Asian Doll & Kash Doll End Beef: “It’s Called Growing Up”

For years, there has been tension in the Doll House. Back in 2018, words were exchanged between Asian Doll and Kash Doll resulting in a beef between the two rappers. Kash reportedly said that Asian Doll, or Asian Da Brat, didn’t like her because of a man. Later, Nick Minaj intervened and attempted to squash the beef before things escalated, but it all took a turn when Asian Doll stated that she was eager to work with Kash Doll and DreamDoll just to “body” them.

Since that time, it has been a fairly silent beef that hasn’t been given much public attention, but that changed on Friday (April 9) evening. Kash and Asian Doll looked to have reunited during a night out and both women celebrated putting their differences behind them. They shared photos of their greetings and embraces on social media and soon, Asian Da Brat was offering up an explanation as to why she decided to put it all behind her.

“It’s called growing up I literally don’t want no drama with nobody [100 emoji],” Asian Doll tweeted. “It was good seeing her tho frfr look how far we came I’m going through to much to be beefing over nothing [100 emoji].” Check out a few tweets and photos below.

Charlie Heat Delivers Impressive “Valentine’s Son” Ft. Sevyn Streeter, Ant Clemons, Twelve’len

His latest R&B compilation album may be named Valentine’s Son, but Charlie Heat doesn’t use all of his time on the records exploring aspects of love. It is true, however, that does exist on this project and quite heavily, but the record is named after his mother, Valentine, and it also touches on aspects of their relationship, as well. Heat is a Grammy-nominated producer with the knack for working with artists like Travis Scott, Pusha T, Madonna, and Kanye West, but it’s always refreshing when he steps onto the music landscape with his own projects at the forefront.

“I’ve always been known for the energy I bring to my beats in Hip Hop, so I wanted to give my fans a different experience with my art through R&B,” said Heat. On Valentine’s Son, he taps artists like Germaine, Fifteenafter, Sevyn Streeter, Ant Clemons, Aria Bléu, Yuma, Twelve’len, and Dougie F to round out the album. Stream Valentine’s Son and let us know what you think.

Black Rob Sends Love To DMX From Hospital, Hip Hop Floods Social Media

As we grieve the loss of DMX, concerns have heightened for former Bad Boy icon Black Rob. The Harlem emcee exploded on the Rap scene in the 1990s as he appeared on tracks alongside his labelmates, but it wasn’t until 2000 that he became a more prominent figure worldwide with the release of his classic hit “Whoa” from his debut album, Life Story.

Last year, Black Rob shared that he was working on Life Story 2, but on Friday (April 9), it wasn’t his music that caught the attention of the Hip Hop world. Rob wanted to share condolences to the loved ones of DMX so a video was taken and shared of the Bad Boy emcee. In it, Rob is seen frail and laying in what looks to be a hospital bed.

“What’s goin’ on. I don’t know, the pain is crazy, man. It’s helping me out though, it’s making me realize I got a lot to go,” Black Rob struggles to say in the video. He was asked about DMX. “I feel everything about X. X was positive. Love to X.”

An update on Black Rob’s health hasn’t been shared with the public. It has been reported, however, that in late 2014 or early 2015, the rapper suffered a mild stroke that was brought on by high blood pressure, but he was said to have recovered. As a result, Rob reportedly adopted a healthier lifestyle that included no more drinking, more exercise, and a better diet.

We send nothing but love, prayers, and positive thoughts to Black Rob and his loved ones. Check out the music video for “Whoa,” Black Rob’s viral video, and a few reactions below.

Tory Lanez Swerved Process Server By Denying His Identity: Report

An alleged altercation at a nightclub back in 2019 is causing grief for Tory Lanez. Love & Hip Hop Miami star Prince, real name Christopher Harty, has accused the Canadian-born artist and his team of allegedly assaulting him while at LIV Nightclub. Prince first launched his lawsuit against Lanez back in September and according to court documents allegedly obtained by Radar Online, Lanez tried to avoid being served.

The outlet claims that a process server made their way to Lanez’s home on March 15 but when he answered the door, he denied being…himself. “Daystar Shemuel Peterson answered the door,” she wrote in the declaration to the court. “I asked if he was Daystar Shemuel Peterson. He asked who I was. I identified myself and informed him of the court documents I had for him.”

He allegedly “said it was not him. He said I would have to come back in the evening to find the person I was looking for and then closed the door. I spoke through the door and stated I would leave the documents by the door.” The process server added that she clearly recognized Lanez. “There are photos of Mr. Peterson on social media which confirm his identity.”

