He’s not only a hot commodity in the studio, but Jack Harlow has developed a reputation with the ladies. It only takes a quick look through social media platforms to see that women have been flocking to Harlow’s shows as they share posts showing themselves screaming upon meeting him face to face. The Kentucky rapper has been making the most out of his first few years in the industry and continues to build his brand with one successful effort after another.

He keeps his dating life close to the chest but has spoken about living the single life, and it seems that Russell Simmons and Kimora Lee Simmons’s daughter Aoki Simmons is interested in grabbing his attention.

Aoki posed in a full-on glamor shoot for the Baby Phat Beauty campaign shot by photographer Jacob DeKat. The 19-year-old Harvard University student got a little cheeky in her caption and mentioned the rapper.

“Literally me plotting on Jack Harlow [smiling halo emoji],” Aoki wrote. The rapper hasn’t responded to the teen shooting her shot, but he has spoken about not being the type to let the world know his personal business.

“I don’t want you to know what my twenty-four hours are like, I don’t want you to see the inside of my room,” Harlow told Vogue last month. “I don’t want you to see—I want that for me. I don’t want you to know who I’m dating. I don’t want you to know this and that.” Check out Aoki’s post below.

The “Free Pooh Shiesty” movement continues as the rapper remains incarcerated. It has been reported that Shiesty is set to go to trial this month and weeks ago, it was stated that he changed his plea from not guilty to guilty. He was arrested over the summer and is facing life in prison as prosecutors alleged that he shot a man in the behind last year.

The rapper’s supporters have been rallying for his release and after being pelted with questions on how they can contact Shiesty behind bars, his team has shared information with fans.

Shiesty’s Instagram Story showed a repost detailing Shiesty’s information for those that wanted to send him money.

“I get a lot of DMs about how kan I send Shiesty some bread well this is one wat thru Western Union either in the store or online,” the message read. DJ Akademiks reshared the post and people quickly jumped in the comments to complain about the rapper asking the public for cash when he regularly flexed his jewels and stacks online.

Shiesty’s friend 42 Dugg recently revealed that he was supposed to be on tour at this time with him and the late King Von. Check it out below and let us know if you’ll be sending Shiesty a few dollars.

Today, Baxter Holmes of ESPN unleashed his highly anticipated piece on the Phoenix Suns and team owner Robert Sarver. For weeks now, the NBA had been preparing for the bombshell piece which exposes Sarver for various alleged incidents of sexism, racism, and harassment. There is one passage in the report where former head coach Earl Thomas details a time in which Sarver dropped the N-Word numerous times while talking about Draymond Green.

The full scope of the report is quite shocking, and now, the NBA is responding. In a press release, the NBA revealed that they would be launching an investigation into the Suns and that they would officially make a decision on Sarver following the inquiry. Needless to say, they mean business right now.

“The allegations contained in today’s ESPN article are extremely serious, and we have directed the Wachtell Lipton law firm to commence a comprehensive investigation,” NBA Executive Vice President, Communications Mike Bass said in a statement. “The NBA and WNBA remain committed to providing a respectful and inclusive workplace for all employees. Once the investigation is completed, its findings will provide the basis for any league action.”

The NBA acted in a similar manner with Donald Sterling, which eventually led to his exile from the league. Now, Sarver could very well be in a similar situation as his team looks to repeat their success from last year.

Looking to expand her wedding game, Cardi B offered up her services to Kal Penn. We recently reported on Cardi officiating a lesbian wedding with the help of Raven-Symoné on the Facebook Watch series Cardi Tries, and now she is hoping that the Harold & Kumar icon will hire her for his upcoming nuptials. 

Penn has been a relatively quiet public figure as he moved from Hollywood to the White House to work with former President Barack Obama’s administration. It surprised many when Penn recently revealed he has been in a romantic relationship for 11 years and was engaged. The news went viral because the actor shared that his fiancé is a man named Josh.

This week, a simple tweet from Penn sparked an exchange with Cardi B.

“Cardi B was on my flight to LA. I fell asleep and had a dream that she officiated our wedding on the plane and the three of us walked out of LAX holding hands,” Penn joked. The rapper replied, “First, why didn’t you say hi! Second, I’m licensed to do that sooo……..let me know.” The actor said that he wanted to be respectful and not disturb her personal space.

Ever since the airing of The Last Dance back in April of 2020, Scottie Pippen has been very upset with Michael Jordan. Pippen has gone on various rants against his former teammate and has even described him as “selfish.” Needless to say, Pippen doesn’t think too highly of MJ and whenever he gets a chance to slander him, he does it now. 

