Dr. Anthony Fauci Refuted Nicki Minaj’s Vaccine Side Effect Claims On CNN
Nicki Minaj’s recent claims about a vaccine’s side effects on her cousin’s friend already brought her into conflict with conservative English pundit Piers Morgan and now, they’ve got her at odds with no less an authority than Dr. Anthony Fauci, the US authority on the COVID-19 virus and the government’s response strategy.
During a recent appearance on CNN covering Nicki’s tweet that she’s not vaccinated because she doesn’t trust any of the available vaccines, Fauci said that her anecdote about a friend who experienced some “sexual discomfort” after receiving a vaccine seems less than likely. As host Jake Tapper ticked off Nicki’s bonafides — nearly 180 million combined followers across social media platforms and an intensely loyal (and susceptible) fanbase — he pointed out how vaccinations opponents have already weaponized Nicki’s tweet.
“The answer to that, Jake, is a resounding no” — asked about Nicki Minaj’s tweet regarding her cousin’s friend’s balls, Dr. Fauci says there’s no evidence the Covid vaccines cause reproductive issues pic.twitter.com/2wuqy14fDi
— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) September 14, 2021
“Is there any evidence that the Pfizer, Moderna, or the [Johnson & Johnson] vaccines cause any reproductive issues, in men or women?” he asked. Fauci didn’t hesitate. “The answer to that, Jake, is a resounding no,” he asserted. “There’s no evidence that it happens, nor is there any mechanistic reason to imagine that it would happen.” Then, in response to Tapper’s follow-up wondering how authorities can combat misinformation from powerful stars such as Nicki Minaj, Fauci replied, “It’s very difficult. There is a lot of misinformation, mostly on social media. The only way we know to counter mis- and disinformation is to provide a lot of correct information… These claims may be innocent on her part — I’m not blaming her for anything — but she should be thinking twice about propagating information that really has no basis except a one-off anecdote. That’s not what science is all about.”
T.I. Addresses Allegations, Being Seen As A “Creep,” And His Final Album
It’s been a roller coaster for T.I. of late, as the Atlanta rapper has recently found his reputation under scrutiny following a series of disturbing allegations. Though he attempted to offer his perspective on the controversy with the song “What It’s Come To,” many have been waiting to see how the situation plays out before drawing a firm conclusion.
As it happens, T.I. actually addressed many of the allegations during an interview with the Big Facts Podcast, where hosts Big Bank, DJ Scream and Baby Jade inquired about some of the claims being made about Tip’s character.
Paras Griffin/Getty Images
“Listen man, that shit don’t hurt me,” says Tip, prompting Big Bank to cut straight to the heart of the matter. “What the hell they talking about you drugging hoes n’ shit?” asks Big Bank. “What’s going on with that shit!?”
T.I. shakes his head, adamantly maintaining that “shit didn’t happen.” He continues, explaining that the allegations eventually reached the ears of the feds. “That shit got sent to the feds,” he says. “They sent that shit to GBI. I trust every legal faculty to do their job.” Bank reminds T.I that there was a man leveling accusations against him — “you going crazy, boy!”
Paras Griffin/Getty Images
“To be honest with you bro, stupid people listen to stupid people,” continues Tip. “It’s simple as that. The name of the show is Big Facts. You show me one motherfuckin’ big fact on the subject and we can have this discussion. This shit started January 29th.”
“You go to any superstar’s house or any kind of private gathering, you’re going to sign [an NDA],” he states. “Privacy and anonymity must be held in high regard. That don’t mean nobody doing anything.” When Bank notes that one of the parties involved — Sabrina Peterson — wanted an apology, Tip reacts with a defiant middle finger. “Hey man, I told you before,” he adds. “I know from whence my blessings come, I’m not negotiating with no terrorist. Do your worst.”
In another moment, Tip addresses how people have come to see him as a “creep,” noting that he believed he had earned goodwill through “decades of helping his community.” “Motherfuckers want me to be a creep so fucking bad,” he exclaims. “Where’d that come from? A Peepin-Tom ass muthafucka. An old under-the-bed-sniffin’-socks muthafucka. I ain’t never presented myself as nuthin’ but a playa. I don’t understand where this narrative came from.”

