6ix9ine Reveals Who He Thinks Is The Most DIsrespectful Rapper Right Now

Many of the biggest records in hip-hop history were written with a level of disrespect to them. It’s a constant that seems to always permeate the depths of the game. In the last few years, we’ve witnessed feuds involving Drake and Meek Mill, Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly, and 6ix9ine with the entire world. Brooklyn-born 6ix9ine is one of the biggest trolls in the genre, taking every opportunity to belittle his fellow rappers on social media. His grasp on the globe has diminished in the last twelve months but he remains one of the most notorious personalities in music.

This weekend, 6ix9ine performed in front of a crowd of 15,000 people in Miami, Florida and on Monday night, he celebrated by hopping onto a live stream with his good friend DJ Akademiks. During the stream, Ak asked 69 who he believes is the current most disrespectful rapper, to which he predictably answered himself. However, when he was asked to consider other stars aside from himself, 6ix9ine said that Quando Rondo takes the cake.

“Disrespectful and really like that? I’d give it to Quando Rondo,” said the rainbow-haired troll. “Quando Rondo said it’s not about who got beat up, it’s about who got turned into ashes. He’s out here in Atlanta, Georgia, the same place where his affiliate caught the murder doing shows. I don’t give a f*ck if it was in front of five people. I don’t give a f*ck if it was in front of one person. He showed up! And he’s alive right now to tell the story. He’s breathing.”

6ix9ine is referring to a concert that Quando Rondo performed over the weekend, which was attended by only fifty people. Quando said this after the show, “Every time I do get a show booked or something, the promoter calling back. ‘Oh, the police station threatening the venue. They saying if something go down I’ma lose my club license. Send my money back, this and that. Can we try this again in a couple months. Time heals everything.’ This ’cause of y’all folks.”

Nipsey Hussle’s Marathon Clothing & PUMA Reveal New Collab

Nipsey Hussle’s legacy has endured through his many cultural contributions, ranging from his deep, Grammy-nominated discography to his The Marathon Clothing company’s collections, released in partnership with PUMA. Now, Hypebeast has confirmed that another new capsule from Marathon and PUMA is on the way, set to be released this coming Friday, May 7th.

The new collection will include a PUMA suede sneaker as well as an additional t-shirt, both of which can be observed right here. The grey suede sneaker features The Marathon Clothing and PUMA’s hybrid logo emblazoned on the heel as well as the insole, a subtle nod to Nip’s legacy. Speaking of subtle, one of the nicest touches finds “Marathon” written on the golden aglets; hardly the most visible, but a welcome detail that really rounds out the sneaker.

As for the shirt, it’s also minimalist in nature. Once again featuring the TMC/PUMA logo at the center, the white tee goes a long way in paying homage to the late Hussle without going overboard with the design. In addition, the tag features a lengthy breakdown of The Marathon Clothing’s intention as a company. Should you be interested in purchasing either the shirt or the sneakers, look for the upcoming collection to hit the PUMA store right here, with the official release date set for this coming Friday. The sneakers are set to be listed at $80 USD, while the t-shirt is listed at $45 USD.

600Breezy Reveals Someone Tried To Kidnap His Baby Brother In Chicago

600Breezy has dealt with his fair share of tragedy in the past year. Back in November, the Chicago rapper lost his fellow South Side rapper and friend King Von after he was gunned down in Atlanta following an altercation with Quando Rondo. Since his death, Breezy has been a champion in making sure Von is well respected in the afterlife, personally inviting Rondo to come square up with him in Chicago.

Luckily, 600Breezy and his family were able to avoid another tragedy recently after a man allegedly attempted to kidnap his younger brother. A video circulating the internet shows the suspect being taken away in handcuffs following a high-speed chase the boy’s sister and father embarked on to catch the alleged abductor who tried to lure the young boy into his vehicle with money.

While speeding down the freeway, the chase caught the attention of nearby officers who pulled over both vehicles, arresting the culprit. “This man just tried to snatch my brother on f****** 59th and King Drew Dr., so y’all can see him if anybody that knows him because that s*** is bogus as hell,” the sister said while on Instagram Live.

“We just got into a high-speed chase and just chased his a** from in front of my grammy house. My brother just left out and he just tried to kidnap him. He just tried to f***** snatch my brother and motherf****** take him soon as he left out the f****** house! I need y’all motherf****** to watch y’all kids out here!”

With tears in her eyes, she expressed her sheer shock and horror at the situation, warning parents to keep a watchful eye over their children. 600Breezy left an emotional comment under the post and left a comment revealing the child was his baby brother.

“That’s my baby brother he tried to snatch,” the rapper’s comment read. “I’m mad as f*** my pops didn’t come outside shooting.” The video concludes with the suspect being placed in the back of a squad car. As of now, there is currently no word on the man’s identity or potential charges he could be facing.

We’ll keep you updated as the story develops.

Kodak Black Talks Dirty To Cardi B’s Sister Hennessy Carolina

Kodak Black is allegedly engaged to rapper Mellow Rackz but he’s also looking to get some action on the side. Judging from his latest post, he’s looking to spend some alone time with Hennessy Carolina, Cardi B’s sister.

