6ix9ine Clowns Lil Reese After He Admits His GF Beat Him Up

Controversial Brooklyn rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine has been creeping back into everyday relevance with his disrespectful musings on social media, including rude messages for Lil Durk, Meek Mill, and the late King Von. In addition to his disparaging remarks, 6ix9ine has also been releasing new music, passing 31 million views for his new music video “ZAZA”.

One of the rappers that have drawn the ire of Tekashi for years has been Chicago stand-out Lil Reese, who has consistently taken issue with the loud-mouthed troll. Recently getting into a heated exchange with the rapper on Instagram Live, Lil Reese shifted gears by changing the subject, tweeting about a fight he had with his girlfriend. Unfortunately, 6ix9ine found a way to get involved.

“Lol I got knots on my head my girl just literally beat me up had me ballin up I say this my first time gettin beat up,” wrote the Grim Reaper on Twitter. Known for making fun of the rapper and the alleged video of him getting jumped and soiling himself, 6ix9ine took aim at Reese Money.

“Someone said first time off camera,” wrote 6ix9ine in the comments after his best friend DJ Akademiks posted the tweet on his page.

The comment has racked up over 14,000 likes, meaning people are still very much entertained by his predictable antics. While people love to claim that they don’t support 6ix9ine, the 31 million views on his video and consistent engagement on social media seemingly signal otherwise.

Are you team 6ix9ine or team Reese?

Ice-T Remembers Rush Limbaugh As “A Racist Piece Of Sh*t”

Soon after celebrating his 63rd birthdayWest Coast legend icon Ice-T has decided to share his final thoughts on Rush Limbaugh, roughly a week after his death. On Wednesday, February 17, the conservative radio personality passed away at the age of 70 after a year-long fight with lung cancer. Limbaugh — known for his controversial stances on race, the LGBTQ+ community, white privilege, and more — and his legacy was celebrated by many conservatives following his passing, but others, like Ice-T, are remembering the contentious remarks that Limbaugh was known for making.

Yesterday, Hip-Hop’s Original Gangsta went through his Twitter archives and brought back a nearly nine-year-old tweet in light of Limbaugh’s passing. The Law & Order: Special Victims Unit veteran simply wrote, “Bring that Tweet Back..” as he quoted a 2012 tweet that read, “Rush Limbaugh said he was impressed I knew the word ‘tyranny’… He’s a racist piece of shit.”

Almost a full decade later, it’s clear that Ice-T is keeping the same energy that he has always had towards Limbaugh, but in Hip-Hop culture, name-dropping and talking down about the dead isn’t typically a good look. What are your thoughts on Ice-T’s final statement regarding the late Rush Limbaugh?

Wack 100 Salutes Vanessa Bryant For Meek Mill Response

Wack 100 has taken issue with Meek Mill’s moves over the last few weeks, calling out the Philadelphia rapper for the way he handled his in-person verbal altercation with Tekashi 6ix9ine, and then picking him apart for his leaked lyrics about Kobe Bryant’s death. “And if I ever lack I’m goin’ out with my chopper, it be another Kobe,” rapped Meek on a song with Lil Baby, which remains unreleased.

The bar was deemed “disrespectful” and “insensitive” in a response by Vanessa Bryant, Kobe’s widow, who claimed that she had never heard Meek’s music before but knows that he can “do better”. Wack 100, The Game and Blueface’s manager, was among the thousands of people calling out Meek for uttering the lyric, saying, “Some metaphors SHOULD not be used. Pretenders struggle to pretend when it’s not authentic — 1 man don’t speak for #Philli.”

After reading through Vanessa’s response to Meek, Wack 100 took to Instagram to salute her for speaking up. “Women with a voice #Salute,” he wrote on his post, sharing her comments on his main feed.

Meek Mill claims that he reached out to Vanessa privately and extended his sincere apology. However, on social media, he’s been egging on the situation by writing, “I’m going back savage in this sh*t, f*ck ya feelings!”

Do you think Meek was wrong to come with a bar about Kobe’s passing? On Twitter, people have been discussing a similar line that Pooh Shiesty has rapped, calling out the rising rapper from Memphis for his “Main Slime” bars. “I’m in LA, you gon’ chill with Kobe if we get into it,” he says on the song. Is Meek’s line really that much worse?

Dr. Dre Will Appear On Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Too Short & E-40’s Supergroup Project

A few legends in the Rap game have joined forces to form a supergroup, and they’re readying a project that Hip Hop fans are excited to hear. Shortly after they appeared on Verzuz together, Too $hort and E-40 announced that they, along with Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube, had formed a sort of California-centered supergroup for the culture. Now, we’re receiving a bit more information about what to expect—including a look from Dr. Dre.

