DaniLeigh Faces Two Assault Charges Following An Incident With DaBaby Captured On Instagram Live

A few months ago, DaniLeigh gave birth to her first child with DaBaby. The two rappers originally broke up in February, but are still caring for their child. Their relationship has definitely had its ups-and-downs, exemplified by an argument the two had over the weekend that was captured on Instagram Live. Both rappers shared their side of the story, but the entire ordeal ended with DaniLeigh now facing two assault charges.

The filmed argument kicked off while DaniLeigh was feeding their child in bed. They traded insults back-and-forth, with DaniLeigh claiming DaBaby had been absent in the first place and was now trying to make her leave his apartment. DaBaby eventually called the police to try to get her removed and even claimed he had video evidence of her hitting him.

The assault charges DaniLeigh faces after the altercation were confirmed by local Charlotte news outlet WSOC-TV. After the on-camera argument, police showed up at DaBaby’s apartment Sunday and informed the rapper that he had to go to the magistrate’s office to pursue charges. Officers were reportedly called back to DaBaby’s apartment on Monday, who then informed them that DaniLeigh had assaulted him again. After a police investigation, DaniLeigh faces two counts of simple assault charges from both Sunday and Monday incidents.

Following their original Instagram Live argument, both rappers took to their own accounts to relay their side of the story. “End of the day no big deal I don’t want no charges pressed or nothing I just want her peacefully removed which they need to hurry up do as we speak I ain’t even want that behavior on display but it’s okay,” DaBaby wrote on his Instagram Story.

DaniLeigh also shared her account of the situation, saying she’s been living with DaBaby, cooking him meals, and taking care of their child when DaBaby said he wanted her gone. “Tonight he wanna come in the room talking bout ‘I need to go’ don’t matter where I go,” she wrote. “Mind u… I have a new born child, so he said I can go to a hotel.”

Big Sean & Hit-Boy Discuss Difficulties Working With Kanye West

Rappers might fight for the opportunity to appear on a Kanye West album but it doesn’t come without laborious efforts. During a recent interview with Million Dollaz Worth Of Game, Big Sean detailed the excruciating difficulties of working with Ye in the lab.

“Kanye can be very hard to work with,” Sean admitted before Hit-Boy added that he thought the Detroit rapper would mention this first. Sean went on to explain that the level of perfection that Kanye strives for with have any one of his collaborators re-doing their portion over the record countless times before Ye approves. “Kanye will have you re-do a verse 10 times and not use them,” Sean continued.

Hit-Boy added, “[Kanye will have you] redo some drums 10 times.”

Sean offered “Clique” as an example of Kanye putting his collaborators to work for the best final product possible. He said that it was initially a posse cut including eight verses. However, that changed once Jay-Z came in. “With ‘Clique,’ I did that verse on the fly so there’s like eight other verses on there. After him and Hov met up, they cut everybody but they was like, ‘Leave Sean on there, he went too crazy with the hook.'” Sean said.

The interview itself was released after Kanye West’s controversial appearance on Drink Champs where he suggested that he deserves death for signing Big Sean. The Detroit rapper later explained that he was caught off guard by such a claim since they were hanging out just days after the interview was conducted.

Sean went to Twitter where he clarified that he and Hit-Boy actually recorded the interview with Wallo and Gillie last month, before Kanye’s Drink Champs interview was filmed.

“Did this Million Dollars Worth A Game interview bout a month ago, a lot of people looking at it as a response to Ye’s Drink Champs and it’s not, I filmed it before that,” he tweeted.

Kanye West might be difficult to deal with but at the end of the day, it’s not like he wrote a diss track towards Big Sean in the studio as he did with T-Pain.

Peep the interview below. Sean and Hit-Boy talk Kanye around the 31:45 mark.

Duke Star Paolo Banchero and Coach K’s Grandson Face DWI Charges

Duke men’s basketball was set to have a memorable season in 2021-22. After this weekend, however, it could be memorable for all the wrong reasons.

On Sunday morning (Nov. 14), Duke guard Michael Savarino was pulled over by police in Orange County, NC for a stop-sign violation. He was then suspected of being intoxicated, and blew .08 BAC into a breathalyzer. His passenger in the car was Duke freshman phenom forward Paolo Banchero, as both him and Savarino are under the age of 21.

Savarino, who happens to be the grandson of legendary Duke men’s basketball head coach Mike Krzyzewski, is facing charges for DWI, as well as with driving after consuming alcohol under the age of 21 and a stop sign violation-related count. Banchero was released by police at the scene, but is facing charges for aiding and abetting DWI.

