Machine Gun Kelly teased a new track titled, “Cherry Red Lipstick,” featuring Willow Smith on TikTok, earlier this week. The song will likely be included on Kelly’s upcoming album, Mainstream Sellout, which was originally titled Born With Horns.

“I fell in love with an emo girl / I’m in love with an emo girl,” Kelly raps in the chorus of the new song.

In the TikTok video, Smith jumps in to join in the chorus.

Despite both himself and his collaborator, Travis Barker, getting tattoos of the title Born With Horns, Kelly announced on Monday that he is changing the title of his new album in another TikTok, this time with Barker.

“Remember when, um… remember when we got the album name, the new album name, tattooed on our arms?” Kelly asks Barker in the video.

“You’re changing it,” Barker said. “OK, what’s the new album name?”

The clip then cuts to the name, Mainstream Sellout.

As for what fans can expect from the rest of the upcoming album, Kelly recently revealed that Mainstream Sellout will be much “deeper” than his previous work.

“It feels more guitar-heavy for sure, lyrically it definitely goes deeper – but I never like to do anything the same,” Kelly told Billboard in October. “Every album is a juxtaposition of the last album. So I went and studied ‘Tickets [To My Downfall]’, and I heard the bright sound that I had, and for this album I just turned the lights off.”

Tom Brady has spent 22 seasons in the NFL and during that time, he was won seven Super Bowls. He is easily the most successful quarterback in the entire history of the game, and when all is said and done, he will go down as the greatest player of all time. With that being said, the weekend came with quite a few reports that Brady might retire from the sport, altogether. These were then followed up by other statements claiming that Brady had made no such decision, and still needed some time.

Today, Brady ultimately broke his silence on the matter by confirming all of the reports that had come out as of late. On his Instagram today, Brady explained that he will be stepping away from the game and that he is officially a retired man.

In his Instagram post, Brady was understandably emotional as he thanked all of the people who are responsible for helping him become the quarterback he is today. Interestingly enough, he made no mention of the Patriots in his retirement post, which is going to have some fans suspicious about his relationship with Bill Belichick and the Kraft’s.

Per Brady:

“I have always believed the sport of football is an “all-in” proposition – if a 100% competitive commitment isn’t there, you won’t succeed, and success is what I love so much about our game,” Brady wrote as part of his post. “There is a physical, mental, and emotional challenge EVERY single day that has allowed me to maximize my highest potential. And I have tried my very best these past 22 years. There are no shortcuts to success on the field or in life. This is difficult for me to write, but here it goes: I am not going to make that competitive commitment anymore. I have loved my NFL career, and now it is time to focus my time and energy on other things that require my attention.”

This is a massive day in the history of the NFL, and there is no doubt that Brady has changed the sport forever. Hopefully, he finds whatever it is he is looking for in retirement.

Bill Cosby’s attorney is combatting the Montgomery County, PA District Attorney’s request to revive his sexual assault case, per Billboard. The comedian was released from prison last year after his conviction was overturned in June. The court ruled in Cosby’s favor on the basis that he had a “nonprosecution agreement” with a former D.A. during the trial of a 2005 lawsuit, which ultimately led to his arrest.

Jennifer Bonjean, Cosby’s attorney, told the Supreme Court in a 15-page letter that a review of the case is “unjustified.” “Notwithstanding the commonwealth’s warning of imminent catastrophic consequences, the Cosby holding will likely be confined to its own ‘rare, if not entirely unique’ set of circumstances, making review by this court particularly unjustified,” said Bonjean.

Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele is facing an uphill battle nonetheless. There’s a slim chance that the U.S. Supreme Court accepts the petition. Four out of the nine members of the court would have to agree for the revival of the case to proceed. Plus, there’s limited evidence that could lead to a retrial. 

The report reveals that former D.A. Bruce Castor is responsible for the only piece of written evidence available to revive the sexual assault case. At the time he said he didn’t have enough evidence to arrest Cosby, though Steele said that doesn’t amount to immunity.

Joe Budden says Kanye West and Future collaborating on the upcoming album, Donda 2, will result in “the most toxic shit in the universe.” Budden discussed his expectations of West’s next album during an episode of The Joe Budden Podcast on Sunday.

When discussing whether Donda 2 will be ready in time for its February 22 release date, the hosts all agreed that it will likely be pushed back. Budden, however, says he still expects the album sooner, rather than later.

