CJ Responds To Bizzy Banks & 22Gz: “Suck My D*ck, Respectfully”

The brewing beef between CJ and rappers Bizzy Banks and 22Gz has intensified. Earlier this week, Banks took to his Instagram Story to call out CJ for allegedly copying his flow and style. Videos clips of Banks’s songs being compared to CJ’s tracks went viral, and it was suggested that the two artists even shared the same lyrics. “That CJ n*gga need to give me my credit no cap,” wrote Banks on his Instagram Story. “N*gga jacking my lingo & flow I’m tired of not getting the recognition I deserve. I started this new wave of drill rap let’s talk about it.”

Last month, 22Gz shared a similar message and added that CJ gave him “6ix9ine vibes.” Recently, CJ returned with a scathing response on Instagram Live.

“I will really beat the sh*t out of one of y’all n*ggas, no cap,” the rapper said in the video. “And I don’t really like doing this because we all from the town, we all from New York, you know what I’m sayin’? But, at the end of the day, them n*ggas mentioned my name first. So, when I make my little songs and I make my little comments and sh*t, it’s a problem, right?” CJ laughed. “Listen, them n*ggas could both suck my d*ck, respectfully, and I’ll say it again, and I’mma keep saying it. Y’all n*ggas can’t stand a chance against me.”

The New York artist has been quickly climbing his way up the ladder in the Rap game. In less than a year, CJ has stormed radio stations and social media timelines thanks to his “Whoopty” breakout hit that earned him a Top Ten slot on the Billboard 200 chart. In his Instagram Live, CJ challenged his foes to a boxing bout after flaunting his successes.

Pretty Ricky’s Baby Blue Is Partying A Week After Being Shot: “Back Outside”

Those “thoughts and prayers” for Baby Blue worked because the singer is celebrating by hitting the streets. Just six days ago, news surfaced tate Pretty Ricky singer Baby Blue had been shot during an alleged attempted robbery. With all of the losses in the Rap community recently, fans of the R&B artist sent well wishes and kind thoughts by the thousands on social media. Reports stated that Baby Blue was in critical condition and all anyone could do was wait for an update.

Soon, Blue’s brother, Pretty Ricky singer Spectacular, shared a photo of Blue in the hospital looking as if he was in good spirits. Still, Blue claimed he had to learn how to walk and breathe on his own again. That recovery was quick because he let it be known he’s back in action.

On Instagram, Blue shared a video of himself as he relaxed in what looked to be a nightclub or at a party. The singer grinned as he displayed his grill under pink lights. “Back outside. All Glory to God. #BounceBack,” he wrote in the caption. People couldn’t believe that he was out and about so quickly, especially after saying that he was shot in the lung.

Lil Mosey Pleads Not Guilty To Second-Degree Rape Charges: Report

Last week, a warrant was issued for Lil Mosey’s arrest after authorities claim he missed a scheduled court date. The rapper returned to court recently and received good news when he learned that the warrant would be lifted after his attorney reportedly claimed that Mosey, real name Lathan Echols, hadn’t lived at the address where his court summons was sent to.

Mosey has been hit with a charge of second-degree rape after an accuser came forward with allegations that he, along with his co-defendant, 19-year-old Francisco Prater, had sex with her “while she was incapable of consent by reason of being physically helpless or mentally incapacitated,” states court documents.

According to The Chronicle, the alleged victim told authorities that she attended a party where she admittedly drank alcohol. She stated that she later was inside of a vehicle with Mosey and one of her friends, and it was then that the rapper “pulled his pants down.” She admitted that when she was in the car with Mosey, she agreed to have sex. However, she claims she blacked out not long afterward.

The woman said when she woke up, she was allegedly being assaulted by Mosey and Prater. Mosey’s lawyer has pointed out that the rapper was under the age of 18 when this incident occurred and although prosecutors were aware of the accusation, they “waited 15 months to file charges” until he was legally an adult. Prater also had a warrant issued for his arrest and hasn’t appeared in court.

Lil Mosey’s trial will reportedly begin on July 19.

Conor McGregor Imposter Arrested On Drug Charges In England: Report

There are plenty of lookalikes making big bucks from sharing a similar face as celebrities, but not all of them are arrested for it. Legally, impersonators can earn quite a bit of money pretending to be someone famous, but often, scams are an easier route. Boxing champion and UFC fighter Conor McGregor was going on about his everyday life when he was confronted with the news that there was a man out there scheming while pretending to be him.