In response to these charges, Mike Krzyzewski released a statement today (Nov. 16) saying: “We are reviewing a legal matter involving two members of the men’s basketball team. Any further actions as a result of this situation will ultimately be determined by the Vice President/Director of Athletics.”

This season is set to be Krzyzewski’s last year coaching, as he will retire at the end of the year. In his over 40-year career at Duke, Coach K has won five national championships and 15 ACC conference tournament championships.

Paolo Banchero was a five-star high school prospect, ranked No. 2 in his recruiting class. In Duke’s three games so far this season, he is leading the team in points (19.3 ppg) and rebounds (8.7 rpg). In their star-studded season opener against No. 10 ranked Kentucky, Banchero led Duke to a 79-71 win with 22 points and seven rebounds. He is currently expected to be drafted in the top 3 of the upcoming 2022 NBA Draft.

It is unknown whether or not Paolo and Savarino will face suspension, but hopefully this incident will not put a huge damper on Coach K’s going out party.

Antonio Brown Delivers Two-Word Hint On Injury Status

Antonio Brown has found a career resurgence in Tampa Bay, where he recently won his first-career Super Bowl. After a very turbulent few weeks with the Oakland Raiders and New England Patriots back in 2019, Brown was able to get himself back on track, and now, he is doing better than ever as he catches passes from the likes of Tom Brady.

After having a strong start to the season, Brown went down with an ankle injury that has since kept him out of the Bucs lineup. While the offense is still packed with wide receiver talent, there is no doubt that Brown makes the team that much better. As a result, fans have been hoping for a speedy return, and now, they might be getting that wish.

Despite staying relatively quiet about his injury, Brown decided to change that today as he took to his Instagram story with just two words, “Fireworks soon.” This was accompanied by a photo of Brown running away from defenders, which just goes to show that he is ready to come back and prove himself out on the field.

At this moment, there is no actual timeline being given in regards to his return, although you can’t help but feel it is going to come sooner rather than later.

Stay tuned to HNHH as we will bring you the latest on Brown’s status heading into his team’s upcoming game against the New York Giants.

Le’Veon Bell Reacts After Being Released By The Ravens

Just over a month ago, Le’Veon Bell signed with the Baltimore Ravens, hoping that it would lead to a revival of his career. After leaving the Pittsburgh Steelers a few years ago, Bell has been unable to recreate the magic from his early years, and it has seen him bounce from team to team. With the Ravens, Bell played five games, where he wasn’t utilized very often. In fact, he only had 31 carries and about 83 yards, with two touchdowns for good measure.

Today, however, Bell was released by the team, and according to Josina Anderson, the plan is to have Bell on the practice squad. With numerous Ravens players coming back, they needed roster space and Bell was a victim of circumstance.

Following the news, Bell took to Twitter with a message of appreciation for the city, as well as those who gave him the opportunity. He was very understanding of the move and while he is admittedly disappointed, there’s no doubt that he

“This hurts, but it’s been a blessing to be here to say the least, I’ve enjoyed every second of this short period & gotta whole new meaning of what this city is like & it’s a great place to be,” Bell wrote. “I appreciate Eric Decasta & John Harbaugh for the opportunity to be called a Raven.”

It remains to be seen where Bell will end up, so stay tuned to HNHH as we will make sure to bring you all of the latest updates on this story.

Drake Shows Love To Kendrick Lamar On “Take Care” Anniversary

10 years ago, Drake released his game-shifting sophomore album, Take Care. It was an album that shaped the trajectory of his career, especially as he defeated the sophomore slump. In many ways, it was an album that helped determine the next 10 years of the rap game. Not only through the music that was created but the subsequent tour that included opening acts like Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole — two artists that are regarded his peers and competition, now.

As Twitter reminisced on the soundtrack of fall 2011, Drake went through his archived photos from that era. The studio sessions that fueled Take Care, the promo run afterward, and the “Club Paradise” tour. On the celebratory post on his Instagram page, he included a tour t-shirt from the second leg of the tour that included J. Cole, Meek Mill, Waka Flocka, and 2 Chainz, as well as the poster from the first leg in the U.S. and Europe alongside Kendrick Lamar and A$AP Rocky.

While Drake and Kendrick Lamar have been competing for the title of this generations’ GOAT, Drake did give Kendrick Lamar a massive look by including him on Take Care. K. Dot had one of the best verses on the album with “Buried Alive.” During the trip down memory lane, Drake shared photos of himself and Kendrick Lamar posted up backstage on the Club Paradise tour.

