Cardi B Confronts Security At A Miami Club: “Let The Black Women In Here”

While spending some time in beautiful Florida for Miami Art Week, 29-year-old Cardi B was recorded by a group of fans while sticking up for some Black women who appeared to be being denied entry to the city’s popular club, E11EVEN.

As Cardi approached the entrance, a woman taking a video of her can be heard saying, “they’re not even letting the sisters in tonight, girl, they not even letting the sisters in.” Quickly, a security guard turns around and tries to shield the “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker from the fans talking to her.

The group continued to explain to the celebrity that they had watched guards let white women, and everyone else but them, really, inside. The mother of two boldly spoke up, insisting that security “let Black women in here,” several times, and loud enough that she could obviously be heard.

A post shared to @balleralert on Instagram explains, “The bouncer is heard telling Cardi that they were going to let them in but did not after Cardi entered the club. The women wanted to purchase a table and had the means to do so. They are still befuddled on why they were denied.”

Complex reports that E11LEVEN has not yet responded to the claims that it was denying entry to Black women.

In other news, Cardi B has been keeping extra busy as 2021 draws to a close, recently celebrating her major new role at Playboy as their first-ever Creative Director, and the purchase of a gorgeous $5 million home in New Jersey, which you can read more about here.

“Joe Byron” TikTok Sensation Has GoFundMe Launched To Get Him Off The Streets

Thanks to Side Talk NYC and the hilarious patrons of the great city, phrases like “f*ck ya life, bing bong” and “what do you wanna tell Joe Byron right now?” have been flying all over the internet, keeping us laughing for hours on end.

If you’re not familiar, @sidetalknyc is “New York’s one-minute street show,” and features comedic internet personalities who best know how to showcase the ridiculous antics of the city. Check out what we mean in the clip below.

A Side Talk regular is a homeless Coney Island local named TJ – better known to some as “Joe Byron,” after his funny nickname for the current president – who is often seen break dancing and yelling hilarious nonsense in videos. As the page has risen in popularity, more and more people have taken interest in him, and TikToker Zoë McCreary even launched a GoFundMe to help get him into a house.

“Tj is a homeless man trying to get his life together and off the streets,” the description reads. “This will help him get inside and warm place to sleep at night and food to eat. He is sober he just needs a little push.” The page’s initial goal of $5,000 was surpassed long ago, and is currently sitting at $26,000.

New videos uploaded by those assisting TJ show him to be very excited upon finding out the good news. “Hey, my people. Thank you so much. I love you guys. But remember, you do make a difference,” he said in one clip. “I never thought a dumb idiot like me would be this popular,” he added in another.

“But, you know what, I’m not the popular one. You guys are. And thank you for the new pad I’m gonna get because of all your givings. All the givings you gave me overnight. I made over $10 million…$10,000, sorry. I got a little excited, I jumped the gun,” TJ laughed.

According to Complex, “Gucci Flip Flops” rapper Bhad Bhabie is one of the over 1,700 people to give to TJ’s cause; GoFundMe lists her as a $2,000 donor.

Jake Paul Goes Off On Tommy Fury For Withdrawing

Tommy Fury has backed out of his fight against Jake Paul which was supposed to go down on December 18th. To make up for this, Paul will be fighting Tyron Woodley, which is a rematch from August. Jake ended up winning that much by decision, and this time around, he is looking to get a full knockout on Woodley.

As for Fury, Jake is not impressed with the British fighter. Jake really thought he would be able to have a good fight against the undefeated boxer, however, Jake feels like Tommy never took this seriously. In fact, during a press conference today, Jake went off on Tommy and noted that he never seemed to be interested in actually participating in the match.

As you can see in the clip below, Jake says that Tommy did a horrible job when it came to promoting the fight and that the Fury brother didn’t even want to participate in press conferences. Jake believes Fury is simply an unserious fighter and that if the opportunity were to present itself, he would avoid working with the Fury’s, ever again.

It remains to be seen if these two will ever step in the ring with one another, so stay tuned to HNHH as we will be sure to bring you all of the latest updates on that front. In the meantime, let us know if you think Paul will defeat Woodley again, in the comments below.

Papoose Keeps The Monthly Tradition Going With “November” Mixtape

Papoose is nearing retirement. The rapper announced that he’d be hanging up the mic for good after 2021 but you wouldn’t have guessed that by his recent run. Pap’s been blessing fans with a new project every single month, and he hasn’t missed yet. He’s shared collaborations alongside Lil Wayne, Method Man, The Game, and so many more. These releases of these projects have been bittersweet, knowing that it could very well be the last few bodies of work we’ll hear from Pap.

This week, the rapper blessed fans with November. The latest EP from Pap boasts seven songs in total without any credited features. Pap does link up with a few extraordinary producers on this one, though, including Bangladesh and Jazze Pha.

Check out Pap’s latest project below.

Mozzy Teams With Celly Ru & E Mozzy For “H.G.M” Mixtape

It’s been a productive year for Mozzy, once again. The rapper teamed up with YG at the top of the year for their joint project, Kommunity Service which set the tone for his subsequent solo offering, Untreated Trauma. Following three years of delivering quality, the rapper’s latest solo body of work got him some much-needed recognition, but with the recent praise surrounding his name, Mozzy’s spreading the spotlight on some of his artists.