“Let’s take the instance with my daughter Deyjah,” he continues, addressing a moment that many of his critics would likely call exhibit A. “I made a joke, I spoke on something. Granted, I probably shouldn’t have spoke on it, and it probably wasn’t a laughing matter. Only because she didn’t find it funny. How did it go from that to he must be messin with her, he forced her to go?”
“People are a culmination of our experiences,” he says. “Most people have been exposed to creep-ass n***as. Most people had some exposure to a creep, to where they see or hear certain things they expect creep shit. That’s what leads their opinions. No disrespect…I ain’t never had no experience as a child with a creep. I ain’t got no desire to be a creep.”
It’s a passionate response from the Atlanta rapper, though it’s uncertain as to whether or not it will turn the tides of public favor. In any case, T.I. seems determined to keep it moving, maintaining that his upcoming project Kill The King is due to be his last. “I don’t care enough,” he admits. “I just don’t care about the same shit other muthafuckers out there care about…At this point. It did at one time. When I went to prison and came home, I learned what the fuck was important.”
For those interested in hearing T.I. speaking on those topics and more, check out the full episode of the Big Facts Podcast below.
Kehlani Announces New Album “Blue Water Road”
After spending the summer collaborating and hustling cowboys with T-Pain on “I Like Dat” (after T-Pain finally checked his DMs) admitting that, despite her support of the rising cannabis industry and the plant’s benefits, she stopped smoking back in 2018 and an appearance at last night’s Met Gala R&B songstress Kehlani made waves by announcing the title of her new album, Blue Water Road.
Unfortunately, the singer did not include an official release date, only Tweeting that the project would touch down sometime “this winter.” She did, however, release a minute-long album trailer on both Twitter and Instagram.
Craig Barritt/Getty Images
Accompanied by the short message, “welcome to my world,” the trailer features cold visuals of broken clay masks, a dragonfly which calmly lands on Kehlani’s hands before disintegrating and being pulled into the Earth by what look like barbed-wire roots and a large, dark, looming presence which overtakes the singer just before the end of the video. As of now, there is no album art or tracklist to give a better idea of what to expect from Blue Water Road, but if this trailer is a taste of what’s to come, we can expect a cooler, more-intimate project.
Kehlani’s last album, It Was Good Until It Wasn’t, dropped last April and debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top 200.
Kehlani is always experimenting and finding new ways to use her voice and sound which raises the question: what are you expecting from Blue Water Road? Something sounding like “I Like Dat” or something colder, closer to what we saw in this album trailer today? Let us know in the comments.

Conor McGregor Deads Beef With MGK, Tells Him To Come To Next Fight
Despite Doja Cat’s array of insane outfits, Lil Nas X’s show-stopping performance of “Industry Baby” with Jack Harlow and everything else that happened *during* the MTV VMAs on Sunday night, the craziest headline came from before the award show even started.
When Conor McGregor and Machine Gun Kelly crossed paths on the red carpet before both later appearing on stage, (McGregor as an award presenter, MGK as both a performer, performing his record “Papercuts” with Travis Barker, and an award recipient, winning Best Alternative Video for “My Ex’s Best Friend’) all hell broke loose. The story, according to TMZ, was that MGK refused to flick up with McGregor, McGregor lost his cool, threw a drink and the two were separated while Megan Fox stepped in between.
McGregor was quick to point out that he doesn’t even know MGK aside from him being with Fox and that he only fights “real fighters” and not “little vanilla boy rappers.” MGK and Fox were quiet on the matter and things seemed to have died down and now, as he is one to do, McGregor is the only one still talking.
Just after hitting the street, McGregor told the paparazzi in front of his hotel that there is “no beef” between he and MGK. Extending an invitation to his next fight, whenever McGregor has fully recovered from the gruesome leg injury he suffered weeks ago in a bout against Dustin Poirier, McGregor was welcoming in saying that “everyone’s more than welcome to come to my fight or come to the shows.”
Michael Loccisano/Getty Images
After reiterating that he does not know MGK at all, however, McGregor made sure to drop a line about Fox before leaving it be.
“I don’t know (MGK). Who is he? Megan’s been at the fights years, so I know Megan,” McGregor made clear. “Then I don’t know the guy. Come to the fights.”
Whether or not we’ll ever get the real reasoning behind McGregor and MGK nearly coming to blows on VMA red carpet is a mystery but McGregor let it be known that MGK is always welcome at his fights.
Is there actual beef between the two? Do you think we’ll see MGK at a McGregor fight once his leg is all healed up? Let us know in the comments.

