NCAA Apologizes About Women’s Weight Room After Video Goes Viral: Report

It’s been a rough few days for the NCAA after the league was criticized for their men’s and women’s weight rooms. Oregon Ducks player Sedona Prince first brought attention to the controversy after sharing a video online. In the clip, Prince displays the women’s weight room—a set of barbells—and the men’s facility that hosted all of the amenities that a sports player would need. The video went viral and soon, professional NBA and WNBA players came forward to condemn the NCAA for unfair treatment of women.

After receiving backlash, the women’s weight room was quickly stocked and NCAA President Mark Emmert spoke with reporters about the issue. “I want to be really clear. This is not something that should have happened and, should we ever conduct a tournament like this again, will ever happen again,” said Emmert.

Lynn Holzman, NCAA’s Vice President of Women’s Basketball, also reportedly stated that they “fell short” because women were supposed to receive a full weight room at the third round of the tournament while men received theirs from the beginning. According to NPR, weight rooms are the least of their worries as other differences are being brought to light including men players receiving “buffet with steak fillets and lobster mac ‘n’ cheese” while women get “uninspiring box meals.” Men also reportedly get much larger swag bags for the event.

Bobby Brown Jr.’s Cause Of Death Revealed As Accidental Overdose: Report

Following reports that there was a “security hold” placed on the autopsy of Bobby Brown Jr., 28-year-old’s cause of death has been revealed. It was in November of last year when the tragic news was shared that Brown Jr. was found unresponsive in his home by emergency responders and declared dead at the scene. This loss adds to a series of unfortunate events in New Edition legend Bobby Brown’s life after the deaths of his ex-wife Whitney Houston, their daughter Bobbi Kristina, and Bobbi’s significant other, Nick Gordon in recent years.

It’s unclear if Bobby Brown Jr.’s family was made aware of his cause of death at an earlier date, but on Monday (March 22), it was shared with the public that he passed away due to an accidental overdose. There were reportedly multiple factors involved including cocaine, fentanyl, and alcohol. Whitney Houston and Nick Gordon both died as a result of overdoses, and while the same is speculated for Bobbi Kristina, what led to her being found face-down in a bathtub in 2015 remains unknown.

Prior to his passing, Brown Jr. reportedly told his loved ones he was experiencing flu-like symptoms, but it wasn’t believed to be COVID-19-related. “Please keep my family in your prayers at this time,” grieving father Bobby Brown previously shared in a statement. “Losing my son at this point in our lives has devastated my family. There are no words to explain the pain.”

Kylie Jenner Explains Herself After Make-Up Artist’s GoFundMe Controversy

Kylie Jenner has been under fire over the weekend, though that’s nothing new. The billionaire mogul had the internet roasting her after she shared a GoFundMe page in support of a make-up artist Samuel Rauda who was raising funds for medical bills after getting into an accident. Most felt that it was a tad bit tone-deaf that she, a billionaire, would be asking people in the midst of a pandemic to help foot her friend’s medical bills.

The beauty mogul took to Instagram today where she addressed the “false narrative” that she’s getting money from fans to help pay her make-up artist’s medical bill. Off the rip, she made it clear that Samuel Rauda isn’t her make-up artist, nor have they had a relationship for some time but describes him as “the sweetest.”

“I saw my current makeup artist repost about Sam’s accident and his family’s GoFundMe and i called Ariel immediately to see what happened to Sam,” she wrote, explaining that the GoFundMe page was set at $10K and was already at $6K by the time she was on the page. She explained that she donated $5K to reach the original goal of $10k. “[I] thought I’d post on my stories to gain more awareness if anyone else felt compelled to share or donate. I don’t know how all of this got so twisted but his family has reached out through Ariel and are very appreciative of all the donations, prayers, and love towards Sam.”

Kylie concluded that she’s a genuinely giving and helpful person with true intentions before encouraging her fans to share a bit of positivity. Check her post below.

Bfb Da Packman Reacts To Lizzo’s Dating Rumors

We thought that Bfb Da Packman successfully landed a date with Lizzo but the 3x Grammy award-winning artist seemingly has other plans, though it shouldn’t be all that surprising. If you recall, Bfb Da Packman found himself on Instagram Live with Lizzo last week when he finally asked her out on a date. This came after his numerous attempts to get her attention including pulling Quavo’s pick-up line in her DMs, sending her flowers, and learning the flute to serenade her.

She accepted the date which earned the praise of Lil Uzi Vert who’s apparently among the many rappers in Bfb’s corner in his pursuit of Lizzo. Unfortunately, it seems like he wasn’t paying enough attention to when she said that she “wasn’t looking for one man right now,” but rather, a collection of men. “If he wants to be one of my man, he can be,” she added just after he sent her flowers of Valentine’s Day.

It’s unclear whether there were any plans set in stone but it seems that Lizzo’s continuing to live her best life as a single woman. She was recently spotted with a new mystery man that led to rumors that they were dating. Admittedly salty, Bfb Da Packman revealed that he hasn’t lost hope yet. He shared a screenshot of his DM from someone who sent him the post from TheShadeRoom, adding, “sorry bro.” “@lizzobeeating So this my competition huh? That’s ight bae, your entree is waiting after ya snack. See you soon,” he captioned the post.

Boosie Badazz recently asked his Instagram followers for prayers prior to his annual cancer check-up. The rapper has been going for every year since having surgery to remove a cancerous tumor in 2015 as a way to ensure he stays in remission.

Boosie kept his followers updated with a second video showing himself in the waiting room with other patients, but after informing his followers he is cancer-free, Boosie quickly returned to his usual social media antics. On Friday, Boosie released his new single “Period” featuring Dababy, revealing a video is on the way, in the process. “Video on the way soon,” he exclaimed in his all-caps caption.

After the song’s release on Friday, Boosie followed it up with an Instagram video on Saturday, where he continued to tease the music video for the collaboration, albeit, in a strange manner. Boosie said he would give one of his followers a chance to be in the video if they would be willing to get slapped.

Boosie starts, “I got $554 dollars,” before taking a dramatic pause and saying, “ [For] Whoever let me slap the f*** out them” on the “Period” video.”

“Period “Video shoot” I need 3 smacks cross yo s*** for the video for good camera angles #pleasehelpmeout DM me if u trying to get the 554,” the caption of the video read.

“I want to come on that b****, n**** playing with me, I’m just going to bat him. BOP! But it got to be real though,” Boosie told followers.

After expressing his excitement to make the video a “reality,” Boosie encouraged anyone who is interested in being slapped for a small fee to DM him.

“If you going to let me bat you I got $554 dollars. Real s*** I want to make this b**** reality. Me and this boy finna go around the city, the whole city smacking shit. Just shut the f*** up, you doing p**** s*** period. DM me [if] you want to get smacked, man,” Boosie ended the video.
