Antonio Brown Breaks His Silence On NFL Suspension

Today, Antonio Brown and his teammate Mike Edwards were suspended three games by the NFL and NFLPA after it was revealed that they had faked their vaccination cards, thus deceiving their team and the league. This was a huge deal for the NFL as a whole, and it’s no surprise that the NFLPA stepped in as well since this had to do with player safety at large.

Despite the suspension, Brown’s lawyer Sean Burstyn came out and said that his client is, indeed, vaccinated and that he did nothing wrong. AB would not be looking to overturn the suspension, however, it was still quite the statement given the recent investigation.

Per Burstyn:

“Mr. Brown is vaccinated and continues to support the vaccine for any person for whom it is appropriate. The NFL made its determination and, instead of going through the drawn out process of challenging the outcome, Mr. Brown wrapped this up promptly and he will make this most of this time by treating an ankle injury. Mr. Brown will be motivated, well rested, and in the best shape of his life when he returns in week 16.”

Now, AB appears to be speaking out on the matter, or, at least he kind of is. Brown is known for being an enigma on social media, and in the aftermath of his suspension, he decided to take to Twitter by saying “AB Arabian” and that’s it. No one knows what he truly means here, but it’s AB, so you have to kind of expect the ambiguity.

Brown’s suspension is a developing story right now, so stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest updates.

Suspect Arrested In Murder Of Clarence Avant’s 81-Year-Old Wife Jacqueline: Report

A little over 24 hours following the tragic murder of Jacqueline Avant during a home invasion, police have arrested a suspect. Yesterday (December 1), we reported on the shocking home invasion that resulted in the death of 81-year-old Jacqueline Avant. She was the wife to Clarence Avant, a legendary music executive whose career spans decades, generations, and borders.

Hollywood has collectively mourned this callous incident as people like Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry have expressed their grief and devastation publicly. Now, investigators have shared that a suspect is in custody—and he was apprehended after literally shooting himself in the foot.

The suspect has been identified as 29-year-old parolee Aariel Maynor. He was captured on surveillance cameras in the neighborhood as his car was seen leaving the area. However, that wasn’t what directed police to him; it seems that Maynor was arrested after dispatch received a call about a robbery and shooting. He was located behind a second residence with a gunshot wound.

“At this time, we’re only looking at him as a suspect, but again, there’s a lot of evidence to go through, so we’re leaving open the possibility there could be other people involved,” Beverly Hills police Chief Mark Stainbrook said.

Local station CBS 2 News in Los Angeles reported:

Stainbrook described Maynor as a parolee with an extensive criminal history. According to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, he was most recently released to parole supervision on Sept. 1 after serving four years for second-degree robbery. He has previously served time for a separate robbery conviction and grand theft.

Maynor was also found to be in the possession of a firearm similar to the one used to kill Jacqueline Avant. Once Maynor has been treated and cleared by doctors, he will be taken to jail.

LeBron James Cleared To Play After Testing Negative Multiple Times

A couple of nights ago, the Los Angeles Lakers took on the Sacramento Kings and won. This was a special win for the Lakers as they were able to pull it off without LeBron James in the lineup. It was a bit of a shocking absence for the Lakers as it was reported that LeBron James had tested positive for COVID-19 and would have to spend 10 days in quarantine due to the NBA’s health and safety protocols.

Earlier today, it was reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic that the league would not be wavering on the rules and that LeBron will still have to serve his 10 days. It was, however, noted that LeBron had just registered a negative PCR test, which was a good sign moving forward.

Now, LeBron has been completely cleared to play as he has registered a second negative PCR test in 24 hours. The rule is that if you can get two negative tests within a day, then the 10-day rule is completely waived. Not to mention, it was also reported by Charania that LeBron’s positive test from a couple of days ago turned out to be inconclusive. As a result, LeBron will be back on the court much earlier than anticipated.

This is huge news for the Lakers and their fans, as the team’s superstar is now active again. It’s also huge for the league, as LeBron will now be able to play against the Clippers on Friday night.

Bizzy Bone Calls Three 6 Mafia “Devil Worshippers,” Challenges Them To “Denounce Satan”

We’re just hours away from yet another epic Verzuz but things are kicking off with a bit of a hiccup. There have been talks of Three 6 Mafia sharing the stage with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony for a year and a half, but there seems to have been some obstacles behind the scenes that kept this one from happening sooner. Whatever that may have been, the two legendary Hip Hop groups are ready to join together, but not before Bizzy Bone got a few things off of his chest.

Rappers of both collectives have been steadily sharing videos and posts online to help hype the event, but Bizzy’s Instagram caption shared this (December 2) morning got tongues wagging. “This entire time during the countdown to this Verzuz , these n*ggaz have been b*tching about posts. What they are saying in a nut shell is , they don’t want to be called devil worshippers.”