This past week, Pippen went on an assault against Jordan’s character and said that Jordan made millions of dollars from The Last Dance while the rest of the former Bulls players made nothing. Pippen’s diatribes against Jordan were documented in a brand new memoir, and many fans are seeing through the grift as they believe that Pippen is just trying to sell a few extra copies.

As for the likes of Skip Bayless, who covered the Bulls in the 90s, he believes that Pippen needs to stop talking. In fact, Bayless went on a lengthy rant about Pippen, stating that the Bulls never thought of Pippen as a leader and that had he been left to his own devices as the number one option, he would have been a top 50 player in the history of the league.

“Scottie Pippen is one of the more overrated players in NBA history,” Bayless declared on Undisputed. It was certainly a hot take although Bayless brought up a plethora of instances that showcases how Pippen wasn’t the player everyone thought he was.

Considering this is Bayless we’re talking about here, it shouldn’t be surprising that there was some resistance to this opinion. Not to mention, Bayless has always been a Jordan stan, which certainly explains some of the takes that were dished out here.

Their relationship isn’t as close as it used to be, but that hasn’t kept John Legend from speaking openly about Kanye West. The pair of Chicago natives met way back when in those early days before they were rich and famous, and while there are plenty of photos showing the musicians double dating with their wives and enjoying time together, Legend and West are no longer bosom buddies. 

The “All of Me” crooner caught up with author Danny Goldberg who released Bloody Crossroads 2020: Arts, Entertainment, and Resistanceto Trump this week. During the conversation, Legend gave his assessment on why West was so enamored with former President Donald Trump.

West’s presidential bid in 2020 confused the masses and was riddled with conspiracy theories. The rapper laid out his platform, somewhat, at the time, but Legend does not believe that Kanye is truly looking to become the next big voice in the political arena.

“I don’t see Kanye as a political person at all. We never talked about politics. He had never voted before 2020,” the singer told Goldberg. Instead, Legend theorizes that West’s aspirations were driven by the Rap mogul identifying with the controversial president. “He saw in Trump the kind of underdog narcissist that he sees in himself.”

Lou Williams got to spend a lot of time with the Los Angeles Clippers and during his tenure with the franchise, he was beloved by many of his teammates, and the fanbase itself. The Clippers were a natural extension of Williams’ being and it felt like he was going to be a part of the team until the end of his career. That all changed at last year’s trade deadline when Williams was dealt to the Atlanta Hawks for Rajon Rondo. 

Williams has been open about this deal and how it almost caused him to retire on the spot. While Williams enjoys Atlanta now, there is no denying that he still has unresolved feelings about the Clippers. In a new interview with Taylor Rooks of Bleacher Report, Williams spoke about leaving the Clippers and how at the end of it all, he felt disrespected by the timing of the deal.

“I just ain’t like how it went down. That’s all,” Williams said. “You had three months to trade me, and you wait till 15 minutes before the deadline, I just wasn’t feeling it. I felt like I deserved a little more respect than that.”

Now, Williams is thinking of retiring at the end of the year as he has been in the league for quite a while now. It remains to be seen if he will follow through on this decision, although at this point, you can’t deny that he’s had a great career in the NBA.

Barstool Sports Founder and Owner Dave Portnoy has been at the center of numerous controversies over the years. His publication has been consistently criticized for its sexist and sometimes racist culture, and it’s been hard for the brand to escape those attributes. In fact, Portnoy has at times embraced Barstool’s reputation, which has made critics that much more angry.

Now, in a piece from Julia Black of Business Insider, Portnoy is being accused of sexual assault by numerous women, with one of them being as young as 19 years old. According to these women’s accounts, Portnoy would invite them over for sex, and while things would start off consensually, he would then allegedly proceed to get aggressive and wouldn’t stop when told “no” or “it hurts.” One woman even told her friend in a text message “It was so rough I felt like I was being raped … I was literally screaming in pain.”

All of the allegations were quite similar to one another, and it didn’t take long for the story to trend online. That’s when Portnoy issued a 12-minute statement on his Twitter account, where he called the Business Insider a report a “hit piece” that was trying to destroy him through woke cancel culture. 

“I know I’ve never done anything weird with a girl ever,” Portnoy said. He went on to say that one of the women still wanted to hang out with him after their first meet-up, while also claiming that none of the other women told him to stop.
