Guapdad 4000 Changes His Name & Drops Visual To New Single “Black Iverson”

It’s time to usher in a new era for Guapdad 4000, or should we say “Guap,” as the Bay Area rapper recently shared that he has changed his stage name. He isn’t the first—and won’t be the last—artist to switch things up, but the very mention of the news has Guap’s fans excited for what’s to come in 2022 and beyond.

Along with his recent revelation comes a new song, “Black Iverson,” and it arrives following several singles that Guap has shared within the last few months. According to Complex, the rapper is readying his forthcoming album that hosts a title that mirrors his new name. “Black Iverson” was premiered just about a month ago when Guap appeared on Colors Studios and now, the world has the official version along with a visual.

“‘Black Iverson’ is a song reflecting on my journey from start till now,” he reportedly said in a press release. Check out “Black Iverson” and let us know what you think.

Quotable Lyrics

They used to try to leave me out the flyer for the show (Yeah, they do that)
Now my trailer say it’s Guapdad on HBO (HBO Max)
Bottles of champagne get delivered to my home (Rosé)
I’m in Cologne smelling like weed, buying cologne

Fake Drake Claims He’s Not Trying To Be Like Rapper: “I Didn’t Ask To Be Famous”

Despite jumping from city to city looking like Drake, booking club events posing as Drake, and even bragging about the rapper not being mad about him trying to live off Drake’s perks, Fake Drake insists that he isn’t trying to be anyone else but himself. The new wave has become everyday folks who look like rappers capitalizing on their resemblance. We recently saw “Perkio,” or Lil Durk’s lookalike, not only causing chaos at a local mall after fans thought he was the real thing but getting hired by the Chicago rapper for a music video.

Perkio’s fame came after that of Fake Drake who took over social media once he was captured in Miami, hopping from one club to the next.

After recently making an appearance with Perkio, giving us “Laugh Now, Cry Later” 2.0, Fake Drake claims his personality and demeanor are all him, not a Drake wannabe.

“This is just who I am,” he said. “I’m just like, I’m just going with the flow, you know? I didn’t ask to become famous.” The ladies interviewing him noted that he looks and acts like Drake. “I act like Drake?”

He was even questioned about getting the same heart-shaped haircut as Drake when the OVO icon was promoting Certified Lover Boy.

“I’ve had the heart for like a year and a half,” he claimed. “Nah, ’cause I have the heart because you know, if you do things with your heart it’s come back.” He wouldn’t confirm or deny if he got the cut before Drake, but later said, “I guess so.” He also teased that he saw Drake wearing a certain jacket that he had years ago. He’s having fun stirring the pot, obviously.

Bhad Bhabie’s Estranged Father Believes She’s Being “Groomed” To Become A Porn Star

He may be estranged from his famous 19-year-old daughter, but that doesn’t mean Ira Peskowitz doesn’t have several opinions about her life choices. Bhad Bhabie, real name Danielle Bregoli, recently lit up the internet after she revealed that she allegedly made over $50 million from OnlyFans. The teen launched her account just days after her 18th birthday and it quickly became a moneymaker.

However, there have been people, including Bregoli’s father, who questioned not only the validity of the $50 million claim but whether or not those early, sexy OnlyFans images of the star were taken prior to her becoming of legal age. In an interview with The Sun, Peskowitz stated that he believed Bregoli is being “groomed” to be a porn star.

“Was she groomed? Absolutely. With the way she dressed, the way she acted, everything was sex-related and encouraged by people around her,” he reportedly said. “Who in their right mind thinks, ‘Ah she’s just turned 18 so now it’s time to make money on OnlyFans.’ You don’t think of that in a few days there must have been some preparation when she was under 18. It’s not normal to pay to see a barely legal girl explicitly. The sad thing is they treat her like a product. Everyone around her just wants her to make money.”

She doesn’t rap anymore, she doesn’t sing, she doesn’t go on tour,” Peskowitz added. “She sits in her house and she does her OnlyFans. I don’t know how many hours a day they are telling her to do it but to make that kind of money must be time-consuming. I know there’s a leaked video of her with a bunch of girls doing sexual things.”

Peskowitz doesn’t know how long his daughter plans on continuing her OnlyFans stint. “Is she going to become a porn star or is she going to on the billboards as feature at the strip club?… I don’t want to know what goes on on the site, she’s my daughter. But I’m sure that people will only pay to look at a naked girl for so long. There has to be something more and more enticing for people to pay continuously.”

Dwyane Wade & Gabrielle Union Give Advice To Parents Of Transgender Children

The Wades have been vocal about their support of daughter Zaya Wade, but the journey has been fraught with controversy. Dwyane Wade’s daughter Zaya announced her transition as just a young teen and the news came with millions of opinions from the global public. Wade and wife Gabrielle Union have been avid supporters of the LGBTQIA+ community, and they have used their experiences to help teach others who may be in similar situations.

Wade and Union joined many of their famous friends on the red carpet of the 2022 Met Gala today (May 2) and were stopped by Variety. They were praised for their parenting and asked about advice they would give to others.

“Just being a father and just seeing our child grow up every day and doing what you’re supposed to be doing as a parent,” said the NBA icon. “It’s to make sure that you sit back and see what it is in life that they want to do, and try to go there with them, and try to help them, mold them into what it is they want to be and who they want to be.”

“So, we’re just doing our part as parents,” Wade continued. “We love our kids. We get to see them every day. That’s what people on the outside don’t get to see, but we know them and we see them all the time.” Union chimed in with a thought: “And we believe them when they tell us who they are.”

Wade was asked what he would tell a father who just learned that their child is transgender.