Even if there is some tension between the two rappers these days, we hope that we can end up hearing them collaborating again in the future.

Jordyn Woods Gifts Karl-Anthony Towns $13K Bag For His Birthday

Minnesota Timberwolves star forward Karl-Anthony Towns turned 26 years old yesterday. Although the T-Wolves lost a tight game to the Phoenix Suns, KAT had a stellar game, recording 35 points and 13 rebounds on his b-day.

After the game, Towns’ celebrity girlfriend Jordyn Woods, who was sitting court-side, had a lot in store to celebrate. Woods took Karl to dinner, as she had a mass of people waiting to surprise him when they arrived.

One the fancy dinner had finished, it was time to open presents. Woods went all out for her gift, giving KAT a custom Louis Vuitton handbag, which is retail priced at $13,000. However, it likely costed more than that considering she had “4:13” printed on one side and “K.A.T.” on the other.

“4:13” has a double meaning, as it first commemorates the date Towns lost his mother to COVID-19 on April 13, 2020. It also honors the Bible verse from Philippians 4:13, which says: “I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me.”

Jordyn has been a huge support of Karl during his toughest moments, and their relationship has always been loving and fruitful.

Since getting together last year, KAT and Woods have made it a tradition to give spectacular gifts to each other on their birthdays. In 2020, Jordyn hired an extravagant mariachi band to celebrate KAT’s 25th birthday. For Woods’ “Jordan Year” 23rd birthday, KAT gifted her a Chanel bag and two Hermès Birkin bags, along with a signed Michael Jordan jersey.

It seems that Towns and Woods both love fashionable bags, as they continue to gift expensive ones to each other for their respective birthdays.

Check out KAT’s new Louis Vuitton bag below.

LeBron James Receives Positive Injury Update

LeBron James is one of the most important players in the NBA. When he’s not on the court, his team usually suffers, and that is exactly what we have seen with the Los Angeles Lakers so far this year. The Lakers are a team that lacks chemistry right now, and without LeBron on the floor, they have looked lost at times, despite having superstar talents in Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis.

For the last little while, LeBron has been out with an abdominal injury, and there had been rumors that he would be out for a whopping two months, which would effectively keep him out until early 2022. Now, however, it seems as though LeBron is well on his way to recovery as some believe he could be back as soon as this week.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, LeBron is eyeing to come back on Friday night when the Lakers take on the Boston Celtics. Of course, the Lakers are heading on an Eastern Conference road trip this week that will start in Milwaukee on Wednesday. This is the perfect time to get LeBron back on the floor, and there is a real sense that it is going to happen fast.

The Lakers have yet to confirm LeBron’s place in the lineup, so stay tuned to HNHH as we will be sure to bring you all of the latest updates from the NBA world.

Yung Bleu Shares Hilarious Interaction Between He & Lil Wayne

Last month, Yung Bleu (aka Bleu Vandross aka Bleu) sat down with HNHH for our On The Come Up series and made it very clear that Lil Wayne was, and is, one of his biggest inspirations when it comes to making music.

“Lil Wayne is definitely one of my favorite rappers,” Blue told HNHH. “I feel like he just used to go so hard with the punchlines. Everybody just wanted to say and do them punchlines and see how creative they can get with punchlines. So that was kind of the wave I was on back in the days. Like, I was way more lyrical than I am now.”

Now, it appears that the “You’re Mines Still” rapper is about to get on a track with the man himself. However, in classic Lil Wayne fashion, he let Bleu know that he was going to take over the record.

Jonathan Daniel/Getty Images

In a screenshot of a text conversation between the two posted to Yung Bleu’s IG story, Wayne gets straight to the point.

“I might go more than 16 bars on the intro trak,” Weezy wrote. “That’s kool?”

Bleu did not include his response in the screenshot he posted, but he did acknowledge that the intro track on his next project now belongs to Weezy F. Baby.

“When Wayne say this it’s Wayne song now,” he captioned the text conversation, including a fire emoji and laughing/crying emoji to go along with it.

While most rappers would lament the idea of somebody else outshining them on their own track, getting an idol to spit more than 16 bars on a record is a completely different situation. Based on Bleu’s appreciation for Wayne, it’s almost certain that he’s more than happy giving the YMCMB founder as much time as he wants.

What do you think of Weezy letting Bleu know he was bringing more than 16 bars to the table? Let us know in the comments, and check out Yung Bleu’s full On The Come Up episode below.
