Megan Thee Stallion Believes There Is An “Immediate Attack” When Women Defend Themselves

Since she first stepped into the mainstream arena years ago, Megan Thee Stallion has endured her fair share of taunting and trolling. The Houston rapper has helped usher in a new wave of twerk-themed Rap anthems, but with the fame comes the criticisms. Things only intensified after Megan alleged that Tory Lanez shot her in the foot in July 2020, and as the court date for that case approaches, Megan chatted with Glamour about the backlash she often faces.

“The bigger I get, the bigger my platform gets, I start realizing that I’m not the only woman that goes through what I go through, and it doesn’t matter what scale it’s on,” said the rapper.

“Mine is just public because I’m a public figure. I want to bring things to light so other women don’t feel like they have to continue to be silent,” Megan continued, adding that she believes much of that public criticism is something women experience more than men. “As soon as a woman starts speaking up for herself, there’s an immediate attack. People don’t like it when you are strong and you standing up for yourself. I stand on what I say.”

“I’m very solid, and I’m very thorough. If I have to be the example, I will be.” Meanwhile, Megan continues to prepare for her graduation from Texas State University next month.

Jay-Z Calls Kanye West’s Comments About “The Blueprint” & Just Blaze “Unfair”

If you were lucky enough to catch Jay-Z on Twitter Spaces, then you have already heard the Rap mogul’s reaction to Kanye West’s Drink Champs appearance. Ye’s sitdown with the Revolt series has been the subject of ongoing conversations as the rapper did not hold back in targeting his peers during the candid tell-all, but it was his remarks about Just Blaze that Jay-Z deemed to be “unfair.”

There were several producers that worked on Jay’s sixth studio album The Blueprint, including Kanye West and Just Blaze. On Drink Champs, Ye was asked to pick the better producer, Swizz Beatz or Blaze, and he ranted about the latter being a copycat on Hov’s record. However, that isn’t how things went down, said Jay-Z.

While on Twitter Spaces, Jay was asked about his thoughts on Ye’s interview. “Nore sent me a piece and I’ve seen a couple pieces. I think, again, everyone is entitled to their opinion and everyone can, sees things through their own lens,” said the Roc Nation icon. “Some of it could be true, some of it may not be true, but that’s the lens that you see it through, so you just speaking to your truth.”

“I think the one thing I would say out of the, all the pieces I’ve seen is…the Just Blaze thing was a bit unfair,” he continued. “‘Cause if you’re making an album, you’re creating an album and the assignment is Soul samples, everyone’s coming with Soul… Everyone created for the project. The thing was, the baby was The Blueprint and I think everyone should be prized for what we created. It’s in, I don’t know what you call that, the Library of Congress or something. It’s something that we all should be proud of and everyone should be prized for their contributions.”

“Everyone ha a contribution, I will say, and I don’t think anyone was copying off of anyone… We all had the assignment and created this one body of work.” Aside from that one portion, Mr. Carter chalks the remainder of West’s remarks up as him sharing his opinions and thoughts.

Yella Beezy Arrested On Sexual Assault, Endangering A Child Charges: Report

Just over two months ago, Yella Beezy was arrested after he claims officers mistook his novelty hand sanitizer for Lean. The rapper was detained on drugs and weapons charges and he later shared a video to social media where he detailed his experience, claiming that the authorities went above and beyond to take him into custody. As the Dallas artist tackles that case, it has been reported today (November 5) that Beezy has once again landed himself in police custody.

The rapper’s third arrest this year reportedly occurred yesterday, but details regarding the circumstances surrounding his charges have yet to be shared publicly.

According to several outlets, including TMZ and NBC 5 News in Dallas-Fort Worth, Beezy, real name Markies Conway, was reportedly “being held on charges of endangering a child, unlawfully carrying a weapon, and an outstanding warrant for sexual assault.” The rapper is reportedly being investigated by the Plano Police Crimes Against Persons Unit and was given a $50K bond for the sexual assault charge.

Beezy was said to have been released today, but the rapper nor his team have issued formal statements regarding his arrest or the charges against him. It is unclear when the initial incident related to these charges occurred, but Plano Officer Andrae Smith stated that Yella Beezy’s arrest was initially only for the sexual assault charge.

“They went to effect the arrest and circumstances surrounding that arrest led to the UCW and the endangering of a child,” said Smith.

Draymond Green Reacts To Robert Sarver’s Racial Slur Use

Yesterday, the NBA world was shocked as Baxter Holmes and ESPN finally released their investigative piece into the tenure of Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver. There were some pretty heavy allegations in this piece and a lot of them were centered around his casual racism. In the report, it was revealed that Sarver once used the N-word multiple times in a rant about Draymond Green. Green used the word on the court and Sarver was outraged that he himself wasn’t allowed to use the word.

This was the most egregious thing to come out of the piece, which is saying something when you consider how Sarver was trying to get his players to impregnate strippers just so that they would have to stay in Phoenix long-term. Needless to say, his character isn’t exactly all world.

In the aftermath of this report, Draymond Green took to Twitter saying “But I was fined?? Lol smh” which is a reference to the time where he said on TNT that he wants to see Devin Booker out of Arizona. He was then asked about the comments by reporters, and as you will see down below, he already knew about them. Green noted that word is quick to get around these days and that he heard about it fairly soon after it happened.

As for the Suns, they are now being subjected to an investigation, which is certainly bad news for Sarver and his executive staff. In fact, Sarver could very well end up like Donald Sterling if the league finds damning evidence.