“I think this is the most toxic shit in the universe,” he explained. “And for it to be as impactful as the most toxic shit in the universe, it has to be somewhat near real-time. I think this is a counter and a rebuttal. I don’t think his plan was to drop so early. That’s an assumption. That’s speculation from Joe. But he can’t hold this too long. I think he’s been looking at what he deems to be a movie and a script, and he’s been trying to reply the best he could, but he’s a musician. So, he’s going to reply in music.”

He went on to label Future the “toxicist [sic] of the toxic kings.”

If West’s upcoming project is anything like the first Donda, Budden will likely be a fan. The podcaster labeled the original album a “masterpiece” when discussing it back in 2021.

“I love it,” Budden said at the time. “So genius. It’s brilliant. It’s 8.5. It’s [a masterpiece].”

It was a frightening scene on a freeway after DJ Mustard was reportedly involved in an accident. The award-winning producer lives a relatively low profile existence and only rarely gets involved in drama or controversy, but he recently surfaced to show images related to a car crash he was involved in. He detailed what happened and it looks as if he’s lucky to have walked away from this unscathed.

“Last night a drunk driver hit me and another car on the freeway,” he wrote. “Slammed my car into the wall all the airbags came out.”

“Totaled my truck sh*t felt like a movie,” Mustard added. “Smh i was able to walk away with minor bruises no major injuries thank you god ! … on top of that my trek bike was in the back my sh*t was broke i was more mad about that than my car man.”

It is unclear exactly where Mustard was or what the status is of the other victim driving the second vehicle. He also didn’t give an update to the drunk driver responsible so it many assumed that the perpetrator was arrested. Mustard’s vehicle was clearly severely damaged and he has been receiving supportive messages from fans.

Artists have often spoken openly about their childhoods and the struggles they have faced. Some dealt with poverty, others with bullying, and some had trouble academically, and in a new interview with AfroTech, Rick Ross detailed why he used humor to mask areas that he felt he lacked as a youth. The award-winning Rap mogul has acquired a level of success that is often only found in one’s dreams, but he shared that because he struggled in school, he decided to use his ability to make people laugh to his advantage.

“I was a jackass,” said the Miami Carol City Senior High School graduate. “Without a doubt, I was a comedian, I had a good sense of humor. I was the funny dude and all that… And I don’t think it was just because I naturally wanted to be, but [because] I didn’t know the answers to the questions and all the stuff [the teachers were] writing on the wall.”

“That might’ve been my way to cover that up because I never understood, I never learned my multiplication still to this day,” Rozay added. “Imagine when they began going into pre-algebra a=e, that sh*t was like a whole ’nother language to me.”

“I just wanted to walk out of the goddamn…’What are you talking about? A=E? What is this?’ I knew right then, while I was sitting in the math class, I wanted to learn how to be a great speaker because when I’m speaking to somebody, I don’t want them to know my shortcomings in my other areas. So, that’s what made me become a writer and I think that’s why I’m an author now.”

The Carol City native recalled walking the streets of his neighborhood and he said he noticed that those who had the nicest homes were the people who decided to embark into the business world.

“I knew as a youngster, I never wanted to be a dentist. I never wanted to be a doctor,” said Ross. “I never thought about none of that. I knew I would either play football or I would be doing something on my own. And that’s what I did.”

No one supports Brandy more than her little brother, Ray J. The pair have been best friends for the entirety of their lives and have repeatedly included one another in projects from collaborating in the studio to co-starring alongside one another on television. The brother-sister duo always makes sure to give one another shoutouts, so when Brandy belted out the National Anthem at the recent Los Angeles Rams vs. San Francisco 49ers game, Ray J was close by, filming his sister’s big moment. 

“The Vocal Bible” paid homage to her mentor and friend Whitney Houston by wearing a ‘fit much like the one the late icon wore when she sang “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the Super Bowl in 1991.

“Such an honor to be beside you! I’m so proud of you @brandy – your voice is magical!” Ray wrote on Instagram. “Thank you for this life experience! These are the moments we won’t ever forget! Love you!! Thank you for bringing me along and allowing me to learn from all the great things you do! ‘ so blessed to have you as my sister! Wow!! The National Anthem at home in LA for the championship game!”

Brandy jumped in her brother’s comment section and wrote, “Couldn’t do this if you were not right there. @rayj I owe you and I’m practicing the new brave you taught me! I love you Ray!!! Wow.” Check it out below.