Nicki Minaj Now Has Beef With Piers Morgan Because Of Her Vaccine Tweets
Ladies and gentlemen, we are through the looking glass. That’s just the only way to describe the topsy-turvy state of existence in which we find ourselves, once again watching a female rapper verbally jousting with a conservative commentator, and yet somehow agreeing with the latter more than the former. I am flabbergasted, befuddled, aghast, and agog at this turn of events.
Yesterday, Nicki Minaj dismayed a good-sized portion of her fanbase, both Barbz and casuals, when she seemingly discouraged fans from getting vaccinated against COVID-19, just minutes after revealing that she’d recently pulled out of major performances after contracting it during a video shoot. She then shared a slightly unbelievable personal account from a cousin in Trinidad who was forced to cancel his wedding due to adverse side effects from the vaccine, which sounded a lot more like an aversion to the central tenets of marriage to many observers.
They want you to get vaccinated for the Met. if I get vaccinated it won’t for the Met. It’ll be once I feel I’ve done enough research. I’m working on that now. In the meantime my loves, be safe. Wear the mask with 2 strings that grips your head & face. Not that loose one
— Nicki Minaj (@NICKIMINAJ) September 13, 2021
This led to a mention of Mrs. Petty on British news, where UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson replied to a question about the rapper’s comments by pointing out that he’s “not as familiar with the works of Nicki Minaj as I probably should be,” but extolling the benefits of vaccination. Nicki, alerted to the clip by one of her fans, replied with a tongue-in-cheek voice note, sharing it on Twitter where it garnered Morgan’s attention. The political pundit offered his own opinion, and things escalated from there.
I love him even tho I guess this was a diss? The accent ugh! Yassss boo!!!

send this to the prime minister & let him know they lied on me. I forgive him. No one else. Only him. pic.twitter.com/ZmJ2sST8Es

“Professor Whitty beefing with the ghastly @NICKIMINAJ (one of the rudest little madams I’ve ever met) is not the breaking news that I expected today – but it’s most welcome,” he wrote. “She’s peddling lies that will cost lives.” Minaj shot back, accusing Morgan of believing all Black women look alike (which, to be fair…) and called him a clown as their tit-for-tat degenerated into accusations that Nicki declined to greet Morgan’s kids during a television appearance. Nicki refuted the accusation while wondering at a discrepancy in his account. Nicki then tagged the wrong @pierce while inviting Morgan to go Live on Instagram to continue their “friendly chat.”
Yikes, indeed.
Look, journalistic objectivity aside, you have to agree with Piers on one thing: Nicki’s seemingly anti-vax tweet was very similar to many other scare tactics being used by various groups to discourage people from getting vaccinated — and those unfounded accounts are certainly killing people. As far as everything else… well… enjoy the drama, I guess. Just go get the shot first. Check out the fun below.

Scientists Set Sights On Wooly Mammoth Revival
If science fiction has taught us anything over the years, it’s that there stands an inherent danger whenever humankind decides to play God. And yet the temptation to seek progress, to satiate curiosity, and gain knowledge is often too strong to ignore. Sometimes, these desires can lead to some truly fascinating innovations. And, depending on who you ask, worrisome ones.
It was recently reported that a new company by the name of Colossal, reported by Complex to have been founded by scientists and entrepreneurs, has set its sights on reviving the long-extinct Wooly Mammoth.
Linda Davidson / The Washington Post via Getty Images
A majestic creature that has long intrigued Ice Age aficionados of all ages, the Wooly Mammoth is said to have gone extinct up to ten thousand years ago. Now, Colossal has amassed fifteen million dollars in private funding to bring the great beast back to life, their first step in an ambitious attempt to end extinction.
While this may sound like a Jurassic Park sequel and/or reboot, it appears that there are several brilliant minds at the center of the project. A report from Stat News highlights the words of “Harvard scientist and DNA sequencing pioneer George Church,” who offered up a few thoughts on the undertaking. “This is a major milestone for us,” he says, speaking on the multi-million dollars worth of funding. “It’s going to make all the difference in the world.”
With experiments being conducted at laboratories in Boston and Dallas, one of the first major experiments will consist of “editing” existing elephant DNA in the hopes of being able to closely mirror that of the Mammoth. In time, the goal would be to produce an embryo of a Mammoth-esque elephant, with Colossal projecting that a calf could theoretically be born within a six-year timeframe.
Jean-Marc ZAORSKI / Gamma-Rapho via Getty Images
But that’s not the endgame — as stated on the company’s website, Colossal one day hopes to see “To see the Woolly Mammoth thunder upon tundra once again.” They also note the positive impact that herds of Mammoth could have on the Arctic Tundra. “By knocking down dark, sunlight-absorbing trees,” explains the Stat News report, “Mammoths, (or even cold-adapted elephants) would transform the tundra into light-reflecting grassland that keeps the ground colder, locking in the methane and creating a lot of plant matter to lock up carbon, too.”
Overall, it’s likely that the pursuit of bringing back the Wooly Mammoth will elicit both cautious optimism and general wariness from skeptics. Lest we forget about the lessons instilled by years of science fiction — including the aforementioned Jurassic Park, which highlighted the dangers of experimenting with prehistoric creatures. Still, it will certainly be interesting to see what the team at Colossal is able to do with a $15 million dollar budget and one hell of a dream– do you think they will succeed in their mission to end extinction as we know it?