To make matters worse for the singer-rapper, the server also stated that he was “later live on social media wearing the same thing he wore when I served him.” Radar Online reported that Prince accused Lanez in documents of “verbally antagonized HARTY and attempted to engage HARTY in a verbal confrontation” that he allegedly instigated. Prince added that Lanez “escalated his verbal antagonization of HARTY but then began to swing at HARTY and actually punched HARTY with a closed fist.”

The reality star claims that he suffered “blunt force trauma to his head, neck, chest, and back, and suffered from multiple contusions and bruises to his body” and is seeking an undisclosed amount in damages. Lanez’s case involving Megan Thee Stallion is still pending..

Keri Hilson Names Her Two Songs She’s Most Proud Of, Talks Love Of Acting

Just ahead of the holidays last year, Keri Hilson created a tizzy on social media when she shared an image of herself with a baby bump. It was quickly realized that the pop-R&B singer was working on a film set, but still, the picture caused mayhem as few believed she was actually with child. At the time, Hilson was reportedly working on Lust: A Deadly Sins Story, and with the film’s premiere arriving tomorrow (April 10) evening on Lifetime, Hilson is chatting about her new love of acting.

“My goals were just to make artist profitable, get out of the hobby phase and make a living,” Hilson told YouKnowIGotSoul of her aspirations early in her music career. “My goal was to not be at a desk. I worked at a mortgage company and I hated that job. It was so mundane. I became a waitress after that and it was a little more comfortable. I wanted to make music a living. That was my one dream.”

As her career grew, her goals shifted, and during the discussion, Hilson revealed the songs that she takes the most pride in. “I’m proud of ‘Knock You Down’ and ‘Pretty Girl Rock,'” she said. “I’m proud of almost everything that has released because I put a lot into my craft. I would say those two. Obviously, they were two of the more successful records of mine.” However, she’s found a new passion for the big and small screens.

“You can’t fake that stuff, people will know. I had to really dig to authentically give that performance,” Hilson added of her latest Lifetime role. “This was the most challenging role I had ever done. I’m really proud of my performance. I look forward to seeing how I grow with the craft.” Still though, no word on when we can expect new music after revealing in 2019 that she’s been in the studio “working [her] ass off.” Check out the trailer for Lust: A Deadly Sins Story below.

DMX Remembered As A “Very Deep, Very Poetic” Soul By Dame Dash

There has been an outpouring of condolences and fond memories shared about DMX today. It’s bittersweet considering that we’re celebrating him on the date of his death, but his friends, fans, and family members are remembering the beloved emcee and the light he brought to the culture. Recently, Funk Flex suggested that people in the industry often wait to use moments such as these for clout as they post pictures and sad captions. He called out the industry for calling DMX a friend but not checking in on him over the years.

Dame Dash seems to disagree with this stance. “I don’t care what other people do in terms of posting pictures. I’m not judging other people. They gonna do what they do,” the media mogul reportedly said. “That s–t got nothing to do with me. The only thing I’m thinking about right now is being positive and sending positive energy.”

“I’m not gonna take the focus off the love that I have for my brother,” Dame continued. “I just know how much this must hurt the Ruff Ryders and Swizz [Beatz]. It just hurts to think about life. Everybody dies, everybody has pain; it is just a matter of when. I just did not expect it to be right now, not in this way.”

Dash called DMX a “very deep, very poetic” man who was a “lion… Cut from a certain cloth.” He added, “This one hurt. It was like, before the music, we found a brotherhood. It was a competitive one but we always been brothers. DMX would have rap battles on pool tables. After the rap battles, he would perform right after that and head to the [Madison Square] Garden for the ‘Hard Knock Life’ tour.”

“It’s just not the way we want to see this, you know what I mean?” Rest in Peace to Earl Simmons.

Dr. Dre’s Alleged Mistresses Will Testify In Tense Divorce: Report

Days after reportedly filing court documents denying physically abusing his wife, Dr. Dre’s billion-dollar divorce is back in headlines. Ever since Dre and Nicole Young decided to split last year, their contentious breakup has been the talk of pop culture. The pair were married for two and a half decades and share children together, and while they remained relatively unproblematic throughout their relationship, their divorce has been drama-filled from the get-go.

A major staple in this split is that Nicole accuses the Aftermath mogul of carrying on multiple affairs. It seems that the women Dr. Dre allegedly cheated on his wife with will be called to testify in their divorce case, according to a recent report made by Page Six.

It’s reported that Jillian Speer, Kili Anderson, and Crystal Rogers have done their bests to keep their names away from this scandal, but a recent ruling states that Nicole will be permitted to be deposed. “Young’s side is seeking to learn about the alleged relationships, and whether Dre lavished the women with money and gifts during the marriage,” reports the outlet. It was also reportedly ruled that Dr. Dre and each of the three women were tacked with $2,500 in sanctions each due to “their resistance to this request” being “without substantiation.”

