Ari Fletcher Responds To Criticism About Her Drinking At Son’s 3rd Birthday Party

Ari Fletcher and G Herbo’s son Yosohn recently turned three years old, and to celebrate the occasion, the former couple threw him a huge birthday bash over the weekend. Among the several people who were in attendance was G Herbo’s fiancé Taina Williams, with whom the rapper is expecting his second son. Taina Williams recently denied rumors that the couple was already dating while G Herbo was still with Ari back in 2018, and at the party, both Taina and Ari didn’t seem to have any hostility toward her.

With the lack of drama on that front, fans managed to still find an issue with Yosohn’s party, as they turned their attention to Ari drinking a Colt 45 while at a children’s party.

As seen above and in many other videos floating around the internet, Ari Fletcher was enjoying an alcoholic beverage during Yosohn’s party, and while some people may view that as normal behavior, several fans took an issue with Ari having alcohol at a three-year-old’s party. After catching wind of the criticisms, Ari took to Twitter to clear the air about her decision to drink at Yosohn’s party, revealing that she wasn’t the only person at the birthday bash who was having drinks.

“People mad I had liquor at my son party? I had a whole bar,” she wrote in a recent tweet. “We had fire shots, mixed drinks, ghetto drinks out of noodle cups… b*tch you name it and I had it in that b*tch. One thing about it… I’m gone have me a drink… f*ck y’all!”

Judging by her statement, Ari Fletcher is apparently unbothered with the criticism and doesn’t see an issue with having alcohol available at a child’s birthday party. Do you agree with her on this one?

King Von’s Sister Comments On Quando Rondo’s Interview With Angela Yee

If you could get through both parts of Quando Rondo’s latest interview with Angela Yee, where the Georgia-based rapper annoyingly refers to The Breakfast Club co-host as “ma’am” and dances around in circles every time he’s asked a direct question about what happened on the night of November 6, 2020, then you’re up-to-date on the latest involving Quando’s response to King Von’s fatal shooting. On that night, Quando says that his team went to the Atlanta-area hookah lounge, where he remained in his car and slept. Upon witnessing a group of people walking toward him in the parking lot, Quando says he let the gathering pass by but when they got closer, King Von allegedly punched him right in the face.

According to Quando, he didn’t know that it was King Von that punched him until the next day. The rapper defended himself and his story during his multiple-part interview with Angela Yee, and we’re finally hearing from somebody close to Von about all of this. The rapper’s sister, influencer Kayla B, commented on the topic on Tuesday night on Twitter.

“Y’all might as well go talk 2 the police talking in these interviews,” wrote Kayla following the release of the second part of Quando’s talk with Yee. While she doesn’t mention any names, it’s pretty obvious that she’s referring to Quando here. People are commenting on her post, reminding her that mere days after Von’s death, his manager Track was giving interviews to VladTV

Watch the second part of Quando’s interview below and let us know what you think about it.

Hank Azaria Admits To Overwhelming Apu Guilt

Hank Azaria’s long-running portrayal of The Simpsons character Apu Nahasapeemapetilon, owner of the Kwik-E-Mart and father of eight, came to an end after the actor decided to step away from the controversial character. In the wake of his decision, Azaria has been relatively vocal about feeling overwhelming guilt. So much so that Azaria recently issued an apology to “every Indian person” during an appearance on Dax Shepard and Monica Padman’s Armchair Expert podcast.

Explaining that liquid courage played a role in stoking his initial defiance toward the controversy, Azaria credited sobriety with granting him a renewed sense of clarity. “This was not a two-week process — I needed to educate myself a lot,” he explained. “If I had not gotten sober, I promise you it wouldn’t have taken much wine for me to be in my feelings one night and fire off a tweet that I felt justified in firing off. Some kind of defensive, white-fragile tweet. Boy, was I glad I had a system in place where I could look at this thing.”

“I really do apologize,” he continues. “I know you weren’t asking for that, but it’s important. I apologize for my part in creating that and participating in that. Part of me feels like I need to go to every single Indian person in this country and personally apologize. And sometimes I do. I was speaking at my son’s school…I was talking to the Indian kids there because I wanted to get their input. A 17-year-old — he’s never even seen The Simpsons but knows what Apu means. It’s practically a slur at this point. All he knows is that is how his people are thought of and represented to many people in this country.”