This weekend, the rapper unveiled the H.G.M mixtape alongside E Mozzy and Celly Ru. The project is 12-songs in total, largely consisting of collaborations between the three rappers. However, additional appearances come from YG, YS, Cash Kidd, and more.

Press play on Mozzy, Celly Ru, and E Mozzy’s H.G.M project below and sound off in the comments with your thoughts.

Logan Paul Chastises Tommy Fury For Backing Out Of Jake Paul Fight

Jake Paul and Tommy Fury were going to fight in a couple of Saturdays from now, however, the fight is officially off as Fury is out with an infection and an injury. Now, Tyron Woodley will be getting in the ring with Paul as the two will face off for what should be an exceptional rematch. These two had a very close fight the first time around, however, it was Jake who came away with the win by decision. Now, he will be looking to get a full-on knockout against the former MMA star.

As for Jake’s brother Logan, he doesn’t think too highly of Fury. In fact, Logan took to his Instagram story recently and lambasted the British boxer, noting that he fumbled the bag, and was simply not man enough to get in the ring.

“It’s a good thing you’re beautiful, you sexy blue-eyed beast, because you are a pussy,” Logan said simply. Fury’s reason for dropping the fight seems completely reasonable, although you have to expect this kind of trash-talking from the Paul brothers. After all, they are taking these fights incredibly seriously, and Fury was Jake’s best shot at a real boxer.

Either way, Jake will look to remain undefeated on December 18th, as he attempts to knockout Woodley in what could be his most entertaining fight to date.

Drake’s 2022 Grammy Nominations Have Been Withdrawn

At the Grammy nominations announcement ceremony a few weeks back, it was announced that 35-year-old Drake had earned himself two nods this year – Best Rap Album for Certified Lover Boy and Best Rap Performance for his Future & Young Thug collab track, “Way 2 Sexy.”

According to Variety, the father of one and his management team have made the decision to withdraw his submissions, with the Grammys choosing to honour the rapper’s request. He has yet to address the choice publicly, and at the time, his motivation remains unclear.

The article notes that, since ballots have already been posted to Academy members, voting will go forward with just four nominees rather than giving a nomination to the recipient of the sixth-most votes, as has happened in the past.

It’s no secret that Drizzy has had his troubles with the Grammys in the past – he himself holds a total of four wins and 47 nominations – but last year, he expressed his opinion that it’s time for change to come in the industry. The “God’s Plan” recording artist called for “something new that we can build up over time and pass on to the generations to come” following the Academy’s blatant snub of The Weeknd despite his obvious success.

“I think we should stop allowing ourselves to be shocked every year by the disconnect between impactful music and these awards and just accept that what once was the highest form of recognition may no longer matter to the artist that exist now and the ones that come after,” he wrote on Instagram at the time. “It’s like a relative you keep expecting to fix up but they just won’t change their ways. The other day I said @theweeknd was a lock for either album or song of the year along with countless other reasonable assumptions and it just never goes that way.”

What do you think Drake is plotting with his sudden decision to withdraw? Speculate in the comments.

Berner Explains How He Nearly Secured A Jay-Z Verse On “GOTTI”

Berner raised the stakes with his latest album, GOTTI — arguably, his most ambitious to date. Laced with high-profile features, from Future to Nas, GOTTI arrived after he announced that he was battling cancer. The Cookies Boss underwent surgery last month and is still in recovery but, as expected, the hustle doesn’t stop for him.

During a recent interview with Cabbages Newsletter, the rapper detailed the making of the project, including getting John Gotti Jr.’s blessing to use their family name. While he was able to secure verses from Nas, Rick Ross, and more MCs, he revealed that he nearly got in a record with Jay-Z.

“I even reached out to Jay-Z to get on the album,” Berner said. “He didn’t get on the album, but he heard the record, it was put in front of him. And there was a rollercoaster for like a week where we thought he was going to do a verse to the project. Shit like that just doesn’t happen.”

Another factor that could’ve played a role in the record not working out is that Berner needed the verse turned around quickly. Given his busy schedule with the Cookies brand, and his recent health issues, he put a due date on when the verse could be submitted.

“I put time limits on everything. Maybe that’s part of the reason why Jay-Z didn’t do the verse. I sent him an incredible record and I told him I needed by this day. And my boy was joking with me, like, did you just try to on-demand Jay-Z? I only have X amount of time to work on the music, like with Cookies being what it is, with the clothing, the apparel side of the business, being what it is, I don’t have much time to work on music,” he said.

Berner said Memphis Bleek helped put the song in front of Hov.  Even with a deluxe edition on the way, he doesn’t seem convinced that he’ll get a verse from Jay-Z. However, he said that he’s appreciative of the opportunity, nonetheless.

“I don’t think he’s gonna do it. You know, that’s a rare thing,” he added. “But, shout out to Memphis Bleek, the fact I was actually able to put the record in his hands is a life goal on its own, to even entertain that conversation.”