It’s stated that Dre has denied having an affair with former model Anderson, but it’s unclear if he’s gone on record about the remaining two women.

Roxanne Shante Cries As She Speaks About Abuse DMX Endured

You can’t do just about anything today without coming across a memory of DMX. The beloved emcee, father, son, partner, and friend passed away earlier today and since the moment the news of his death was shared, millions of posts have been created, reposted, tweeted, “liked,” and given attention. DMX was an artist unlike any other in the studio and in the streets, and people have taken to social media to reflect on standout moments from his career.

Rap legend Roxanne Shante spoke on the passing of her friend in a tearful video she posted online. In it, she talked about the physical and emotional abuse that DMX endured as a child after his mother abandoned him and how it affected the man he grew up to become. “This is one of the most serious things that I’ve ever said, maybe even one of the most emotional and personal things that I’ve ever said,” she began.

“It has to do with DMX and what he had went through,” she continued. “This is not what somebody told me, this is what he said to me. When he was younger, his mom had took him to a children’s home and said that they was just going to visit and she left him there. She took him there and she left him there.”

Shante added that as a child, DMX was “too little to defend himself” and “too little to take care of himself,” but he did it anyway. “I know what it’s like to run the streets, sleep on the train, sleep in the hallways, tried to sleep at friend’s houses. Have people say you can come stay at they house and they brothers would come try and mess with you or even they fathers and uncles and sh*t.”

“As soon as me and DMX came in contact with each other, as soon as me and Earl came in contact with each other, we already knew what was done to that spirit,” Roxane Shante said through tears. “It makes you overly aggressive. It makes you seem angry to people. It makes you seem mad at people. So, people try to find whatever they can in order to overcome that.”

Cupcakke Claims Her ‘Deepthroat’ Track Influenced Today’s Female Rappers And Some Fans Strongly Disagree

Cupcakke is not someone who’s unfamiliar with a viral moment or two. If fact, the rapper caught the attention of the music world when she released her remix of 50 Cent’s “How To Rob” at the end of last year. The updated take detailed the varying ways she would rob a number of popular rappers. Fast-forward a few months and Cupcakke once again ruffled some feathers on social media, but it wasn’t so much in her favor.

She took to Twitter to share her opinions on one of her most popular songs. “‘Deepthroat’ paved the way for you hoes to talk how y’all talk,” she said about the 2015 song from her Cum Cake project. “Y’all hoes use to be scared to even say y’all sucked dick before Deepthroat came out . To this day it’s the blue print & is god creation to mankind’ now.”

She added, “Stop tryna play me like I ain’t open doors for the girls.” In a second now-deleted tweet Cupcakke added, “& yes lil Kim talked about sex … but she Never done it to the level I took it to , she talked bout sex & was reserved with it . I Violated this sh*t to a whole other degreee and that came out LIL KIM Mouth . She said it with her own tongue I’m the nastiest with this sh*t .”

The claim did not land too well with some fans as many of them reminded her of the female rappers that arrived before her including Nicki Minaj, Lil Kim, and Trina. One Twitter user wrote, “Trina wasn’t rapping about f*cking 5 or 6 best friends, taking *ck in the ass, choking on d*ck and licking p*ssy to be disrespected by Cupcakke.”

You can read Cupcakke’s initial comments above and more responses from fans below.

50 Cent Reacts To Rumors That Diddy Is Dating His BM Daphne Joy

They’re two of the biggest Hip Hop moguls in the world and throughout the years, there has been gossip about varying tiffs between 50 Cent and Diddy. Whether it was over vodka brands or allegations that Diddy was indebted to the Black Mafia Family, these two have made headlines for over a decade. Both megastars have come forward to say that they don’t have any issues with the other regardless of what tabloids and gossip sites may state.

Once again, Diddy and Fif’s relationship was called into question after a few paparazzi photos surfaced this week. They show Diddy spending time with Daphne Joy, the mother of 50 Cent’s youngest son, eight-year-old Sire Jackson. After it began to circulate that Fif was upset about Puff and Daphne potentially sparking a romance, the Power executive shared a photo of the rumored couple and set the record straight.

“[Eyeballs emoji] Nah me and puff fight over business sh*t,” wrote Fif. “If he like the girl, he like the girl [eyeballs emoji] I don’t give a f*ck !” While 50 Cent reportedly spent the holidays with Daphne and Sire, the rapper has been happily in a relationship with girlfriend Jamira Haines since 2019. Check out his post below.
