Julio Jones Placed On IR, Will Miss At Least 3 Games

The Tennessee Titans have placed Julio Jones on injured reserve, meaning the star wide receiver will miss a minimum of three games in the coming weeks. Jones’ absence comes on the heels of the team announcing that their All-Pro running back, Derrick Henry, is expected to miss 6-10 weeks.

Jones reportedly tweaked his hamstring during Thursday’s practice.

Speaking after Henry’s injury, defensive linemen Jeffery Simmons said the emphasis will be on the defense: “We have a lot of guys that no matter what the situation is we are going to fight until the end. We knew that a lot of people were doubting us, that everyone was having thoughts without Derrick. We miss Derrick, it sucks that he got hurt. But one thing about it, defense wins championships.”

The Titans acquired Jones in a trade with the Atlanta Falcons in exchange for a 2022 second-round pick and a 2023 fourth-round pick. The Titans also received a 2023 sixth-round pick.

Since joining the Titans, Jones has struggled with injuries, missing weeks 4, 5, and 8 so far this season. His best performance came in Week 2 against the Seattle Seahawks when he hauled in 6 catches for 128 yards.

The Titans are currently ranked first in the AFC at 7-2. Over the next three games, they’ll take on the New Orleans Saints, Houston Texans, and New England Patriots.

Affion Crockett’s Stand-Up Set Interrupted By Offended “Karen”

A woman attending comedian Affion Crockett’s stand-up set in Jacksonville, Florida, stormed the stage on Friday night, claiming to be offended by his jokes. Crockett labeled the woman a “Karen” in response.

The comedian shared a clip of the incident on Instagram afterward.

“Soo tonight I had my first KAREN storm the stage like the Capitol,” he joked in the caption. “I can’t make this shit up. When I perform, I SAID WHAT I SAID. If you don’t like it, don’t come. Cancel deez nuts.”

In the video, the woman can be heard saying, “You insulted a lot of people tonight.”

Affion responds, “So, me up here describing my own life is insulting to you?”

The crowd chants “Karen” as she departs.

Crockett had spoken about “cancel culture” during a recent appearance on the podcast Drink Champs, saying that people put too much into it.

“In my opinion, we put too much power in cancel culture,” he said. “Kanye West is a genius. This nigga hugged the devil with a MAGA hat on. Multiple times, they wanted to cancel Kanye for all kinds of shit. We’re in a society where everybody’s attention span is so fucking short. You can say some shit tomorrow and get canceled. And then two weeks later, [you can] drop a new single.”

Soulja also discussed his recent beef with Kanye West, which has since been settled.

The argument stemmed from West leaving Soulja off of his record, Donda, and later criticizing the verse he provided for the project during an appearance on Drink Champs.

“Me and Kanye, we’ve worked together over the years– since the beginning of my career, you know?” Soulja explained. “Since I came in as a teenager, we always been in the studio. We always been mutual friends. It’s been a mutual respect in what we do. So he reached out, said he wants me to do the Donda album. We dropped the song. I wasn’t on the album. He dropped the album. I wasn’t on the album.”

Soulja says he would still work with Ye again but would want to get a chance to talk to him about what happened with Donda first.

“He had a terrific week; he really did,” Carroll said after the team’s practice. “And you could see him just feel a little bit better as the week went on, but he really didn’t hold anything back. He finished great the last couple of days, and he’s ready to go.”

Carroll added that Wilson is desperate to get back on the football field: “He’s pretty hungry to play football, now. He missed it, so we’ve got to make sure that he stays clear and all that about this opportunity. If anything, I’m just worried that he’s too excited and too amped up, but he’ll be fine. Really, I’m just so impressed with how this thing has worked out, and that he’s gotten us to this point, and really fired up to see him play football.”

Running back Chris Carson will remain out for Week 10.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will also be returning in time to start, Monday night, after missing time with COVID-19.

Project Pat Shoots Down Idea That Migos Stole Three 6 Mafia’s Flow

Project Pat says that Migos have “their own flow” when asked whether they borrowed from Lord Infamous and Three 6 Mafia. Pat discussed comparisons between the groups in a new interview with VladTV on Friday.

The debate boils down to who invented the “triplet flow,” whether it be Migos, Three 6 Mafia, or even another group such as Bone Thugs-n-Harmony.

“If you say that, you’d have to say when Lord came out, that was somebody else’s flow,” Pat explained. “People listen to rap and put their twist on it. I’ve heard people say that about Migos, but they really got their own flow… I can’t really say they got it from there but it has similarities.”

When asked how he’d feel if he felt an up-and-coming rapper took his flow, he said he wouldn’t pay it no mind because he “don’t got time for that.”

Back in September, Migos rapper Quavo said that his group introduced the triplet flow to the rap game.

“The triplet flow, for sure,” Quavo told Bleacher Report‘s Taylor Rooks. “Wasn’t nobody doin’ it before we came in and right now, everybody’s doing it. It’s a blessing. The triplet flow, the cadence, the flippin’ it, whippin’ it. That’s what everybody love to this day… 2014, I was the most influential rapper.”
