W Magazine Attempts To Pull Travis Scott, Kylie Jenner Cover After Astroworld Fest

The corporate machines who were once lined up for Travis Scott are quietly attempting to distance themselves from the Cactus Jack brand in the wake of the Astroworld Festival. We’ve already heard reports that Nike delayed the release of a collab with Scott due to the deadly crowd surge while Fortnite had reportedly removed a Travis Scott emote that was supposedly launched in support of Astroworld.

Even some media publications are attempting to scrub their association with Scott on the low. According to PageSix, W Magazine is in a last-minute blitz to prevent their next issue featuring Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner from hitting newsstands across the country. The decision to pull the issue comes a little over a week after the incident at Astroworld Fest that led to a death toll of 10 people.

The story with Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner included an extensive interview with the couple who are expecting their second child together. The story was printed before the Astroworld Festival tragedy but as more information emerges about the fatal concert, editors are reportedly scrambling to try and recall the magazine.

“W editors have cleared any planned coverage of Travis and Kylie from their website, but the magazine was already printed, and now they are trying to stop the delivery trucks,” one source told Page Six. “In the light of what happened at Astroworld, the interview and cover lines seem inappropriate, to say the least.”

We couldn’t agree more, W.

Kirsten Dunst Says She Would Reprise Her “Spider-Man” Role If Given The Opportunity

Before there were four separate Spider-Man film franchises, there was just one.

And when a singular Spider-Man film franchise was just a twinkle in the eyes of Marvel fans everywhere, the comic book company and Columbia Pictures were working on finding the perfect person to play the web-slinging superhero. They eventually settled on Tobey Maguire who, despite Tom Holland’s best efforts, remains the most iconic Spider-Man (sorry, Andrew Garfield) and starred in the franchise’s three films from 2002-2007.

But while Maguire played an incredible Spider-Man, it can be argued that Kirsten Dunst was even more iconic in her role as Mary Jane, Spider-Man and Peter Parker’s (the man behind the mask) love interest.

However, in a recent interview with The Independent, Dunst revealed that the wage gap between she and Maguire was “very extreme.”

Noting that she “didn’t even think about it,” because Maguire was “playing Spider-Man,” the literal name behind the film franchise, Dunst said that she was so pivotal to the success of the movies, that her character was featured on the Spider-Man 2 poster, while Maguire was in costume for the same shots.

“You know who was on the cover of the second Spider-Man poster?,” she asked The Independent. “Spider-Man and ME.”

While Dunst railed against the pay disparity she experienced while filming the Spider-Man films, Dunst said she would not hesitate to accept another chance to play MJ.

“I would do it. Why not? That would be fun. I would never say no to something like that,” she said. “I’d be old MJ at this point with little Spidey babies.”

Spider-Man fans would surely open Dunst back onto their big screen with open arms, but at this point, it seems like any type of super-reunion with Maguire is unlikely. Despite rumors that both Maguire and Garfield would appear in the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home, Holland made it very clear that it isn’t happening.

“No, they will not be appearing in this film,” he said.

Would you like to see Dunst reprise her role as Mary Jane? Let us know down in the comments.

RZA Reveals That A Long-Rumored ODB Biopic Is Indeed Happening

Earlier this year, Wu-Tang’s Once Upon A Time In Shaolin album was sold by the government to pay off part of ultra-weasel Martin Shkreli’s $7.4 million forfeiture judgment. But members of The Wu-Tang Clan have stayed plenty busy with other endeavors. For starters, the second season of the Hulu show Wu-Tang: An American Saga came out, and one of its members, RZA, re-launched his series Saturday Afternoon Kung Fu Theater on his platform 36 Cinema, which hosts screenings of old school kung-fu and blaxploitation films, complete with guests and live commentary.

In a recent interview with Mic, where RZA spoke about An American Saga, the 2019 Sacha Jenkins-directed documentary Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics and Men, and the need for Black voices to tell Black stories. He also revealed that he is working on a biopic about Ol’ Dirty Bastard. If you’ve heard about this before, it’s because in 2018, The Hollywood Reporter ran a story revealing the project was green-lit by Columbia Pictures, that it would be produced by RZA, and that a search for a director and screenwriter were underway. Not only that, but he shared that it’s part of a bigger vision:

“The documentary was to capture the story as best we can in the reality of it, and then the TV series was to dramatize it. The third tier of the plan, which I’m in progress of, is an ODB movie biopic. Like the five-year Wu-Tang plan, this was a five-year media plan that I concocted, I meditated on, and I’m striving to live out. So far, it’s working well.”

ODB was a polarizing figure, to say the least, and his life was shrouded in equal parts flamboyance and mystique. A RZA-produced biopic is sure to shed light on his fantastic and mad existence.

Mike Tyson Says Smoking Toad Venom Changed His Life

At his seasoned age of 55, boxing icon and renowned jokester Mike Tyson continues to make headlines with his quirks. Whether it be scheduling a fight with Logan Paul or admitting to crying before fights, there is never a dull moment with Iron Mike Tyson

At Wonderland: Miami, a conference dedicated to psychedelics, micro-dosing and medicine from Nov. 8-9, Mike Tyson was a guest speaker. In promotion of psychedelics, Tyson spoke on how smoking toad venom altered his perspective on life and death: “I ‘died’ during my first trip. In my trips, I’ve seen that death is beautiful. Life and death both have to be beautiful, but death has a bad rep. The toad has taught me that I’m not going to be here forever. There’s an expiration date.”

Smoking “toad” has become a growing hobby among the affluent, but it is a very particular practice. The venom comes from the Sonoran Desert Toad in Mexico. It only spends five months of a year living above ground, and smoking its poisonous venom can induce short psychoactive trips.

