Post Malone fans can breathe easy now that the “White Iverson” rapper just announced that his sixth studio album, “F-1 Trillion,” will be released on August 16. He shared the news on Tuesday with a picture of a sign in Nashville featuring the album’s title and a car-themed logo, captioned, “Sup motherfuckas…F-1 Trillion August 16th.”

Now, what feels like a trend, this forthcoming album release follows Malone’s recent success in country music. Can we just all say “Cowboy Carter” may have opened a lot of doors for artists to cross over? Post has been dabbling even before Beyoncé entered the country chat, but her success has surely made the genre more palatable to cross over artists.

Post Malone has been topping the Billboard Hot 100 with his duet “I Had Some Help” alongside Morgan Wallen. This is Malone’s second No. 1 single of the year, following his feature on Taylor Swift’s “Fortnight” from her Billboard 200-topping album “The Tortured Poets Department.” He also collaborated with Beyoncé on her country track, “Cowboy Carter,” for the duet “Levii’s Jeans.”

ICYMI, Malone performed the album’s second single, “Pour Me a Drink,” with Blake Shelton at CMA Fest’s Spotify House. He also sang with Wallen during Wallen’s headlining set at the Stagecoach festival in April, where Malone made a notable debut with country covers alongside guests like Dwight Yoakam and Brad Paisley.

Variety reported Malone’s covers of George Strait’s “Check Yes or No,” Tim McGraw’s “Don’t Take the Girl,” Brad Paisley’s “I’m Gonna Miss Her,” Toby Keith’s “Who’s Your Daddy,” and more. They praised his performance, stating, “But his emphasis on the 1990s/2000s hits of his childhood and youth (plus Tyler Childers, for good modern measure) would have captivated the crowd even without Dwight Yoakam, Brad Paisley and Sara Evans showing up to seal the deal.”
