Joyner Lucas Calls Snoop Dogg’s “The Algorithm” The “Best Album I Heard In A Long Time”

Since his heated back and forth on social media with Karen Civil became a viral showdown, Joyner Lucas has taken a step back to handle business. After the rapper came forward to accuse Civil of cheating him out of tens of thousands of dollars, the pair were the subject of debate as people discussed what occurs behind the scenes in the industry.

Articles were written, Clubhouse chatrooms were launched, and scathing tweets were sent. Lucas would later return to say that he has promised Civil he wouldn’t speak about the situation publicly any longer, and it looks as if he’s connecting with everyone’s favorite Rap Uncle, Snoop Dogg.

We’re gearing up for the release of Snoop Dogg’s Def Jam debut The Algorithm, and from what we’ve received, Snoop and his famous rapper friends have been in full-on beast mode. Lucas recently shared a photo of himself with the Long Beach icon and in the caption, he gave his take on the first listen of The Algorithm before it hits the streets.

“Stopped by the dogs house to show my uncle some love today. Rip to his dear momma. [red heart emoji],” wrote Lucas. “If you heard the album @snoopdogg played for me today. [facepalm emoij] best album I heard in a long long time. I been waiting for you bring those rhythm and gangsta vibez back unc. 11/19 [fire emoji] love you.”

Charlamagne Tha God Says “Kanye Was Poppin’ It On A Handstand” For Trump

Yep, it’s about that time again—another reaction to Kanye West’s Drink Champs. The explosive interview has taken over timelines today (November 5) as people share clips from the two-and-a-half-hour discussion where Ye seemed to unleash on just about any and everybody. The outspoken musician is known for speaking his mind without considering any consequences, and this time, it is Charlamagne Tha God who felt the heat from the Donda star.

Ye seemed to take issue with Charlamagne sitting down to interview President Joe Biden during the 2020 election. The rapper mentioned Biden’s controversial remark: “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump then you ain’t Black.” West claimed that Charlamagne had some intimate friendship with Biden and the comment proved how comfortable the then-presidential hopeful was with Tha God.

Charlamagne addressed Kanye’s mention while on The Breakfast Club. “If you do have love for Kanye, you gotta love him from a distance because of that type of delusion and lack of self-awareness,” said Charlamagne. “Kanye West cannot talk about anyone being close to any political figure when we watched him bust it open for Trump up in the Oval Office.”

“Kanye was poppin’ it on a handstand for Trump. And by the way, that’s the one and only time I’ve ever spoken to Joe Biden in my life,” he added. “But, Kanye, like I said, he has zero room to talk. He was hugging Trump and calling Turmp a father figure and said that white man made him feel like Superman.”

The Breakfast Club then cut to a clip of Ye in the White House with Trump as he told the former president how much he loved him. “That’s why you just gotta send Kanye healing energy. Everybody he talked about in this interview, he’s gonna be apologizing to.” Watch Charlamagne Tha God’s response in full below.

Will Smith Discusses Alleged “Open Marriage” With Jada: “Friendship Versus Marital Prison”

His wife may be discussing the goings-on of their personal lives on Red Table Talk, but Will Smith is taking his stories to Oprah Winfrey. We have been hearing more from Smith in recent weeks as the award-winning actor makes the press rounds for his new memoir, Will. He talked about falling for his co-star while married to his first wife and now, Smith details his marriage while chatting with Oprah.

Because of Red Table Talk, the Smith family has often found themselves to be trending topics, especially as it pertains to whether or not Will and Jada Pinkett Smith have an open marriage. The internet imploded with Jada admitted to her affair with singer August Alsina, mentioning that Will was well-aware of the relationship.

“You know, it’s really funny,” Smith told Winfrey. “We never actually like officially separated.” He added,  “We realized that it was a fantasy illusion that we could make each other happy. We agreed that she had to make herself happy and I had to make myself happy. Then we were going to present ourselves back to the relationship already happy — versus demanding that the other person fill our empty cup.”

