Loui Spits Quick Rhymes On “Get In Get Out” Featuring Dream Doll

In the past, Loui has collaborated with the likes of Saweetie on “Talkin’ Bout,” Lil Jay on “Shake Dat,” and YungManny and YK Osiris on “Her Peace.” Now, the recording artist has linked up with Dream Doll for a fast-paced new track called “Get In Get Out,” that finds both rappers trading braggadocious bars.

In the accompanying music video, we see Loui layered up in an all-white fit and a light blue puffer jacket before the vibe changes and his dark side takes over. The female rap force, for her part, opted to show off her curves in a plunging black and red bodysuit.

Dream received plenty of love for her work on the track. “Her new flow/tone I been loving,” one YouTube user wrote in the music video’s comment section. “She’ll be all over Billboard, her time coming.” Others added, “Okay, 2022 is Dream’s year. She’s killing every track she’s on,” and “Dream just earing these dudes up on they own tracks.”

Smino Cruises With Tiana Major9 In A ‘2 Seater’ Through Their Romantic New Video

Smino is currently putting the finishing touches on his upcoming third album, Luv 4 Rent. He revealed the album’s title at the end of last year, but he hasn’t shared much else about it. Whenever it arrives, it will hopefully be an enjoyable follow-up to his 2018 album Noir. In the meantime, Smino is also lending his talents to other musicians, the latest being British singer Tiana Major9. The two joined forces for their new song “2 Seater,” and it’s a romantic effort that presents a couple who nurtures their relationship through their love for music and relaxing drives with the top down.

The new track is the lead single from Tiana Major9’s upcoming EP Fool Me Once, which is due on March 15. It will also be her first work since 2020’s At Sixes And Sevens, which featured an appearance from Earthgang and which was updated with a remix edition featuring collaborations from Jvck James, Haile, Vince Staples, SiR, Lucky Daye, and Beam.

Until the arrival of Fool Me Once next month, fans can enjoy performances from Major9 at Jazmine Sullivan’s Heaux Tales Tour, where Major9 is as an opening act for shows that continue until the end of March.

You can watch the video for “2 Seater” above.

Fool Me Once is out 3/15 via Motown Records. You can pre-save it here.

Rick Ross Wears A Cowboy Hat To Cut Down His Own Trees After Ranting About Crazy Cost On IG

Rick Ross’ Instagram antics have us laughing once again. On the morning of Saturday, February 26th, the Richer Than I Ever Been hitmaker hopped onto his Story to let his 14.1 million followers know that he wasn’t about to be swindled out of $10K for something that he could do himself.

“They must’ve forgot who the f*ck I am,” the 46-year-old told the camera, a serious look upon his face as he adjusts his cowboy hat. “I’m hands-on, I cut down my own motherf*cking trees. You can’t charge the boss $1,000 a tree to cut it down. I cut down my own motherf*cking trees, I gotta make room for my animals,” he yelled.

In case you missed it, Ross recently welcomed a new cow to The Promised Land, and clearly, he’s got plans to expand the herd, as he needed 10 oak trees removed from his property, which nearly set him back $10,000.

“I’m the Biggest Boss,” he continued before asking, “Y’all ready to go cut these trees down?” Sure enough, in the next clip, we see the multi-hyphenate out in his yard, chainsaw in hand as he conquers one of the huge trees.

As Uproxx notes, the cut wasn’t exactly clean, but it got the job done, and after dishing out $2,000 for the chainsaws, Rozay is left with a cool $8K in his pocket to invest elsewhere – or spend on another furry friend for his luxurious estate.

In other news, we recently sat down with the Biggest Boss for an exclusive interview, during which he opened up about the impact that Young Dolph and Nipsey Hussle’s death has had on the world of hip hop, among other things – read more about that here, and check back in with HNHH later for any updates on Rick Ross and your other favourite artists.

Joe Budden Says Megan Thee Stallion Is Not A Superstar Despite Her Brand Deals

Joe Budden has been in several headlines this week regarding female rappers. Whether it be his highly anticipated upcoming interview with Nicki Minaj or him showing Cardi B some love, Budden has made some notable remarks.

Now, it seems Budden is taking a little more of a sour approach towards Megan Thee Stallion, as he aired out some of his anger about her position in the rap game on his podcast recently. Budden did not agree with some fans thinking Meg is a superstar, saying her album sales do not reflect that status: “You’re not a superstar if you can’t sell an album, what the f**k are we talking about right now? What stops her from being a superstar if we’re taking out sales? She ain’t sold sh*t. Got every brand deal in the world, but also has all the backing from different people. She’s got a lot going on. That’s the game today.”

Budden recognized that artists get more marketing and brand deals now than ever before, but that should not be a measurement for deciding if somebody is of superstar status: “Griselda has a lot going on (too). There’s mad artists that have a lot going on, your management team as got to be a whole f**king team of people. You got to have a team of know-it-all people.”

But, Budden knows to be able to sell albums, you should be smart about when you release. He also says artists of major status like Adele get major attention when they drop, and Megan Thee Stallion does not garner that attention: “Y’all are just making rules up. You still got to know how to sell a f**king album. When Adele come out, you gotta move. When n****s come out, you gotta move. When a superstar comes out, you mortal, mere minion n****s have to move. Nobody does that for Lil Nas X, nobody does that for the seven Meg Thee Stallion releases that dropped over the past two years. What are we saying?”

Do y’all agree with what Joe had to say?
