Twitter Relives ‘He Got Game’

The Spike Lee film follows Allen’s character during one of the biggest decisions of his life. Shuttlesworth (Allen) is choosing which college he will attend to further his basketball career. However, along the way, Washington’s character (Shuttlesworth’s father) is tasked with recruiting his son to a certain school. But the recruiting services of Washington’s character mean more than just getting his son to play for a certain school.

The movie has become a cultural icon and one of the greatest sports movies of all time. Washington delivers in the only way he knows how. While Allen does a great job for an actor whose day job is to put baskets in the hoop. Thank you, Twitter, for the reminder of this film and everything that comes along with it.