London On Da Track & Young Thug React To Summer Walker’s “Still Over It”

Fans expected Summer Walker to put all of her feelings about her breakup with London On Da Track into her music, but not everyone was ready for Still Over It. The former couple once touted their romance on social media for all to see and London even acted as executive producer of Summer’s debut studio album, Over It. The record topped the charts and the singer’s team is hoping that this latest effort will do the same.

As Summer remains a trending topic, there have been plenty of reactions to her lyrical content on her new album. She has made it clear that she has moved on from her relationship with London, but her fans are seemingly living out Summer’s experiences through her music. London suggested that he hasn’t even been aware of the record’s release.

“Lol [sideways crying laughing emojij] just woke up what happened … [thinking emojis][sideways crying laughing emojis],” he wrote to his Instagram Story. “Oh sh*t album out [crying laughing emoji] I’m just glad to be an inspiration keep streamin!!” He wasn’t the only famous person to react to the record, as Young Thug seems to have a bone to pick with Walker.

On her track “4th Baby Mama,” Summer croons about London, the father of her daughter: “Now what’s the point in keep on having kids? / If she just gone be raising them, that’s just pure laziness / Ion get it is you tryna keep up with Thug? Is you racing him? / Crazy how you really think that sh*t’s cute, be embracing it, oh.”

Thugger didn’t know what he had to do with the drama and playfully posted a photo of himself giving the middle finger. “Summer walker f*ck u lol,” Thug penned over the photo. Check out the posts and Summer Walker’s “4th Baby Mama” below.

Naomi Osaka Makes Her Highly-Anticipated Return To The Court

It has been a very rough year for tennis star Naomi Osaka. It all started at the French Open when she decided that she wasn’t going to do media availability. She felt as though the media made her too anxious and she was simply protecting her mental health. After being fined for this, Osaka dropped out of the French Open and eventually dropped out of Wimbledon as well.

From there, she had a disappointing showing at the Olympics and after a third-round exit in the US Open, she decided that she would be taking a prolonged break from tennis. Things were beginning to spiral for her and it was clear that tennis simply wasn’t at the top of her mind. Needless to say, the break was very much necessary if she wanted to get back to her old habits of winning.

Recently, Osaka came back to practice and she decided to post about it on social media. As she notes in her post below, it was a bit hard to get back out there after some extended time off, although she appears to be excited about what’s next for her career. It also seems as though she got a ton of support from her fans throughout this rough patch.

“Kinda rusty but feels good to be back,” Osaka said. “I really want to say thank you everyone for all the kind messages, I really appreciate it.”

With Grand Slams starting back up in 2022, Osaka will have a golden opportunity to prove to the world that she’s still one of the best at what she does.

Kanye Defends Friendship With Marilyn Manson, Shades #MeToo Movement

The internet has been lit with headlines pertaining to Kanye West’s wild Drink Champs interview. The rapper sat down for the first time since releasing Donda to chop it up with Noreaga and DJ EFN about all of his scandals, controversies, and career moments. There were several takeaways from the complete conversation, and we’ve been highlighting many of those moments here on HNHH.

A controversy that Ye has been embroiled in has been his relationship with Marilyn Manson after the shock-rocker appeared alongside West at his Donda listening event in Chicago. Later, Manson also joined Ye and Justin Bieber for an intimate prayer at Sunday Service, but the public vilified the rapper for giving an even greater platform to Manson.

In recent years, Manson has been hit with accusations from several women who have accused him of sexual assault, rape, sexual battery, and holding them against their will. There are lawsuits set against him and as litigation is ongoing, Manson has denied any wrongdoing. Kanye spoke about the backlash he has received for aligning himself with Manson, biting back at Cancel Culture.

All the Me Too… like, when I sit next to Marilyn Manson and DaBaby right after both of them got canceled, for five songs, you know, it’s like they can’t cancel us all,” Ye explained. “They’ll hit you with the accusations of somebody who you was with 10 years ago. And also, there’s women who’ve been through really serious things, pulled in alleys against their will – that’s different than a hug, but it’s classified as the same thing.”

“It’s power and politics. You know, power-hungry maniacs and just control. This is 1984 mind control we’re in.” Check out Kanye’s Drink Champs interview in full below. Also, make sure to check out our article: Top 7 Shots Kanye West Fired During His “Drink Champs” Appearance.

Skip Bayless Claims Russell Westbrook Is Destroying The Lakers

Russell Westbrook has had his fair share of struggles since joining the Los Angeles Lakers this season. While he does have flashes of brilliance, he tends to give up a lot of turnovers and it has made the Lakers hard to watch. This was certainly true last night as the Lakers gave up a 19-point lead, allowing the Oklahoma City Thunder to come back and win the game. It was the Lakers’ second loss to the Thunder this season, and the Lakers remain the only team that OKC has actually beaten.

While Russ did notch 27 points, his performance in the dying minutes was lackluster, and many Lakers fans were upset with what they were seeing. Today, Russ’ play was scrutinized by all of the TV analysts, including Skip Bayless who made sure to let his feelings be known on the matter.

Skip has been a harsh critic of Russ so far this season, and he didn’t stop today as he stated that Russ is in the midst of ruining the purple and gold.

“As I predicted, this won’t work! There’s no Bron, it was Russ’ time to shine and he played out of control. A turnover machine with low basketball IQ,” Skip wrote. “Bottom line: Russell Westbrook is killing your Los Angeles Lakers.”

This is an opinion shared by many right now, although it doesn’t mean things won’t get better for the Lakers. They are a team full of superstars, and it won’t be long before they figure things out. If they can’t, however, than this experiment will go down as a failed one.