The Bay Area icons recently spoke about the group and revealed that Dr. Dre would be making an appearance on the project. “Dre is on there, man,” $hort told HipHopDX. “He’s on there. Snoop got him on there. Dre is on there. That’s Snoop’s guy. That’s Ice Cube’s guy. They shot a big movie together. He’s on there. Ain’t no doubt about it. You don’t even got to ask him.”

“Definitely on there. Shout out to Dr. Dre,” added E-40. Too $hort chimed in. “He already did his part. It’s already certified. He’s on the project.” With so many hitmakers sharing the stage one could assume that ego can get in the way, but it seems that everyone is getting along just fine. There was even a moment where Ice Cube was told that he needed to pull back on one of the tracks, but Cube put his foot down.

“We told Ice Cube on one song, ‘Bro, you just went too hard, too hard,’ and he waited about a couple hours and then he hit back and said, ‘I’m not changing sh*t,'” said Short Dog. E-40 confirmed the story and added, “He did! We was like, ‘F*ck it.’ Me and $hort and Snoop, we just … even Snoop say, ‘You know me, dog. I’m the easiest. You know me. I’m the baby of the bunch. I’m out of it.’ We was like, ‘All right. That is Ice Cube. F*ck it. Let him do what he do.’ We ain’t trying to water down sh*t. He going hard, too. Everybody going hard. We going hard on that b*tch, just jam.”

We’ve heard much more about Dr. Dre since the megaproducer suffered a frightening brain aneurysm last month. Dre has shared images of himself in the studio and a snippet of a track quickly circulated online where he is heard rapping about the billion-dollar divorce from his wife with a few scathing bars. Check out Too $hort and E-40’s interview below.

Claudia Jordan Recalls Nicki Minaj & Meek Mill Run-In: “He’s Kind Of Impulsive”

Between the Tekashi 6ix9ine drama and coming under social media fire over that Kobe Bryant lyric, Meek Mill has been a topic of several conversations within the last week. The Philadelphia rapper seems to be taking viral hits from all sides, and while he’s doing his best to calm those fires and get back to promoting his music, controversy just seems to follow. Actress, reality star, and Fox Soul host Claudia Jordan was paying attention to the unfolding spectacle involving the rapper and took to her show to share a years-old memory of Meek that left her feeling as if he is “impulsive.”

“I seen him one time out in a restaurant with Nicki Minaj. This was back in the day, right after I did Housewives,” she began. After trying to remember exactly where she saw the former couple, Jordan settled on recalling that it was a Jamaican restaurant in New York. “She was super friendly to me… Meek got upset about someone trying to take a picture of them in the restaurant. But I’m like, it’s Nicki Minaj, the biggest rapper of all time at the time, and Meek Mill. They’re a hot celebrity Rap couple and of course [people] are gonna try to take a picture.”

“And he like, made a scene. I remember feeling kinda bad for Nicki,” Jordan continued. “Poor Nicki. She was trying to control her guy, like, ‘Just chill, just chill.’ And he was like, “I seen you…!’ And we were one table over. It was super uncomfortable. I think, maybe, he has emotional reactions to things. I think he’s kind of impulsive. I think he says things and thinks about it later. I don’t know.”

DaBaby May Be “Studying” For Role In 50 Cent, Kenya Barris Netflix Series

There are new rumors about DaBaby afloat, and no, it doesn’t have to do with any romances or legal troubles. In recent months, there has been plenty of news about the Blame it on Baby rapper as we’ve reported on stories involving his short-lived romance with DaniLeigh, his wordplay with a Jojo Siwa lyric, and most recently, accusations that he assaulted the owner of a property he was renting. All the while, the North Carolina-bred rapper has been consistently releasing new music whether it be his own projects or collaborations with his fellow artists, and some believe he may be partnering with 50 Cent and Kenya Barris on their new television series.

The big announcement regarding Fif and Barris’s The 50th Law Netflix series was recently shared, and of course, the Power mogul has been posting about it on his Instagram page. However, all it took was one word and a few emojis for DaBaby to steal the attention after he slid in 50 Cent’s comments on his The 50th Law post.

“Studying,” the rapper wrote along with eyeball emojis. The short, enigmatic remark caused a stir as people began to ask if DaBaby was studying for a role in the series, or just studying how Fif is making moves in Hollywood. We’ll have to wait to learn what the answer is, but 50 Cent’s projects are known for casting artists and musicians like Mary J. Blige, Method Man, Rotimi, and more.

Not everyone was enthusiastic about DaBaby taking his shot at the small screen and those detractors made their voices heard. Check out the post below and let us know if you can see the rapper starring in a series.