“I would say, the moment when you were in the hospital and you grabbed your daughter and you looked at your daughter, and all the things that went through your mind, all the emotions that went through your mind, how much love filled your heart at that moment. Don’t let that ever leave you. No matter what.”

Tyler, The Creator Is Once Again Amazed During Nardwuar Interview

There is nothing like a Nardwuar interview to get your blood flowing, and he returns with his fifth with Tyler, The Creator. The rapper has been blown away by Nardwuar’s extensive knowledge for years and now, like many others, he embraces his eccentric, lovable personality. This time, Tyler visited Nardwuar at Beat Street Records where they once again hashed out Tyler’s secrets and unknowns for almost an hour.

The Call Me If You Get Lost No.1 hitmaker perused the store that housed all sorts of goodies from music history. From classic, coveted magazine and album covers to tour posters to lifesize cutouts of rappers to limited edition collectibles, Tyler was flooded with memories.

It’s clear that Tyler, The Creator is no longer surprised by the topics brought up by Nardwuar, especially pertaining to the early days of his musical aspirations. The rapper spoke at length about the person who taught him how to make music with programs like Garage Band, shared his picks of the best place to get donuts in Los Angeles, and gushed over receiving a particular edition of the now-defunct Urb magazine with N.E.R.D. on the cover. Apparently, he tried to purchase it from a magazine stand when it was released but only had $4 of the the $6 cost so he missed out, making it one of the few that he didn’t have in his collection, until now.

It’s yet another unbelievable interview under Nardwuar’s belt, so check out his time with Tyler, The Creator at Beat Street Records below.

FKA Twigs Gets Trial Date Set In Lawsuit Against Shia LaBeouf: Report

Between 2018 and 2019, Shia LaBeouf and FKA Twigs reportedly dated for nine months. Like many other celebrity relationships, their romance captivated a global pop culture audience and when it was over, it was another Hollywood connection that couldn’t last. However, near the end of 2020, Twigs came forward to publicly accuse the movie star of sexual battery, abuse, assault, and more.

As other celebrities were busy getting themselves together for the 2022 Met Gala today (May 2), a Los Angeles court was reportedly setting a jury trial date for the lawsuit Twigs filed against LaBeouf.

Rolling Stone reported that the pair of entertainers will present their cases to a jury in just about a year on April 17, 2023. Pitchfork reportedly requested a statement from both FKA Twigs and Shia LaBeouf, but neither returned the call. Last summer, there were tentative reports that both parties were nearing a settlement agreement, but it is unclear if that is an ongoing negotiation.

“What I went through with Shia was the worst thing I’ve ever been through in the whole of my life,” Twigs previously told The New York Times in an extensive interview about her allegations. “I don’t think people would ever think that it would happen to me. But I think that’s the thing. It can happen to anybody.”

In response, LaBeouf would issue an enigmatic statement where he said he has “no excuses for my alcoholism or aggressions,” also citing that he has “been abusive to myself and everyone around me for years.”

SZA Offers Album Update: “It’ll Be A ‘SZA Summer'”

After teasing fans about her sophomore album for over a year, it looks as if SZA is coming through this summer. There have been updates about SZA’s follow-up to her 2017 Ctrl debut, but with each hopeful bit of news, SZA returns to say that there is yet another delay. At one point, the songbird even shared that she was thinking of scrapping everything she worked on and beginning a new record altogether. Fans became so impatient that they began to troll Punch, Top Dawg Entertainment’s president.

Back in October 2021, SZA shut down the rumor mill after gossip began to spread that she planned on releasing her record on the same day that Summer Walker delivered Still Over It. Yet, she didn’t give any news about a potential release date for her anticipated effort.

Now, the TDE singer is offering yet another update, this time while strutting on the 2022 Met Gala red carpet.

Back in January 2021, SZA caught up with Cosmopolitanmagazine and shared the inspiration behind her next record. At the time, she suggested that she made have been locking horns with her label about what to release, but everything seems to have gotten back on track.

“This album is going to be the sh*t that made me feel something in my…here and in here,” she said, placing a hand on her heart and one on her stomach. “That’s what’s going to go on the album. I’m making all different types of sh*t every day from different places in my spirit.” Check out her Met Gala moment below.

2022 Met Gala Round-Up: Lizzo, SZA, Kid Cudi, Nicki Minaj, Future, Cardi B, Gunna, Chlöe, Normani & More

Social media users are finding it difficult to navigate their apps after platforms have been overtaken with images from this year’s Met Gala. Celebrities from all walks of the industry are strutting the red carpet in the finest of ‘fits as their fashion choices pay homage to the 2022 theme: “In America: An Anthology of Fashion.” This theme is the second part of last year’s focus which was “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion.”

The Museum of Modern Art’s Costume Institute head curator Andrew Bolton spoke about the inspiration behind the exhibition that goes live later this week. Bolton’s primary focus is inclusivity in fashion and he told Vogue that the exhibition will “[provide] a historical context for Lexicon, in a way.”

“The stories really reflect the evolution of American style, but they also explore the work of individual tailors, dress-makers, and designers,” he added. “What’s exciting for me is that some of the names will be very familiar to students of fashion, like Charles James, Halston, and Oscar de la Renta, but a lot of the other names really have been forgotten, overlooked or relegated into the footnotes of fashion history. So one of the main intentions of the exhibition is to spotlight the talents and contributions of these individuals, and many of them are women.”

We’ve gathered just a select few images from the star-studded fashion and art event, so check them out below to see people like Lizzo, Nick Minaj, Cardi B, Kim Kardashian, Pete Davidson, SZA, Janelle Monae, Future, Gunna, Questlove, Kylie Jenner, Ciara, Normani, and more.
