SiR Yearns For His Lost Love In The ‘Satisfaction’ Visual
It’s felt like a long wait for new SiR music, with a few errant singles and features occupying the space between present day and 2019’s Chasing Summer. As fans have wondered what is next and when it’s coming, the answers could be coming sooner than they think after the TDE artist returned today (May 5) with the single “Satisfaction” and an accompanying visual.
What begins as a heartwarming reflection on a happy relationship with one lover evolves into the 35-year-old cycling between different activities with different women. Through it all, his expression is never as bright as when he’s with the woman he truly loves. In “Satisfaction,” SiR sings about wanting to stay in his true love’s arms and wishing the future could never happen because he knows, inevitably, things will fall apart.
Prior to this, the Inglewood native appeared on “Common Sense” with his brother D Smoke, the “Same Space” remix with Tiana Major9, and his own solo outing “Teach Me” from the Judas & The Black Messiah soundtrack. Though rumors are swirling around TDE’s roster as a whole when it comes to projects, it still remains that Kendrick Lamar’s upcoming Mr. Morale And The Big Steppers is the only confirmed upcoming release. Still, with it almost being three years since SiR’s last LP, fans are definitely prepared to chase him into the summer until he drops again.
RXK Nephew Boasts His Street Credentials In His ‘C.A.N.D.Y.’ Performance For ‘UPROXX Sessions’
Rochester rapper RXK Nephew brings chaotic energy to a wild performance of his song “C.A.N.D.Y.” for the latest episode of UPROXX Sessions.
A burgeoning underground favorite, Nephew raps with a booming, gripping voice and a crashing, waterfall-esque approach to rhythm. His lines tumble out in a rush, like he can’t wait to get to the next overstuffed bar, packing in as many syllables as he can pronounce and still be legible. He uses much the same approach to his music releases, dropping song after song, tape after tape in what appears to be an effort to become the most prolific rapper not just today, but of all time. His shock raps are reminiscent of ’90s horrorcore, chock-full of off-the-wall references and threats, but fall out of his head in true stream of consciousness form. He’s the perfect rapper for the hyperactive, meme-informed era we live in today.

UPROXX Sessions is Uproxx’s performance show featuring the hottest up-and-coming acts you should keep an eye on. Featuring creative direction from LA promotion collective, Ham On Everything, and taking place on our “bathroom” set designed and painted by Julian Gross, UPROXX Sessions is a showcase of some of our favorite performers, who just might soon be yours, too.
Dillon Brooks Hit With Hefty Punishment After Gary Payton II Incident
Just a couple of nights ago, Gary Payton II of the Golden State Warriors had his elbow fractured at the hands of Dillon Brooks. During Game 2 of the series between the Grizzlies and the Warriors, Payton had himself a wide open layup, however, Brooks came in and took a swipe at Payton which led to a pretty hard collision between Payton and the hardcourt.
As you can see in the clip below, the play was quite violent, and a lot of people took exception to what happened. They felt as though Brooks was being very reckless, including Warriors head coach Steve Kerr who noted that the play was dirty and that Brooks even broke the unwritten basketball code.
Over the past couple of days, the NBA has been trying to figure out what their next course of action should be in terms of Brooks’ actions. As you can see in the statement down below, the NBA has announced that Brooks will have to miss one game for his play on Payton. This means that Brooks will not be in attendance tonight as the Grizzlies take on the Warriors in Game 3 of their series.
This could be a make or break decision for this series as the Grizzlies will need all the help they can get as they take on the veteran Warriors.

A$AP Rocky Shades Chris Brown Over Rihanna Assault On “D.M.B”
A$AP Rocky is back with new heat. The rapper emerged with his latest single, “D.M.B” earlier today, accompanied by a visual starring the leading lady in his life, Rihanna. Of course, there have been plenty of reactions surrounding the record, including a scene that suggests the couple quietly tied the knot.

