DaniLeigh Posts Up In The Studio With Snoop Dogg: “Stay Tuned”

Aside from the occasional modeling photos or behind the scene videos, DaniLeigh has been relatively quiet lately. The singer seems to have retreated from posting too often following several controversies that sparked online, but it looks as if her music career is still on track. Her relationship with DaBaby seemed solid before there was a back and forth with his MeMe, one of the mothers of his children, and after persevering, DaniLeigh was hit with the “Yellow Bone” scandal where she faced accusations of colorism.

The Movie artist’s personal life seemed to overshadow her applauded visual album and for months now, she’s faced speculation that she’s with child. Adding fuel to the rumors is the fact that DaniLeigh hasn’t been photographed without somehow obstructing the view of her belly, and while she hasn’t confirmed or denied that she’s pregnant, the public has run with the story.

On Monday (June 14), DaniLeigh resurfaced on Instagram to share a few snapshots of herself in the studio with Snoop Dogg. “You can’t even see ur future I’m choosing mine [fingers crossed emoji],” she wrote in the caption. “Pressed play on uncle snoop yesterday [white heart emoji] stay tuned.”

Meanwhile, on her Instagram Story, DaniLeigh is cleaning house. She’s offering up her furniture, which includes a shoe closet and two couches, to her followers. Months ago she purchased a home in the Dominican Republic so she may be making a move, or making room for new decor. Check out a few posts below and swipe to see images with Snoop.

50 Cent Is Excited To Hear Big Meech’s Sentence Got Reduced, Hypes “BMF” Series

There is apparent movement on Big Meech’s case and 50 Cent is celebrating the good news. The Black Mafia Family co-founder was instrumental in the entertainment industry, specifically Hip Hop, but the company soon found itself under the eye of federal authorities. There were accusations then charges related to drug trafficking and criminal enterprises, and in 2007, both Demetrius “Meech” Flenory and his brother Terry “Southwest T” Flenory were sentenced to 30 years in prison for allegedly leading a nationwide cocaine distribution ring.

The controversial life of Big Meech has been told and retold over the years, but 50 Cent will be at the helm of the BMF series set to run on Starz. Snoop Dogg, La La Anthony, and Empire’s Serayah are all reportedly set to star in the series, and Fif got a rejuvenating jolt of inspiration after AllHipHop shared their exclusive news regarding Meech’s case.

According to the outlet, Big Meech’s 360 months prison sentence was reduced to 324 months, cutting three years off of his time. “Big Meech met the criteria for a sentence reduction USSG amendments 782 and 788, which revised the drug quantity and chemical quantity tables for all drug offenses,” AllHipHop reported.

They also stated that Meech has been improving while behind bars as he continues his education while attending parenting classes and counseling sessions. 50 Cent reposted a screenshot of the article’s title and shared his enthusiasm in the caption. “YES [grin emoji] Now you know this BMF show is gonna [bomb emoji][smoke emoji]Blow everything off the f*cking TV, the real sh*t different ! [stoplight emoji] Green Light Gang.”

This sentence reduction means that Meech could be coming home in seven years. Check out Fif’s post below.

He’s never hesitated in sharing his adoration for the man who helped free him from jail, and Kodak Black is continuing his lauding of former President Donald Trump. The Florida rapper has been eternally grateful for the inclusion and ever since, Kodak has openly praised the former president.

Days ago, Kodak celebrated his birthday in style with a helicopter and a Tesla truck—both custom painted in purple and gold in tribute to the late Kobe Bryant. Monday (June 14) marked Trump’s 75th birthday, so Kodak made sure to give his Gemini brother a social media shout-out.

Saweetie Is Inspired By Tupac: “[He] Made You Proud To Be A Black Woman”

We’re inching closer to the release of Pretty B*tch Music and after returning from her artist boot camp, Saweetie is back in action. The Bay Area rapper recently shared her Pretty Summer Playlist: Season 1 after assisting Gwen Stefani on her “Slow Clap” single, and as she ducks and dodges her Quavo-centered controversies, Saweetie is adding her voice to Goat Talk—that is, chatting it up with Complex about her favorites in the industry.

When naming their top rappers, many artists usually stay within the geographical locations of where they grew up and Saweetie didn’t stray from the norm.

“I don’t know, that’s hard. When it comes to like, mood, do I need to be inspired, do I feel like a bad b*tch, do I…what am I doing?” she prefaced. “I feel like that really changes the perspective of the ‘Greatest Rapper of All Time.’ ‘Cause I’m a mood girl.” Even so, Saweetie found her answer. “For inspiration, I’m saying Tupac.”

“My mom, my dad would play him almost every day, morning, afternoon, and night,” she said of the West Coast icon. “And I love that he really loved women and made you proud to be a Black woman. He made you proud to be in your skin. And I think people like that is really important, especially for a group that is constantly oppressed in experiences, injustices. He made you feel like, it may not be okay right now, but it’s gonna be alright later.”

Check out more from Saweetie below as she names her favorite actor, television show, meal, car, mall store—and see how many times she includes herself in the GOAT conversation.

Red Hot Chili Pepper Bassist Flea Thinks The Westminster Dog Show Results Are Rigged

Maybe we’ve all been inside too long. Maybe we don’t know how to socialize anymore so we project our fears and fantasies onto a dog show. Or maybe, just maybe, the Westminster Dog Show would’ve captured our hearts and minds even without the ongoing 15-month lockdown that’s turned our brains into mush!

Who knows, at this point, but the fact remains, the Westminster Dog Show might as well be the Super Bowl given the way it’s influenced some of the best minds of my generation to Tweet unhinged takes. And not even famous musicians are safe from this canine spectacle — Red Hot Chili Peppers’ founding member and bassist, Flea, is getting in on the conspiracy theories in a big way.

You see, Flea doesn’t think the winner of the event was chosen fairly. No, not at all. And according to The New York Times, he isn’t the only one doubling down on this hypothesis, either. “Shocked and grossed that they gave best in show to that little ass pekinese,” the bassist wrote on Twitter earlier today. “The judge had a crush on its handler im sure of it.”

Fans of bigger dogs were afronted at the win, as The Onion so perfectly detailed:

But some people were more than happy to see little Wasabi waddling his way to victory. I’m staying neutral on this one.

Dr. Dre Details Brain Aneurysm & Health Scare: “I’m Feeling Fantastic”

He remains one of the hardest working men in Hip Hop with a legacy that only a select few rappers can compete with. Compton icon Dr. Dre has seen his fair share of controversies, including his current courtroom drama with his ex-wife, Nicole Young, as they attempt to divvy up their assets in their divorce. While emotions were running high as play-by-plays of their split were being reported on daily at the top of the year, news broke that Dre suffered a brain aneurysm.

Fans awaited news regarding the Aftermath mogul’s recovery and within days, Dre was back home. Speculative reports about what caused the health scare ran rampant, and in a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, Dre shed some light on what he learned from his doctors while offering up advice.

“It’s a really weird thing,” he said. “I’ve never had high blood pressure. And I’ve always been a person that has always taken care of my health. But there’s something that happens for some reason with Black men and high blood pressure, and I never saw that coming. But I’m taking care of myself.”

“And I think every Black man should just check that out and make sure things are OK with the blood pressure,” he continued. “And I’m going to move on and, hopefully, live a long and healthy life. I’m feeling fantastic.” During his recovery, Dre sent out a public “thank you” to those who had been supporting him. Check that out below.