Updating his Instagram story, Kodak came through with a spicy message for the socialite. “I Wanna Eat You Till You Pass Out & Die @hennessycarolina,” he wrote on the social media platform, adding a drooling emoji for good measure. Hennessy has not responded to the message yet but we’ll keep you posted if she ever does.

This isn’t the first time that Kodak Black has shown an interest in Hennessy Carolina. In October 2018, he previously told the model that he wanted to take her out on a date. He said he was choosing Cardi’s sister “out of respect” for the rapper and her husband Offset, which must have made Hennessy feel great about herself. He also said that Kim Kardashian was his backup plan.

Do you think Kodak will get a chance with Hennessy Carolina?

Recently, Yak’s name has been all over the news about he entered a guilty plea in his well-documented sexual assault case. The rapper’s charges were diminished and he was sentenced to eighteen months of probation. He savagely reacted to the sentence on Twitter, which you can read about here.

Ari Fletcher Seems Uneasy About Her Son Attending G Herbo & Taina’s Baby Shower

Based on the social media person Ari Fletcher has developed for herself, it’s safe to say she’s a very reactive person. The Instagram model and influencer has long been known for her call it like it is attitude, something that has run her into some social media scuffles and controversies in the past. Seemingly unable to bite her tongue this time around, the former girlfriend of G Herbo and mother to their 3-year-old son Yosohn sent out a few cryptic tweets over the weekend aimed at her ex and his current beau Taina Williams.

The couple hosted a boho chic-themed baby shower over the weekend for their soon-to-be bundle of joy where many of their friends and family were in attendance, including Yosohn. After pictures from the event featuring the toddler posing happily alongside Taina and Herb’s family surfaced online, it seemed as though Ari was not rocking with it.

The adorable shots show the blended family rocking matching outfits and wide smiles. Following the surfacing of the photos, Ari penned in a tweet Monday (May 3), “You give a mf a inch they take a mile. Like not too much on my child, relax!” Footage from the event shows Yosohn being embraced by Taina and Herb’s family, something that may have been overwhelming for the youngster.

While speculative, the influencer’s previously expressed disdain towards having her son with Herb around Taina is very telling. Back in November, she vocalized she would rather Taina not hold her son. “Sweetie please don’t post my son and another girl, remove this,” she wrote on a pop culture page on Instagram at the time.

She added that Taina disclosed to her that Yosohn did not like her, which may very well be another reason for the tweet. Ultimately, it does seem to be a case of a momma bear fiercely protecting her cub.

Calboy Reflects On How His Cousin King Von Inspired Him Before His Death

The hip-hop community continues to mourn the passing of King Von, who succumbed to gunshot wounds on November 6th, 2020 following an altercation with Quando Rondo outside of an Atlanta club. Members of the game and fans of his music alike grieved the loss of the young talent, but for Calboy, the loss of another family member was a feeling he knew all too well.

In an interview last year, the “Miseducation” hitmaker revealed he and King Von were cousins. Before Von’s death, Calboy had suffered the loss of two of his other cousins to drug abuse and gun violence. While certainly traumatic experiences, the rapper explained in a new interview with HipHopDX how they fuel him to make songs that speak on the struggles of street life and being inspired by Von.

“That was a tough situation for me because even though I was successful, and I popped off before Von, I still looked up to him because of how he moved and how he just carried himself and the respect that he earned for himself,” Calboy said.

He went on to explain that while they were cousins, they were not as close as people might think. They began to connect in the same leading up to his murder. “We weren’t that close, we just cousins through family,” he explained to HipHopDX. “But his death definitely messed with my mental, especially after my cousin passed off popping an ecstasy pill and my other cousin got shot in the head.”

Calboy continued, “Now you see Von with his viral moment and I see all the memes and the videos and everybody got their own depiction of what went on. It’s tough just to see everything so I had to turn my phone off for a while and just sit back.”

The deaths of his family members affected Calboy in a major way, partially being the reason he is taking a different, more positive approach with his new music.

DJ Khaled, Lil Wayne, And Jeremih Are ‘Thankful’ For Their Blessings In A Reverent New Video

The rollout for DJ Khaled’s recently released twelfth studio album Khaled Khaled continues today with the video for the album’s opener, the Lil Wayne and Jeremih-featuring “Thankful.” The song, which samples Bobby “Blue” Bland’s 1978 soul single “Ain’t No Love in the Heart of the City.” opens the album with a worshipful, gospel-inflected meditation on the success the three men have experienced over the course of their careers, as well as Jeremih’s recovery from a recent bout of COVID-19.

“Thankful” follows the Jay-Z and Nas-featuring “Sorry Not Sorry” (which also featured a harmonious, undercover appearance from Jay-Z’s wife Beyonce, as “Harmonies By The Hive”) and the dancehall-accented “Where You Come From” featuring Bounty Killer, Buju Banton, and Capleton as the latest single from Khaled Khaled to receive the video treatment — a departure from the video-crazy rollout for Khaled’s last album, Father Of Asahd.

The more measured release strategy seems to be paying off, as Hits Daily Double projects a No. 1 debut looming for Khaled — his third in five years, after Major Key and Grateful. Father Of Asahd debuted at No. 2 in 2019, prompting Khaled to rebuke Billboard for changing its counting rules.
