President Zelensky Claps Back At Russian Media Claims That He’s Fled Ukraine & Is Hiding

As Russian troops continue to move in on the country, conflict in Ukraine is on the rise, but President Zelesnky has made it abundantly clear that he’s not backing down. In a recent video, the 44-year-old politician informed the world that, despite what claims foreign media outlets have been making, he has not fled the country, or gone into hiding.

Standing alongside a group of other men, Zelensky tells the camera, “The head of government is here. The head of the President’s office is here. Prime Minister Shmyhal is here. Adviser Podoliak is here. The President is here. We’re all here.”

“Our soldiers are here. Our citizens are here. We are all here, defending our independence – our country – and it will stay that way,” he went on. “Glory to the men and women defending us. Glory to Ukraine. Glory to the heroes!”

The latest updates on the Russia-Ukraine conflict from CNN reveal that more and more countries have begun closing their airspace to Russian airlines, including Spain and Canada, and the Czech Republic has just joined Poland and Sweden in refusing to play Russia in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

Ukraine’s Ambassador to the US, Oksana Markarova, spoke with ABC News this morning, providing more insight into her native country’s current stance. “Our president, from the beginning, even before the war started, always focused — was focused on the diplomatic solution,” she said.

“And even after the war started, he actually called for peace talks all the time, but he always said, we’re ready for peace talks, we’re not ready to surrender.”

In other news, Bill Maher recently explained the situation that’s happening overseas by using a Kanye West-Pete Davidson-Kim Kardashian analogy – read more that here, and check back in with HNHH later for any updates on the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Ace Hood Prays For Those That Are “At War”

Ace Hood’s newest album M.I.N.D., which stands for Memories Inside Never Die, explicates all of the work that Ace Hood has been doing on himself in recent years. The direction of the project is noted from the jump, as “At War” serves as the first full song after the intro piece. Hood sounds hungry, dedicated, and devoted to his new lifestyle, while also understanding his shortcomings and how he exists within the system.

The first minute of “At War” is Ace Hood speaking on his surroundings, Black America in historical and current context, the worldwide trauma we as Black people endure, etc. There’s an awareness in his delivery that lends to the subject matter, else it would come off as shallow and gimmicky, as these topics can easily fall to redundancy.

Ace Hood also made sure to evolve his sound with the times. “At War” doesn’t sound at all dated, fitting into Hip Hop’s current mainstream schema.

Listen to “At War” below:

Quotable Lyrics

I ain’t gon lie, before I start, this sh*t here too traumatic,
So many people gone in seconds from this COVID action,
And these days, I’m feeling lower than my normal fashion,
If I’m not aligning with my purpose, I’m not fully happy

Drake Seen Living Lavish On Vacation In Turks & Caicos

At this point of his career, Drake has been spotted in almost every corner of the globe, enjoying the lavish lifestyle that comes with his absurd level of success. This time, he was seen chilling in open waters south of the Bahamas.

With his most recent release Certified Lover Boy doing incredible sales numbers, along with his merchandise and Nike collabs flying off shelves whenever available, Drake is undoubtedly eating good. He’s attained wealth at a magnitude where no one in his lineage will have to work again, so it’s never a surprise when we see him parlaying around the world. Also, considering his beef with rappers Kanye West and Pusha T is a thing of the past, his concerns in life are probably minimal.

The most recent Drake excursion was shown by Akademiks via IG:

Drake has been a bit less active than his normal self on the music side of things, which is understandable when raising a child. We’ve seen him attend many events as of late, and his son Adonis hasn’t seemed to be too far behind. We even saw a dope moment of Adonis “teaching” Drizzy how to speak french.

To add to Drake’s ridiculously good fortune, he’s been doing a good bit of online gambling to enter the new year. He’s posted on multiple occasions, showing off his winnings or just displaying that he can gamble on the go. No such thing as too much money, right?
