Young Thug is currently going through a very hard time due to his upcoming RICO trial. Overall, everyone in the hip-hop community wants him to be freed, or at least that is what it feels like. Now more than ever, Thugger is getting the support of his peers. Although it has been great to see, his situation is still ongoing, and there is no telling what may happen next. Either way, there is no doubt that people love Young Thug and all of the music he has made over the past few years.
In fact, five years ago today, Young Thug dropped a three-track EP called Hear No Evil. This is a project that seemingly came out of nowhere. However, it was certainly welcomed with open arms. There were some phenomenal tracks on this EP, including the Nicki Minaj-assisted “Anybody.” When you listen to the three tracks on this tape, “Anybody” immediately becomes the standout. That said, we are celebrating the five-year release of the track with a retrospective of sorts.
Young Thug & Nicki Did What They Had To Do
When you put on the track, Young Thug’s prowess when it comes to melodies is immediately apparent. He delivers some of his signature vocal lines over some exciting production. Every single line is incredibly catchy, and his inflections help tell a story. Moreover, Nicki Minaj gives us a fantastic verse that is pretty memorable. Overall, these two combine to create a truly fantastic team. Hopefully, we can get some music from these two in the future.
Subsequently, it remains to be seen what the future holds for Young Thug. However, if there is one thing for certain, he is a pioneer in the rap world. His melodies and vocal styles completely changed the game. The song “Anybody” is an example of this, and we hope fans realize his greatness.
