Duckwrth Is In High Spirits About A New Lover In His Happy-Go-Lucky Video For ‘Make U Go’

Following his 2019 EP, Falling Man, which he described as a “death and rebirth” during an interview with Uproxx, Duckwrth wiped off the debris off himself to start a new chapter in his career. That would turn out to be his 2020 project, SuperGood, an effort that made the fall and rise discussed on his 2019 project, at least somewhat worth it. Now, nearly a year removed from SuperGood, Duckwrth is preparing to share a new project with fans, but not without gracing them with a new video for his latest single, “Make U Go.”

The visual begins with Duckwrth cheerily walking through a park as he sings about a woman in his life and the good moments he hopes to bring to her. The camera soon pans away from him and next appears the woman in question on the screen. Duckwrth later returns to stand by her side while declaring the additional ways he plans to treat her right.

The “Make U Go” video arrives ahead of Duckwrth’s upcoming EP, SuperGood 8. The project will arrive in early September and it’s just a small bit of the music fans can expect from the singer in the coming future. Duckwrth is also slated to appear beside Cordae on “Settle The Score” from the upcoming soundtrack for the Space Jam: A New Legacy film.

You can watch the video for “Make U Go” above.

Cordae is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

DaBaby Proclaims His Next Album Will Go No. 1 While Delivering A Harsh Shot To His Haters

For someone who delivered three albums in a matter of eighteen months, DaBaby is certainly taking his time with his upcoming fourth album. It’s been more than a year since the North Carolina native shared a project with fans, but it looks like all of that is going to change soon.

The rapper took to his Instagram Story to share a very bold update on his upcoming album.

“This will be my third consecutive No. 1 album,” he said which means the project would join 2019’s Kirk and 2020’s Blame It On Baby as the chart-topping albums on his resume. That is, if his prediction is correct. Next, DaBaby took a moment to deliver a stern and harsh message to his haters.

“All you dirty ass dog d*ckriding, hating ass b*tches understand me, when this new one drop, I’ma politely let you motherfu*kers get right back on this d*ck,” he said while laughing. He added, “I’m the best at doing what I do…New album on the way, will be a No. 1 album.”

DaBaby’s message comes a month after he claimed rappers are “scared” to work with him because he’s “the best.” “Best mf rapper & I’m on ALLLAT shit these n****s LIE about,” he declared. “I’m him frfr. If a n**** ain’t tryna work with the real thang he SCARED. The best supposed to compete w/ the best These n****s just TALK like they like dat SHUUUUT UP.”

You can watch DaBaby’s bold proclamation in the video above.

Polo G Explains “Sellin Yo Soul”: Snitches, Clout Chasers, & “Pillow Talk To Hoes”

It’s unclear what prompted Polo G to fire off his recent tweets, but they’ve sparked yet another conversation about alleged secret societies in the entertainment industry. For decades, there have been rumors and stories shared about nefarious clubs and groups that run the industry, and in order to become a global success with all the money and fame one desires, they have to undergo rituals where they turn over their souls.

You can find all sorts of information regarding these theories online, and Polo G stirred the pot with his recent tweets. “I could neva sell my soul I’m none like those guyz,” the rapper wrote. He specified he wasn’t necessarily talking about some agreement with the “devil.”

Last year, Polo surfaced with questions after there were accusations that he’d sold his soul to the devil and it looks as if he’s addressing rumors once again. “Sellin yo soul ain’t necessarily a contract w the devil,” Polo added. “Sellin yo soul is goin against what’s morally right fa your own benefit So when you snitch you sell yo soul, chase clout, pillow talk to hoes, cross somebody u love for money…just movin Weird in general.”

This may just be a nod to Fredo Bang’s upcoming release “Bless His Soul,” a single featuring Polo G that’s slated to drop at the stroke of midnight tonight. We’ll all have to wait and see, but let us know if you agree that “selling your soul” has a variety of meanings.

Blueface Claps Back At Tekashi 6ix9ine: “Kids Hungry Daddy Hungry”

He’s not letting up with his trolling and this time, Tekashi 6ix9ine has his sights set on Blueface. This isn’t the first time the pair of rappers have exchanged words, and on Thursday (July 8), things came to a head after Blueface displayed his new tattoo. Akademiks reposted Blueface’s uploads about his new ink that reads “NYC LUXURY” with the caption stating that the rapper got “his jeweler name on the side of his head.”

6ix9ine jumped in the comments the first opportunity he got. “He definitely owed them money for unpayed jewelry,” he wrote alongside laughing emojis. Later, Blueface responded.

“Kids hungry daddy hungry but you claim [cap emoji] to walk around with ‘so much money’ [cap] that’s a dam shame @akademiks @6ix9ine.” Blueface was speaking about reports that stated 6ix9ine’s biological father was homeless and allegations from Sara Molina that 6ix9ine doesn’t provide for their daughter.

