Both Kyrie Irving and Dennis Schroder were ejected during the Los Angeles Lakers‘ 126-101 rout over the Brooklyn Nets, Saturday night. The two point guards came to blows with 9 minutes, 41 seconds remaining in the third quarter when they exchanged tense words following a foul call on Irving.
After the heated moment, the refs gave out a double technical. When the pair continued to fire off insults at each other, they were both issued second technical fouls, resulting in automatic ejections.
“I think it was unnecessary,” Schroder said after the game. “It’s just unfortunate that I left my team out there by their self. And I mean, I don’t even know what I did; but I got kicked out, and I apologize for that just to my teammates.”
The pool report following the game explained the ejection decision saying, “When Irving couldn’t stop yelling at Schroder, he was then assessed his second technical foul and ejected.”
For Schroder, it was waving goodbye to Irving that earned him the final technical. The refs described the move as a taunt.
The Lakers were able to win without Schroder as well as their stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis, who are both out with injury.

Bad Bunny’s highly anticipated matchup with The Miz at WrestleMania 37 has finally gone down, and it was not a disapointment.
Bunny entered the arena in extravagant fashion, riding atop a semi-truck while fireworks exploded in the background. The rapper/singer put on a show throughout the fight, connecting on a number of impressive moves and leaving the audience in awe.
Miz spoke with Uproxx, earlier this week, about how much of a massive fan Bunny is of the WWE:
“He loves WWE. He’s a huge, huge fan and he wanted to train. So I guess he’s been training the past couple of months and from what I’ve heard in the locker room, I don’t think any other celebrity has done the work he is doing. He literally came to a WWE ring and trained after winning a Grammy. He went to the Grammy’s, did a performance and then came to WWE ring the next day to train. This guy is dedicated and he’s hardworking.”
Bunny showed his fandom earlier this year when he performed “Booker T” at Royal Rumble.
“Performing at the Royal Rumble is a childhood dream come true,” Bad Bunny told Billboard at the time. “I have been a lifelong fan of WWE and I am excited to take the stage and entertain fans around the world.”

After Damian Priest teased starting the match, Bad Bunny took the tag and hopped into the ring to square off with Miz. Bunny had his fair share of ups and downs throughout the match, taking the brunt of the beating from Miz and John Morrison, but showed off his fair share of offense before making the hot tag to Priest.

With Priest in the ring, Bunny stole the show, joining his partner to connect on stereo Falcon Arrows before climbing to the top rope and taking out Miz and Morrison on the outside.

Miz dropped Priest with the Skull-Crushing Finale, but Bunny made the save to keep his team in the match. After getting pulled off the apron by Morrison, Bunny laid him out with a Canadian Destroyer. To close out the match, Priest tagged Bunny in, who landed a flying crossbody on Miz to pin the former WWE champion.

It was clear from the opening bell that Bunny had put in a ton of work to get ready for WrestleMania and the match didn’t disappoint. Here’s what Miz told Uproxx earlier this week about Bunny’s work ethic in the build to ‘Mania.

Twitter says they are not archiving any tweets from the former President of the United States, Donald Trump. The news comes as the National Archives and Records Administration is working to recover and save lost tweets from the now-banned former POTUS.
While Twitter explained to Politico that they will not allow NARA to publish Trump’s tweets on the platform, NARA is still hoping to maintain the posts on the Donald J. Trump Presidential Library website.
“I can confirm that our teams have been working with NARA on the preservation of Tweets from @realDonaldTrump, as is standard with any administration transition and as we’ve done previously. We have a long-standing, collaborative partnership with NARA on a number of issues, including to preserve records in accordance with appropriate laws,” a spokesperson for Twitter said.
“Given that we permanently suspended @realDonaldTrump, the content from the account will not appear on Twitter as it did previously or as archived administration accounts do currently, regardless of how NARA decides to display the data it has preserved,” they continued. “Administration accounts that are archived on the service are accounts that were not in violation of the Twitter Rules.”
Trump was banned from Twitter and numerous other sites following the riot at the Capitol on January 6th.

DMX’s ex-wife Tashera Simmons mourned the loss of the late rapper on Instagram, Saturday, on her 50th birthday. Simmons and X married in 1998 and filed for divorce in 2012.
“Happy 50th birthday to me. With much prayer, pulling. Crying and a roller coaster of emotions. I couldn’t bring myself to just celebrate and close the last 50yrs of my life with out celebrating the life of one of thee most important person in the world to me, my Ex-husband,” she wrote in the caption of her video.
The former couple share four children: Xavier, Tacoma, Praise Mary Ella, and Sean.

Los Angeles Lakers stars Anthony Davis and LeBron James are set to be re-evaluated by team doctors this week and sources tell ESPN that the two All-Stars will likely return in two and three weeks respectively. The team has fallen from No. 2 to No. 5 in the Western Conference standings since losing both starters.
Davis has been out of the Lakers’ lineup since out since Feb. 14 with a calf strain and tendinosis in his right leg. He’s currently averaging 22.5 points, 8.4 rebounds, 1.8 blocks, and 1.3 steals per game for the reigning NBA champions.
James, who was in the midst of an MVP caliber season, suffered a high right ankle sprain after colliding with Solomon Hill back in March.
The duo’s teammate, Jared Dudley, recently gave an update on how Davis is coming along.
“AD is coming along, he’s on the court and doing definitely his little workouts, his calves,” Dudley said in a recent interview. “I’m in the weight room with him. He’s gonna be getting on the floor more this week, he’s gonna do about 30 minutes non-stop. He’s gonna get to playing here shortly and so give him a couple more weeks.”
The playoffs are set to begin on May 22.