Bizzy went on to say that if the Memphis group did not want to be referred to as “devil worshippers” they should not have named themselves Three 6 Mafia.

“Well wtf is you and wtf is your name three sixes for? Whats that a acronym for? FOH. (Mello rebound) That is the mark of the beast is it not?” he questioned. “Ya’ll grew up in the church so you knew the ramifications behind naming ya self that to MAKE PEOPLE THINK YOU SOLD YOUR SOUL FOR RICHES AND FAME (thats a classic). Now you got your money and u wanna act like nobody can call you out on it? Ya’ll got me f’d up.”

He continued to denounce his Verzuz opponents, accusing them of dismissing the church while challenging them to prove they aren’t “some devil worshipping punk ass n*ggaz.” How? By officially stating that they don’t worship the devil on the Verzuz stage.

Now everybody lets see what they do. If they do not denounce satan tonight it is safe to say they know exactly what they are doing and who they are using and what they are using it for. ALSO …… One more ouija board reference like that covers the toll and imma crack that b*tch on top of one of u fuh n*ggaz heads. Its not Ouija in harmony hoes. So shut that sht up. Understand me? NOW LETS SEE IF THREE SIX DENOUNCES satan tonight LIVE!!!! Pressure.

He also called out Swizz Beatz, Timbaland, and Triller. “I TOLD THEM TO LEAVE ME TF ALONE AND LET ME GO ON ABOUT MY DEVICES. I told em. Now they souls on the line. I am not playing with these n*ggaz.” Check it out below.

Skip Bayless Leaves Dak Prescott Off Top 10 QBs List

Skip Bayless is a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys, and even when the team is struggling, he tries to find a way to be positive. This is especially true when it comes to quarterback Dak Prescott, who has consistently been a solid QB for the team. While his success hasn’t always led to some clutch play out on the field, there are still plenty of Cowboys fans out there who will argue that Dak is a top 5 quarterback in the entire league.

As it turns out, however, Bayless is not one of those people. The Undisputed host is actually unimpressed with Dak’s recent play out on the field, and while listing his top 10 quarterbacks in the entire league, Bayless opted to leave Prescott off of the list.

As you can see in the clip below, Bayless decided to go with the usual superstars like Patrick Mahomes, Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Lamar Jackson, Justin Herbert, Joe Burrow, Kirk Cousins, Josh Allen, Matthew Stafford, and even Kyler Murray. From there, Bayless noted that he would put Derek Carr at 11 over Dak since Carr defeated the Cowboys on Thanksgiving. Overall, Bayless put Prescott at number 12 on his list, which certainly isn’t the biggest showcase of praise you could give someone.

With the Cowboys sitting at a record of 7-4, they are still leading their division, however, they have a lot of work to do if they want to do anything in the playoffs. The NFC is tough this year, and they could easily end up losing in the Wild Card round if they aren’t careful.

Madonna Says 50 Cent Is “Jealous” He Won’t “Look As Good” As Her

Most people who fall victim to 50 Cent’s trolling antics take it with a grain of salt. They may issue some simple response in order to acknowledge the trolling, but many do their best to stay out of harm’s way. However, Madonna is a different breed and has decided not to take Fif’s antics laying down. The Pop icon recently captured attention with her Instagram photo dump and 50 Cent couldn’t help but chime in.

In the pictures, Madonna sported fishnet stockings and was spread in and under a bed. The initial set of photos was deleted because one image showed her nipple, and now that the dust has settled, Madonna returns with a response to Fif’s jibes.

The singer uploaded a photo of herself with the Rap mogul as they look happy while embracing.

“Here is 50 Cent pretending to be my friend. Now you decided to talk smack about me!” she wrote over the photo. “I guess your new career Is getting attention by trying to humiliate others on social media The least elevated choice You could make as An artist and an adult. You’r just jealous you won’t look as good as me or have as much fun when you are my age!”

“Too bad there are no sour grapes emogees.” We’re sure 50 Cent has a full lineup of responses to this one. Check it out below.

An Older Couple Sitting Courtside Next To Drake Had No Idea Who He Was

Drake is a notorious presence courtside at NBA games. While often in Toronto, the part owner of the Raptors often also shows up to big games outside of The Six. But last night, he was slumming it, so to speak, at the Oklahoma City Thunder versus Houston Rockets game in OKC. Folks were understandably perplexed as to why Drizzy would show up to see two cellar-dwellers play early in the season, but he was presumably there to show love to fellow Toronto native Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Thunder. SGA heeded the call and the point guard dropped a cool 39 points in front of the rapper, albeit in a loss. But the big story of this game was the cute older couple that was sitting courtside next to Drake and had no idea who he was.

