Dr. Fauci Says Moderna’s COVID-19 Booster Shot Is Likely Being Delayed
Dr. Anthony Fauci revealed on CNN, Sunday night, that Moderna’s anticipated COVID-19 booster shot will not be available the week of September 20 as had been previously announced. He added that, as for Pfizer, “things look like they’re ready to go.”
“I don’t think that is a major issue there, but we would have liked to have seen it happen all together, simultaneously. But ultimately the plan will be implemented, as was put forth,” Fauci told CNN’s Jim Acosta. He added that Moderna could be ready a week or two later.

Fauci also spoke about the prevalence of the Delta variant in the United States: “What we’re observing now – not only here in the United States but in other countries, including Israel and the UK – [is] that the durability of the protection tends to wane, particularly in the context of the Delta variant,” Fauci said
Fauci went on to use the success of the booster shots in Israel as an example of how much good they can do. He says the country is “a month or so” ahead of the U.S. and their booster data shows a “substantial diminution in protection against infection and an unquestionable diminution in the protection against hospitalization.”
“Importantly, their data also show that when you give those boosters you reconstitute, to an even higher level than before, the protection against both infection and hospitalization,” Fauci explained. “The boosters really jack up the response very, very high, and we hope that that response would be durable.”

He added that the Bucs the whole offense is clicking going into the season. Last year, was their first under Brady, and there was no preseason to build chemistry due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We’re miles ahead of what we were last year,” Evans said. “Not just me and his connection, but the whole team—the whole offense. It’s really exciting and hopefully, we can do something really special this year.”

Trick Daddy says that he shot down an invite to do an episode of Verzuz with Boosie Badazz because “that’s my dog.” The legendary Miami rapper discussed the potential Verzuz and more with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN on a recent episode of their podcast, Drink Champs.
“They wanted me to do a Verzuz with Boosie and I was like, ‘Nah.’ Like Boosie, that’s my dog,” Trick Daddy explained on the podcast. “And everybody was like, ‘It’s good for Hip Hop.’ But if I do you in Verzuz, I’m gonna smash your a**. I’m not ‘gon come out there playing because you not ‘gon play with me. And plus Billboard and all the other magazines, they gonna chart the s***. They gonna rate a winner and a loser.”

Trick also spoke about his “Eat a Booty Gang” movement, elaborating that he likes to “get ate out!”
“I’m building the franchise up, so now I’m getting the women to support the Eat a Booty Gang,” he said. “I get ate out.”
Additionally, Trick spoke about his controversial comments on Beyoncé, from June, when he said the legendary singer “can’t sing.”
“They tried to make it something that it wasn’t,” he said. “They didn’t show the part where I said Beyoncé is the number one performer in the world. Anytime you hear a little clip that lasts for a couple seconds, you got to be [suspicious] of that. You got to know what was said before and after. And like I said, we don’t know hot to explain, and we damn sure don’t apologize. Remember, we come from the streets where [you’re not] supposed to apologize.”