Smith admitted that he was more “contentious” when he told his wife to “go figure out if you can be happy and prove to me it’s even possible.” The couple sees themselves as being in “friendship versus marital prison,” and Oprah wanted to know if that means they are able to engage with other sexual partners.

“So we talk about everything,” he said. “I think the difficulty that people have and difficulty in discussing it is people only think in terms of sex.” For them, it is a spiritual detoxifying rather than some open marriage where they chase after other partners. “People are trying to put something on it: ‘Will and Jada — what they doing with other people?’ Will and Jada ain’t really doing too much of nuthin,'” he reportedly said with a laugh.

“Will and Jada are on a spiritual journey to cleanse the poisonous, unloving parts of our hearts. And we’re doing it together in this lifetime no matter what.”

Gary Owen’s Wife Kenya Calls Him A “Lying Narcissist” & Promises Podcast

They announced their divorce earlier this year and since that time, the world has learned the intimate details of Gary Owen’s marriage. The famed comedian and his estranged wife Kenya Duke have been married for 18 years, and while their relationship was kept out of the limelight, Duke is making sure everyone knows about her husband’s alleged dealings now that they have split.

Duke has accused Owen of carrying on extramarital affairs and withholding finances, and she has returned to social media with another lengthy post about her ex. This time, she promises that she will be sharing her side of the story on her forthcoming podcast.

She tagged Owen in her caption but also called him “(aka Trevor from Bumble)” adding, “Can you please stop lying about paying the mortgage, I paid it. Let me know, if you want the receipt.”

“Those squatters that you talk about living here, they don’t,” Duke added. “We only got 1 problem a lying narcissist and he don’t live here no more. I am over here doing me. We don’t bother you at all for nothing. You push too far. The daddy you so viciously talk about on stage, about how terrible he was to you, when he was in his 20’s is who you are at 48 years old.”

While she didn’t detail what exact comments she was referencing, it is clear that something rubbed Duke the wrong way. “We haven’t had a meeting yet about this divorce and you are already starting,” she added. “Podcast dropping Nov 18th and I got some stuff to talk about.” Earlier this year, Owen addressed his divorce on the Wendy Williams Show and said it was his intention to keep everything behind the scenes, but Duke continues to make things public.

Boosie Badazz Calls Man Homophobic Slur In Video Confrontation About Lil Nas X

It seems as if this Friday (November 5) has been swarming with news about Summer Walker’s Still Over It and Kanye West’s interview with Drink Champs, but an alleged near-altercation involving Boosie Badazz has recently surfaced. Earlier today, a video of the rapper went viral where he is seen on Livestream when Lil Nas X’s song is suddenly heard in the background. Boosie said that it was on his television, adding that he doesn’t hate the young artist.

“I don’t have nothing against the dude to where I hear his music and go run and turn it off,” Boosie said in the clip. “Y’all people lost, man. I don’t hate that dude… I just put people in they place when they outta line, bruh. I don’t hate dude.”

However, another video surfaced and it shows Boosie being confronted by a Lil Nas X fan while out in public. It all looks as if it is a scene or sketch because there are obviously videographers and a boom mic clearly seen. In the clip, a man approaches Boosie and calls Lil Nas X his “niece” as he gets aggressive with the rapper.

Boosie steps to him and says, “Whatever the f*ck you is, you better get the f*ck [out of here].” While being whisked away he added, “F*ck you, b*tch! F*ggot ass b*tch!” We’ll have to see what this leads up to. Check out both videos below.

Soulja Boy Angrily Calls Out Kanye For Saying His “Donda” Verse Was Trash

The reactions to Kanye West’s Drink Champs continue to pour in, and now, it is Soulja Boy’s turn. West did not hold back when he addressed his peers, often sharing unfavorable comments about them. He said the worst decision he ever made was singing Big Sean to G.O.O.D. Music, he called Sean and John Legend “sell-outs” for opposing his presidential bid, he dubbed Just Blaze a “copycat” for his The Blueprint production on Jay-Z’s coveted album, and he ruffled Soulja Boy’s feathers when addressing Donda.