According to multiple reports, 34-year-old Mark Nye was arrested back in February on drug charges and investigators discovered he was also impersonating McGregor.

In February, police saw Nye as he was attempting to rid himself of narcotics and cell phones. He was later pulled over and taken into custody. When first asked, Nye lied and told authorities that his name was “Conor,” and when they went through his personal belongings, they were shocked to see he even had business cards that read “McGregor Enterprise.”

Even more baffling is Nye was allegedly running an entire drug operation, but it’s unclear if people truly believed that he was McGregor or one of the fighter’s relatives. The New York Post reported that earlier this month,  Nye “pleaded guilty to possession with the intent to supply class A drugs.”

DJ Boof Misses Nicki Minaj, Tells “Female Artists” To “Step Ya Bars Up”

The Rap game has had a keen eye on women rising through the ranks as there has been an increasing number of ladies making waves in the industry. You can’t go anywhere without hearing about Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, or Cardi B, and women like Young M.A, Mulatto, Chika, Tierra Whack, Bia, Dreezy, Kali, Flo Milli, Rapsody, and several others are staking their claim in the industry. This has prompted conversations within the Rap community about who is the leading voice of this movement, and all comparisons are made to Nicki Minaj.

The Queen rapper’s longtime touring DJ, DJ Boof, decided it was his turn to share a few thoughts about “female [artists].” He wrote on his Instagram Story, “Man…. I miss Nicki just like y’all.”

“Female artist y’all really gotta step ya bars up and start making music.. cuz some of this sh*t Im Hearing is terrible. Just saying.” It isn’t an unfamiliar opinion, as rapper CupcakKe recently shared on Twitter, “Female rap is boring to me right now.” After being criticized over her opinion, CupcakKe returned to double down on her message.

Minaj fans are some of the most dedicated supporters in music, and they don’t believe anyone can come close to being the next Onika Maraj. Check out DJ Boof’s post below and let us know if there is a woman in the Rap landscape that has the chops, and the bars, to be the next huge star.

DJ Khaled’s Upcoming Album, ‘Khaled Khaled,’ Finally Has A Release Date

Last summer, DJ Khaled revealed his 12th album would be titled Khaled Khaled, after his legal first and last name. While a release date was not shared at the time, some expected that it would arrive sooner than later, especially since he’s released an album every year since 2006, with only three exceptions: 2009, 2014, and 2018. Unfortunately, that increased to four when 2020 concluded without the arrival of Khaled Khaled. Luckily the album is now just days away from dropping, namely April 28.

“ALBUM 100% DONE!” he said in one tweet. “ITS TIME (alarm clock emoji) I TOLD MY TEAM LETS PUSH THE BUTTON!” He also shared the cover art. “This my name. This is my legacy. This my COVER. Time to bring MORE LIGHT,” he wrote before teasing something else that would arrive on the same day. “I have a gift for the world. I can’t wait to share it with you. Let’s talk tomorrow, are you available??”

The upcoming album arrives on the heels of three singles: “Greece,” “Popstar,” and “Sunshine (The Light).” The former two include guest verses from Drake while the third features viral up-and-coming producer Amorphous.

Khaled Khaled is out 4/30 via Epic Records.

DDG Thinks Tay-K “Would Be On Drake Level” If He Was Free

A bold statement was made on social media and it gave Drake fans pause. Drizzy is one of the leading forces in the industry and his popularity has only increased as each year moves forward. OVO’s head honcho is being closely watched by a global audience as the entire world is waiting on him to release his anticipated Certified Lover Boy project, and although we’ve received next to nothing in regards to information about the album, music critics are prepared for the record to immediately take the No. 1 position on the charts.

There are new artists who step into the music game every day with the hope of being the next Drake or even surpassing Drizzy’s status, and DDG believes that Tay-K could have held down that position if he wasn’t incarcerated.

“Tay k would be on drake level if that n*gga was free,” DDG tweeted yesterday (April 26). It was a simple message, but it didn’t come as a surprise that social media lit up with responses. Tay-K was recently sentenced to 55 years in prison after he was convicted of murder, and he also was hit with a 30-year and two 13-year sentences for aggravated robbery. The sentences will run concurrently.

Do you agree with DDG? Check out his post, along with a few responses, below.