Though it’s clear that Azaria continues to feel the weight of overwhelming guilt, TMZ reports that Hindu American Foundation rep Shereen Bhalla invited the actor to sit down for a conversation, indicating that his willingness to educate himself could go a long way in absolving his inner turmoil. Either way, it’s clear that Azaria feels haunted by his decades-long run as Apu — though some Simpsons fans may take issue with the way the character was ultimately handled.

Daunte Wright’s Aunt Reveals His Personal Connection To George Floyd

Daunte Wright, a 20-year-old Black man, was killed by a police officer in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota during a traffic stop. The father was reportedly pulled over after the officer noticed an issue with the air fresheners hanging on his rearview mirror. The situation escalated and Officer Kim Potter, a 26-year veteran on the force, shot him fatally. She has said that she believed she was holding her taser.

Protests have taken over across Minneapolis as people are outraged that yet another police shooting has taken the life of a promising young man just ten miles away from where George Floyd was killed. According to Daunte’s aunt Naisha Wright, the 20-year-old actually had a personal connection to George Floyd, revealing that one of his teachers was Floyd’s girlfriend.

“The craziest thing is to find out today that my family has connections to this man, to this family. His girlfriend was a teacher for my nephew,” said Naisha as she was flanked by prominent civil rights attorney Benjamin Crump. “My nephew was 20-years-old, 20-years-old. He was loved. He was ours.”

Naisha added that she hopes Officer Kim Potter, who resigned from the police force on Tuesday, is held to the highest accountability for fatally shooting Daunte. “I hope that they hold her at the highest,” she said. “Because she was the law. Protect and serve. Put her in jail, like they would do any of us.”

Twitter Has A Field Day Reacting To Bobby Shmurda’s Rumored Girlfriend

Since Bobby Shmurda‘s release from prison earlier this year, all eyes have been on the newly freed rapper. While some people, namely Wendy Williams, have been waiting for the “Hot N*gga” artist to slip up and return to prison, several fans and artists have wholly embraced Bobby as he works to regain his footing in the music industry. Following his release, Bobby has yet to release a traditional “First Day Out” song due to alleged label issues, but according to the Brooklyn artist, new music is finally coming this month.

As he gears up to drop new music, it appears that Bobby Smurda has also had some time for some romance, as newly surfaced videos and pictures have led fans to believe that he is dating a mysterious woman named Lilly. Under the TikTok handle @badgirllilly, the woman has shared several accounts of being right by Bobby’s side for practically all of his most notable moments since his release.

Of course, as with any news of a potential superstar coupling, fans are reacting to Bobby’s rumored romance with Lilly in real-time, with many taking to Twitter to voice their opinions about the rapper’s choice in women. Per usual, there are fans who are supportive of the new development in the rapper’s love life, fans who are dragging him, and fans who are taking the moment to get their jokes off. Check out the Twitter reactions below.

Akademiks Announces He’s Returning To Complex

Though he has occasionally ruffled a few feathers over the years, DJ Akademiks has built himself into one of hip-hop media’s most recognizable names. And while a stint as a co-host of Complex’s Everyday Struggle series expanded his profile significantly, Ak announced that he would be parting ways with the network last November.

Given the timing of his departure, which also happened to coincide with the conclusion of Everyday Struggle, many of his critics speculated that Akademiks was fired over his widely publicized feuds with Freddie Gibbs and Chrissy Teigen. While Ak himself voiced displeasure with the way Complex handled the situation — including bestowing an award to Gibbs as he was in the midst of threatening purple nurples with wanton recklessness — it would appear that the fences have been mended.

During a Livestream on his Twitch page last night, Akademiks confirmed that he was indeed planning a return to Complex. “Complex is bringing back my show On The Sticks,” confirms Ak, speaking on his gaming-centric series. “I own the show, Complex licenses it from me. We’ve had a good partnership. Salute to Complex. I’m not one of those people who leave a company — I always told Complex that Everyday Struggle’s my baby, and I leveraged everything to keep Everyday Struggle going. It’s not going anymore, but they hit me up to say ‘hey, we know you love Everyday Struggle, but are you cool to do a season of On The Sticks?”

The relationship between me and Complex is cool, and I love my show On The Sticks, and I’m definitely down to do it,” he continues. “To everyone who said I got fired from Complex, how are they going to explain having a season with the people who fired you. Anyway. I’m not doing it for those people.”

He also expresses interest in reuniting with Joe Budden, outlining his vision on how a possible partnership might occur. Check out Akademiks addressing his future plans in media below, kicking off around the six-minute mark.