Rocky’s new single is evidently an ode to his muse but some fans suspect that Rocky also threw shade at Rihanna’s exes, namely Chris Brown. Though it’s been years since Rihanna and Chris Brown have been together, and both have moved on, no one’s forgotten Chris Brown’s assault on Rihanna in 2009.
At one point in the record, Rocky raps, “I don’t beat my bitch, I need my bitch.” Though there are a few ways that bar can be interpreted, several fans felt that this is most definitely directed towards Breezy. On top of that, the song dropped on the R&B singer’s 33rd birthday.
The rapper’s new single arrived with an excellent visual that showcases the couple roaming through the streets of New York City looking swagful. It also marks Rocky’s first single in nearly three years following 2019’s “Babushka Boi.” It’s unclear if this is a one-off single but we wouldn’t be mad if this was the beginning of a new album rollout.
Check out a few reactions to Rocky’s perceived jab at Chris Brown below.
Nicki Minaj Says She Would Consider Breast Reduction
Nicki Minaj took to her Instagram Live this morning to talk more about her body, specifically her breasts. The Trinidadian rapper had already shown off her slim waist in an IG post the night prior, saying “Big boobs can be very fkng misleading,” apparently in response to comments about her weight following her appearance at the Met Gala.
The “Bussin” rapper, who prides herself on her physique, elaborated further on her statement during the Live. Nicki starts, “Can you please let these people know how my boobs is mad big and makes me…” she trails off, hinting at her weight.
“If their purpose were to feed the baby. Now the baby is fed. Now technically in the eyes of god, in the eyes of man. I can do whatever I want with my titties,” Nicki continued before referencing a breast reduction. “But, I mean, will people see me differently if I go to an A-cup?” The other person in her Live responds, “I don’t think so. But would you go to an A-cup though?” to which Nicki quickly says, “Yes.” After being asked, “You don’t think that’s too small though?” Nicki responds, “No. No. No.”

As it turns out, the criticism surrounding her look at the Met Gala was actually the result of a wardrobe mishap. Nicki revealed to PageSix, “The only unplanned thing about my look is my boobs popping out, because they made my cup size a little small.”

Paul Pierce Has A Question For Ben Simmons
Ben Simmons is one of the most hated players in the NBA right now and it is mostly because he never actually plays any games. This entire season, Simmons was able to duck the Philadelphia 76ers and once he was traded to the Brooklyn Nets, he was able to duck them as well. The former was because he didn’t like being in Philly anymore while the latter was supposedly due to some sort of back injury.
Everyone thought the back injury would subside after a brief period of time, however, it only got more and more frustrating. Last night, things took yet another unexpected turn as it was revealed that Simmons would now have to get surgery on a herniated disc, which is going to keep him out for another four months.

The reactions to this news have not been pretty, with many questioning the way in which Simmons even got injured in the first place. After all, it’s not like he has been playing any basketball. In fact, this was a sentiment shared by Paul Pierce, who took to Twitter with a reaction of his own.
“I’m trying to figure out did I miss that game Ben Simmons hurt his back when did this all happen,” Pierce said.
it’s impossible to disagree with Pierce given everything that has transpired. Simmons has yet to play any meaningful basketball in quite some time, and if you’re part of the Nets’ front office, you have to be a bit worried right now.
HBO Releases “Game Of Thrones” Spin-Off Trailer For “House Of The Dragon”
HBO has finally released the trailer of the Game of Thrones spin-off series, House of the Dragon, set to premiere on August 21, 2022. The 10-episode season is set 300 years before the events of Thrones occurred focusing on the story of the Targaryen civil war.
The new series will star Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Steve Toussaint, Fabien Frankel, Sonoya Mizuno, and Rhys Ifans. HBO gave fans a first look of the prequel last year, releasing photos of new characters based on George R.R.Martin’s book Fire & Blood.
The Twitter account for the series @houseofthedragon is also updating fans, keeping them hyped for the first season. The account tweeted out, “The reign of House Targaryen begins…” earlier this morning before releasing the teaser.
Game of Thrones concluded its eight-year run on HBO back in 2019, leaving many people disappointed with how the show ended. Fans took to social media to express their dislike for the season finale, and stars of the show like Emilia Clarke, who played the “Mother of Dragons” Daenerys Targaryan, explained her own feelings as well, apparently “annoyed” with how the series ended.
The House of the Dragon trailer begins with Corlys Velaryon asking, “What is this brief, mortal life, if not the pursuit of legacy?”
Check it out below and let us know if you’ll be tuning into the HBO series.