“Stop talkin like you getting money bro you clearly don’t got it.” 6ix9ine shared a video of his own where he is seen at a jewelry store trolling Blueface and in the caption, he added, “One hit wonder problems.” The trolling continued on Blueface’s end as he shared images of Sara Molina’s injuries that she allegedly received from 6ix9ine. The California rapper also posted a video of 6ix9ine admitting to attacking Molina.

This is far from over. Check out a few posts below.

Karrine Steffans Details Alleged Sex Acts With Trey Songz, Michael B. Jordan, & Chris Brown

Just when you thought you’d heard the last of Karrine Steffans and her sexcapades, she’s back with a few more explosive revelations. For decades, Steffans has shared her alleged stories of bedding down entertainers around the globe, many of whom fall in the Hip Hop category. Her memoir Confessions of a Video Vixen has been discussed and documented several times over the years, but it seems there are a few more stories that she’s kept in the vault.

Steffans appeared on The Salon with Lala Milan and made a few allegations. “Trey Songz tried to pee on me for my birthday,” she said before laughing. “I was like, ‘Trey, that’s not how birthdays work.’ It was my 38th birthday.”

She also shared that she allegedly had sex with Michael B. Jordan in a hotel when he was 18. The now 34-year-old actor is happily in love with girlfriend Lori Harvey, and when Steffans was asked about her supposed experience with the star, she seemed unimpressed with the encounter.

“His mother did not like that,” said Steffans  “It was fine… It was alright.” Apparently, Jordan wasn’t the only teen Steffan was bedding down because she also claimed that she slept with Chris Brown when he was 18.

“I hope he was 18,” she stated, adding that he may have been 19. In an alleged interaction with Brown, Steffans said he “took advantage” of her but it wasn’t an encounter that she was upset about. “It wasn’t my idea,” she said. “He snuck up on me.” Steffans recalled she was cleaning her tub while wearing a dress and Brown allegedly snuck up from behind.

“In my defense, he took advantage, but I liked it,” Steffans added. “I didn’t see it coming.” Listen to the episode of The Salon with Lala Milan below.

Spencer Dinwiddie Reveals What He Wants In Free Agency

Spencer Dinwiddie has proven himself to be a solid NBA point guard who can play at a high level whenever he is asked. Unfortunately, this past season he suffered an ACL injury which forced him out of the Brooklyn Nets lineup. Had he been able to stick around, the Nets probably would have gotten past the Milwaukee Bucks as he would have been the team’s point guard for the series. Now, Dinwiddie has opted out of his Nets deal and will officially become a free agent.

While speaking to Sports Illustrated’s Howard Beck, Dinwiddie spoke about his impending free agency and how he has no issue coming back to the Nets, however, it would have to be for the right price. Simply put, Dinwiddie wants to be making upwards of $25 million per year, and he wants something more long-term.

“For all the fans that think like because I opted out like I have to leave or something like that,” Dinwiddie said. “No, this is very much in the Nets hands. You feel me? And I think my full max is five years/$196 million or something like that. And nobody is sitting here saying I’m going to get five years/$196 million so before anybody tries to kill me, nobody is saying that. But the Nets have the ability to do something other people can’t. If the Nets come to the table like that and they’re being aggressive and saying, ‘Hey, we got five years/$125 million for you,’ like I would say, there’s a high likelihood that I go back to the Nets.”

It remains to be seen what the Nets will end up offering Dinwiddie as the team is already loaded with big contracts from Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden. Either way, Dinwiddie will be highly-sought after and we’re sure he will be able to get a big contract.

Ari Lennox Is Fine With Not Releasing Another Album: “I’m Content With My Discography”

She’s celebrated as the First Lady of Dreamville with talent that fans can’t get enough of, but her supporters are worried that she may be bowing out of the industry. We haven’t received a follow-up to Lennox’s impressive debut studio album Shea Butter Baby that was released in 2019, and while Ari has been heard collaborating with several artists since that time, there hasn’t been any news regarding a sophomore project.

On Thursday (July 8), Ari shared a series of tweets that prompted a discussion about fame. “PHO. Ariography. Five Finger Discount. Wrote all that too,” she wrote. “I’m content with my discography. Wether top 40 or not. Don’t care. My heart and Soul is in every single joint that’s out. Even my SoundCloud joints.”

“So until it feels right there simply won’t be no date on another project. So living my life is what I’ll continue doing,” she continued. A fan asked her if it will ever feel right. “Honestly that’s exactly how I feel,” the singer replied. “And honestly what’s the rush to get bigger? I’m already miserable where I’m at.”

“I didn’t even think I deserved to say I’m famous but it’s true to somebody and it’s intense.” Ari also said that she’s proud of Shea Butter Baby and if that’s the only studio album she releases, she’s okay with that. “I think it was perfect and I wrote it.” Check out her tweets below.
