42 Dugg Was Supposed To Be On Tour With King Von & Pooh Shiesty Right Now

Artists and their teams often map out the trajectory of a rapper’s career but life has a way of interrupting those plans. The ongoing of people’s personal lives have often caused careers to derail for one reason or another, and commonly, we see this occur when tragedy strikes. We have reported on albums being pushed back or tours being delayed due to paperwork or health issues, but there are also those times when death or incarceration have disrupted schedules.

It was just one year ago when King Von was shot and killed outside of an Atlanta bar and the anniversary has caused many who knew him personally to take to social media to reflect on where life would be if he was still alive.

Dugg wrote, “I miss my n*gga @KingVonFrmdaWic and my n*gga @pooh_shiesty we all suppose to be on TOUR RITE NOW GOING CRAZY RIP MY N*GGA VON AND FREE SHIESTY.”

Pooh Shiesty has remained incarcerated since he was arrested over the summer in connection to a 2020 shooting robbery. A little over a week ago, he reportedly changed his not guilty plea to guilty. Timothy “Lul Tim” Leeks has been charged in Von’s murder but has been released on bond.

Boosie Badazz Claims Fans Say He’s Their Voice: “I’m Making A Difference”

There are artists who buckle after being pressured by social media and then there is Boosie Badazz. The rapper’s often colorful commentary has repeatedly gone viral as his unfiltered perspectives on pop culture caused social media conversations. However, not everyone agrees with his takes, and his most recent backlash came from his back and forth trolling with Lil Nas X.

Boosie squared off against critics after he tweeted for Lil Nas X to take his own life, in addition to calling him a “f**got,” but the Louisiana icon remains unmoved. In a recent, brief video shared online, Boosie seemed encouraged by interactions he recently had with fans.

According to Boosie, he was out and about, minding his business when he was approached by several people who praised him for speaking his truth.

“I was out making groceries, eight different people came up to me and told me man, you the voice I ain’t got, bruh,” said Boosie. “Eight different people told me man, don’t let nobody silence you, bruh. You all we got, bruh. Eight different people just told me that in three hours. Like, man, sh*t crazy, man.”

“About four women and four dudes said the exact same thing,” the rapper continued. “I’m making a difference.” Watch Boosie’s video below and let us know if you agree with those eight people.

Carole Baskin & Husband Sue Netflix Over “Tiger King 2”: Report

She was once an unknown figure draped in her own drama outside of the prying eyes of the public but Netflix producers made sure that Carole Baskin became a superstar. We were all under quarantine with Tiger King became an internet sensation and the world was thrust into the lives of Baskin, Joe Exotic, and all of the characters involved in their alleged crimes.

Baskin’s story detailed her feud with Joe Exotic as well as the true-crime tangent that followed the disappearance of her husband. She was soon labeled by the masses to be involved in her husband’s case despite multiple statements by Baskin saying she had no idea where he was.

Netflix recently shared the teaser to Tiger King 2 and it did not take long for Baskin and her husband to file a lawsuit against the production company, Royale Goode Productions, and the streaming platform. The Baskins allege that they were only contractually bound to the first film and signed a release for that documentary only, but that did not carry over to a second installment.

“Understanding that the Appearance Releases limited Royal Goode Productions’ use of the footage of the Baskins and Big Cat Rescue to the single, initial documentary motion picture, the Baskins believed that any sequel – though odious – would not include any of their footage,” court documents read, according to Variety. The outlet further stated that the Baskins did not expect to see themselves in Tiger King 2.

“‘Tiger King 1’ was particularly harsh and unfair in its depiction of the Baskins and Big Cat Rescue. The ‘Tiger King 1’ series wrongly attempted to suggest that Big Cat Rescue abused its animals by keeping them in very small cages while not making clear that the animals actually reside in expansive enclosures,” the lawsuit continues. “Also, ‘Tiger King 1’ incorrectly suggests an equivalency between Big Cat Rescue and Joe Exotic’s roadside zoo, and more broadly that there is no difference between roadside zoos that exploit and mistreat animals and accredited sanctuaries that rescue and provide excellent lifetime care to the animals. Perhaps most pernicious is the overarching implication in ‘Tiger King 1’ that Carole Baskin was involved in the disappearance of her first husband in 1997.”

The Baskins demand that any and all footage of them be removed from the second documentary. Netflix has yet to comment on the lawsuit.

Pop Hunna Fan Interrupts Rolling Loud Set To Perform Rapper’s TikTok Hit

This past weekend was once again a celebration of Rap and Hip Hop as Rolling Loud New York took over. Festival season has come to a close as many are already preparing for the next go-’round in 2022, and this latest Rolling Loud installment had several showstopping moments, including seeing DaBaby return to the festival’s stage thanks to 50 Cent.

Another viral moment didn’t involve a Rap veteran, but instead, it was a rising artist who had a bit of amusing trouble during his performance. Pop Hunna has found success with his Lil Uzi Vert-assisted single “Adderall (Corvette Corvette).” The track took over TikTok with its own dance challenge, so it was only fitting that the Philadelphia rapper perform the song during his set.

However, a fan in the Rolling Loud audience wanted to make sure they got their five seconds of fame and not only jumped on the stage but managed to rip the microphone out of Pop Hunna’s hand. The person yelled for the DJ to start the song over again, adding, “He don’t even know how to do his own song!” Surprisingly, the DJ complied.

After running from the rapper, the unknown man finally turned the microphone over to Hunna. Some thought the moment was hilarious while others believed it was staged because security did not try to stop the person. We’ve previously reported on people trying to get a moment in the spotlight by jumping on stage during shows, only to be confronted with immediate violence as security swarms in to protect artists.

Whatever the case may be for Hunna, he found the moment amusing. Check it out below.