Soulja famously ranted after Donda was released and he realized the verse he laid for the album was excluded from the record. On Drink Champs, Kanye matter-of-factly said that he removed Soulja because the verse was “trash.”

Not to be outdone, Soulja Boy jumped on Livestream to angrily respond to Ye’s remarks about his talents. “You should have motherf*ckin’ text me that and say that verse wasn’t good,” said Soulja. “Don’t get on no motherf*ckin’ public platform and say different from what the f*ck you told me to my face. Tell me to my face!”

After verbally exploding for a bit longer with insults about West’s new haircut, Soula kept holding up his phone to the camera in an attempt to show that Kanye told him his “verse was hard.” Check out Kanye’s comments about Soulja, Soulja’s rant, and Akademiks showing that Ye once raved about Soulja’s verse below.

Megan Thee Stallion Believes There Is An “Immediate Attack” When Women Defend Themselves

Since she first stepped into the mainstream arena years ago, Megan Thee Stallion has endured her fair share of taunting and trolling. The Houston rapper has helped usher in a new wave of twerk-themed Rap anthems, but with the fame comes the criticisms. Things only intensified after Megan alleged that Tory Lanez shot her in the foot in July 2020, and as the court date for that case approaches, Megan chatted with Glamour about the backlash she often faces.

“The bigger I get, the bigger my platform gets, I start realizing that I’m not the only woman that goes through what I go through, and it doesn’t matter what scale it’s on,” said the rapper.

“Mine is just public because I’m a public figure. I want to bring things to light so other women don’t feel like they have to continue to be silent,” Megan continued, adding that she believes much of that public criticism is something women experience more than men. “As soon as a woman starts speaking up for herself, there’s an immediate attack. People don’t like it when you are strong and you standing up for yourself. I stand on what I say.”

“I’m very solid, and I’m very thorough. If I have to be the example, I will be.” Meanwhile, Megan continues to prepare for her graduation from Texas State University next month.

Jay-Z Calls Kanye West’s Comments About “The Blueprint” & Just Blaze “Unfair”

If you were lucky enough to catch Jay-Z on Twitter Spaces, then you have already heard the Rap mogul’s reaction to Kanye West’s Drink Champs appearance. Ye’s sitdown with the Revolt series has been the subject of ongoing conversations as the rapper did not hold back in targeting his peers during the candid tell-all, but it was his remarks about Just Blaze that Jay-Z deemed to be “unfair.”

There were several producers that worked on Jay’s sixth studio album The Blueprint, including Kanye West and Just Blaze. On Drink Champs, Ye was asked to pick the better producer, Swizz Beatz or Blaze, and he ranted about the latter being a copycat on Hov’s record. However, that isn’t how things went down, said Jay-Z.

While on Twitter Spaces, Jay was asked about his thoughts on Ye’s interview. “Nore sent me a piece and I’ve seen a couple pieces. I think, again, everyone is entitled to their opinion and everyone can, sees things through their own lens,” said the Roc Nation icon. “Some of it could be true, some of it may not be true, but that’s the lens that you see it through, so you just speaking to your truth.”

“I think the one thing I would say out of the, all the pieces I’ve seen is…the Just Blaze thing was a bit unfair,” he continued. “‘Cause if you’re making an album, you’re creating an album and the assignment is Soul samples, everyone’s coming with Soul… Everyone created for the project. The thing was, the baby was The Blueprint and I think everyone should be prized for what we created. It’s in, I don’t know what you call that, the Library of Congress or something. It’s something that we all should be proud of and everyone should be prized for their contributions.”

“Everyone ha a contribution, I will say, and I don’t think anyone was copying off of anyone… We all had the assignment and created this one body of work.” Aside from that one portion, Mr. Carter chalks the remainder of West’s remarks up as him sharing his opinions and thoughts.