In a hilarious exchange during a break in play, the arena jumbotron cameras seemed to pan over to Drake. When the couple sitting next to him noticed that they were in the outskirts of the frame on the giant video board, hilarity ensued.

The gentleman taps Drake (who was playing it cool for the camera) on the shoulder and says “Hey man!” to get his attention and his wife leans over and jokingly tells Drake to “Smile!” for the camera. The three break out in laughter and the affable Drake tells the man that the cameras were for him. They shared a laugh and then Rumble, the Thunder’s mascot, came over to shake Drake’s hand. Drake later posted a selfie with the couple on his Instagram story with the caption “My new parents.” Ignorance really is bliss sometimes.

Janelle Monae Is Releasing A Sci-Fi Anthology Book Based On Her ‘Dirty Computer’ Album

Janelle Monae’s music has always been buttressed by a rich supporting narrative awash in Afrofuturism — androids, time travel, and cyberpunk dystopia loom large within her work and the videos and artwork accompanying it. Next year, the Kansas City-born singer will turn that intriguing backstory into a full-on book inspired by her most recent album, 2018’s Dirty Computer. Set for release in April 2022, The Memory Librarian is an anthology of short stories by some of today’s most prominent Afrofuturist authors, telling tales inspired by the overarching Dirty Computer mythology.

“Sci-fi and Afro-Futurism have always been vehicles I use to drive my art & storytelling (no matter the medium) so it’s a dream to be publishing my first short story collection in these genres!” Monae shared on Instagram alongside a photo of the book’s cover. “Thank you to everyone at Harper’s Voyager for the support and opportunity. It’s been a complete honor to swim in creative waters with other dirty computers in our community. I’m so so thankful for these incredible writers for helping bring these stories to light.”

Among those writers are Alaya Dawn Johnson, known for her Zephyr Hollis and Spirit Binders series, Eve Ewing, who has written for Marvel’s Ironheart and Champions series since 2019, fiction writer Yohanca Delgado, veteran author Sheree Renée Thomas, and Danny Lore of Dynamite Entertainment’s licensed James Bond series.

Russell Wilson Compares Himself To Steph Curry

Russell Wilson is one of the best quarterbacks in the entire NFL, however, this season has been particularly rough for him and the team. After hurting his finger, the team went on a losing skid, and even with him back in the lineup, they have yet to recover. It has been a harsh reality for the team as they are currently in one of the best divisions in the entire NFL, and are sinking to the bottom, very quickly.

Despite this new reality, Wilson and the Seahawks are very optimistic that they can still get it done right now. For instance, Wilson recently spoke to reporters, and according to Corbin K. Smith, the former Super Bowl winner is now comparing himself to a frontrunner for NBA MVP.

Of course, that man in question is none other than Steph Curry. Wilson believes the Seahawks are going through similar trials and tribulations as the 2019 Warriors, and that moving forward, this Seahawks team can still get it done. These are some interesting comments, especially when you consider how there have been rumors of Wilson wanting out of Seattle. Clearly, Wilson is committed for the long haul, regardless of who might be the coach.

The Seahawks have a long way to go right now, but with Wilson putting on for the city, they certainly still have a chance at being great after the conclusion of this season.

Russell Westbrook Goes Off On Media For Kawhi Leonard Rumors

Russell Westbrook has always had a contentious relationship with the media, as he has never been one to engage with the rumor mill. At times, Westbrook has been combative with the media, especially when something is affecting his career directly. One such case was the rumors that circulated this past summer as Ramona Shelburne reported that Westbrook was supposed to go with Kawhi Leonard to the Clippers, however, Kawhi decided to choose Paul George instead.

Today, during a Lakers press conference, this report was brought up by Bill Oram of The Athletic, and unsurprisingly, Russ was not having it whatsoever. The Lakers point guard even lashed out a bit at the media, noting that unless it comes from him, he doesn’t want to hear it or engage with it.

Via ClutchPoints:

“Oram: Hey Russ, on the PG front, before he ended up with the Clippers, there was some reporting that you had some interest maybe in joining up with Kawhi. I’m just curious how you look at it, and how that story has played out for the two of you since that moment.

Russ: Reports from who?

Oram: I think there were a couple of different reports over this summer that you had maybe had some conversations with Kawhi and then that was used maybe to faciliate PG coming to the Clippers.

Russ: I know. You didn’t tell me who it was from … If you can’t tell me who you got it from then I can’t answer the question.”

This was then followed up by a lengthy discussion in which Westbrook was adamant that Shelburne’s report was bogus and that the sources were wrong. Numerous reporters tried to chime in and defend Shelburne, but Russ stuck to his guns the entire time.