Flavor Flav Lays Out His Terms For Public Enemy Reunion
The saga that is “Flavor Flav said this” versus “Chuck D said that” has been a rollercoaster and, at this point, nobody besides those two knows exactly what is going on with their feud and the status of Public Enemy.
Last year, after Flavor Flav was fired from the group, Chuck D claimed it was all an April Fool’s hoax. Flavor Flav denied it was a hoax, the two went back and forth and despite ultimately releasing What You Gonna Do When The Grid Goes Down, their first album for Def Jam in two decades, there is still a divide in Public Enemy.
That being said, Flavor Flav had some words for Chuck D.
“Yo, there’s some things Chuck D has to work out with me,” Flav told TMZ while walking through the airport. “Once he comes to the table and signs this partnership agreement, then we can work. If he doesn’t sign this partnership agreement, we not working.”
Ethan Miller/Getty Images
Flav continued on to say that he is not the one holding up anything for Public Enemy and that Chuck D is the one who is not willing to come to the table to work out an agreement.
“Chuck D is the hold up and not Flavor Flav,” the clock-adorned rapper said. “That’s my boy. That’s my boy and that’s my family member, but business-wise, we’re not seeing eye to eye.”
Whatever happens to Public Enemy is obviously up in the air. Different stories are coming from different sides and it’s impossible to be sure what is fact and what is fiction. But one thing is for sure, with the current state of affairs in the world, there is always room for Public Enemy’s voice and the rap game is hopeful that, at some point, it can come back.
What do you think, though? Is Public Enemy done? Which side is really at fault here? Let us know in the comments.

Bill Burr Lights Up NFL, Calls Them “Hypocrites” Over BLM And Player Safety
Bill Burr and controversial statements go together like peanut butter and jelly. Burr, a staple in stand-up comedy and an accomplished actor and podcaster, has never been afraid to speak his mind, and whether or not people agree or disagree with the things he has to say has very little to do with whether or not he actually says them.
This year, while appearing on Conan, Burr attacked COVID anti-vaxxers with a twisted rollercoaster of explanations about the government, its “sheeple” and who would actually survive in the end. And last year, Burr used his SNL monologue to take aim at a couple more targets including white women and Pride month.
Rodin Eckenroth/Getty Images
Now, however, he has turned his sights on the NFL. On his Monday Morning podcast, Burr laid into commissioner Roger Goodell and the rest of the NFL, calling them “hypocrites.”
“How funny is it that the NFL has Black Lives Matter written on the back of their helmets as they also make the predominantly Black league play an extra football game every year after all the sh*t they know about CTE,” Burr questioned.
In other words, why is the NFL acting as if they care about Black lives while also agreeing to tack on another regular season game to the already long-enough NFL season in what was certainly a money-grab move which will inevitably put their predominantly Black league at a higher risk for injury, both mental and physical?
Obviously Burr has his own point-of-view and fans across the country have been excited for an extra week of football this season but the comedian does raise an interesting question. Is this is a situation where the league is putting on a good face by supporting the Black Lives Matter movement only to turn around and make a money move at the expense of Black players, or is Burr completely off track?

Rick Ross Gifts 16-Year-Old Son His Own Wingstop Franchise For Birthday
Rick Ross’ son William L. Roberts III is celebrating his sixteenth birthday today, and his father’s gift was pretty special. Getting him ready for a lifetime of wealth, the rapper gifted his son his very own Wingstop franchise.
“Everyone wish my son @mmgbigbank HAPPY 16th BIRTHDAY,” wrote Rick Ross on Instagram. “Today he became the owner of his 1st @wingstop franchise. Your now officially a BOSS !!! Keep Going.”
William posed for pictures on a throne, rocking a Versace-clad outfit and taking a bite out of a chicken wing. Clearly, he’s excited to be the new owner of a Wingstop franchise.
“William I’m extremely proud of you my son,” added Rozay in a comment.
Ross’ son received birthday messages from T.I., Calboy, Jim Jones, and many more.
William previously went viral for a series of photos, in which fans noticed that he shares the exact same face as his father. Earlier this year, he revealed that he had received offers from some of the most competitive schools to play on their football teams as an offensive lineman. He is currently an offensive tackle for St. Thomas Aquinas High School.
Happy birthday to Rick Ross’ son. Hopefully, he continues to make boss moves just like his dad, who recently flexed his hefty investment profile.