In a recent interview on his podcast, Tyson explained how he used to have very low self-esteem in his career, which led him to overcompensate for it with a big ego. He told the crowd at Wonderland that the toad helped him relinquish his ego: “It’s another dimension. Before I did the toad, I was a wreck. The toughest opponent I ever faced was myself. I had low self-esteem. People with big egos often have low self-esteem. We use our ego to subsidize that. The toad strips the ego.”

Tyson says he has smoked toad venom over fifty times in his life, and says he is a completely different person than he was in the prime of his boxing career: “I did it as a dare. I was doing heavy drugs like cocaine, so why not? People see the difference [in me]. It speaks for itself. If you knew me in 1989 you knew a different person. My mind isn’t sophisticated enough to fathom what happened, but life has improved. The toad’s whole purpose is to reach your highest potential. I look at the world differently. We’re all the same. Everything is love.”

Saweetie Explains Her Numerous Album Delays: “It Was A Body Of Work With No Soul”

Over the past three years, Saweetie has made as much noise in the hip-hop industry as humanly possible without an album. Her smash hits like 2018’s “ICY GIRL,” 2019’s “My Type” and 2020’s “Tap In” have helped her stock rise significantly as a sexy, sassy rapper.

Fans have been awaiting Saweetie’s next step in the form of her debut album Pretty Bitch Music for months, as she first announced its supposed release in June. Now, we are here in November, still awaiting the album, and she gave insight on its repeated delays at the MTV European Music Awards in Hungary last weekend: “It’s dropping soon. Honestly, it was a body of work with no soul. So right now I’m working on the details because I really want the world to feel me.”

Saweetie took home the award for “Best New Artist” at the show and performed “Tap In” and “Best Friend (feat. Doja Cat).”

Since Pretty Bitch Music‘s delay in June, which she attributed to being a perfectionist, Saweetie had credited her mother and Cher as voices who have given input and helped shape the album.

As her mother is Filipino and Chinese, she pushed back on some of Saweetie’s apparent reckless use of the Tagalog language on the album, which Saweetie explained did not align with the reserved culture that some in the Philippines live by.

She also said that an encounter with Cher helped her realize the album needed more character and passion: “I thought [the album] was done, but after I met her, I had an epiphany. This album needs to have feelings, it needs to have soul, it needs to have spirit. And I have a lot of room for improvement, so I’m gonna work on that. And once it’s done, the album will be released.”

While Saweetie has not given a release date for the album, hearing these quotes should raise fans’ expectations for the record in terms of quality.

Check out what Saweetie had to say below.

Luka Doncic’s Ankle & Knee Injuries Get Crucial Update

Luka Doncic is one of the best young players in the entire NBA and once LeBron James retires, he is looking to completely take over. The Dallas Mavericks have been off to a great start thanks to Doncic and with each year, he continues to improve. He is so valuable to his team that if he were to get injured, they would be in a heck of a lot of trouble.

Well, last night, the Mavericks got a huge scare as he went down with injuries to his left ankle and knee. Doncic ended up leaving the game against the Nuggets and while the Mavs won, it felt like they were gearing for a humongous L.

Today, the Mavericks got some good news regarding Doncic, however, as it was revealed by Shams Charania of The Athletic that there is no damage to Doncic’s knee or ankle. Despite this, Tim MacMahon of ESPN is now reporting that Doncic will have to miss a few games, however, it isn’t as bad as originally thought. At first, there were fears that he would miss months, now it could just be up to a week or two at most.

This is a developing story so stay tuned to HNHH as we will be sure to bring you all of the latest updates from around the NBA world.

Kate Bush and Big Boi Recorded A Song Together, But Will It Ever Be Released?

Kate Bush once famously took a 35 year hiatus from performing on stage. The iconic British singer and producer is among music’s most notorious recluses. And despite the 2016 Before The Dawn live album, has not released any music since and any news of future releases has remained consistently absent. Until now…

Appearing on The Fader Uncovered Podcast with Mark Ronson this week, Big Boi dropped a bombshell so to speak, that he had not only recorded a song with Bush (whom he idolizes), but that it’s “…a monster hit with Kate Bush — that I’m just holding.” He explained on the show that in 2014, around the time of the Outkast 20th anniversary tour and when Bush came out of that 35 year performance retirement for a 22-date run of shows at the Hammersmith Apollo in London, he and his wife went to see her live. He met Bush backstage after the show, exchanged numbers and stayed in touch. “She’s a very, very, very classy lady,” he said.

Big Boi then details a dinner he went to with Bush at a pub where they sipped “almond cognac,” before eventually working on this mysterious song. “It’s a dream come true and the people are gonna f***ing love it. It’s f***ing incredible,” he says. But he stayed coy on the song’s release, stating that “Whenever I think they deserve it, I’m gonna give it to ’em.” He also intimated that the song could be “that perfect art piece” to go with a visual component necessary for a release as an NFT.

The news of this collaboration really came out of left field, but not so much considering Big Boi looked up to Bush growing up. He revealed that Bush was one of the reasons he got into making music and that he would ride his bike to school as a kid listening to “Running Up That Hill.”

“The world gotta hear it cause it’s uplifting,” he said reflectively of the song. “It’s the last piece of the puzzle as far as my legacy goes.”

Wyclef Jean Accidentally Dropped Land Rover’s CEO From His Shoulders After Playing A Corporate Event

Wyclef Jean is good at many things. Through his solo music and work with the Fugees, he’s become one of hip-hop’s most respected figures. Also, he got pretty famously choked by Dylan (aka Dave Chappelle) that one time, so that’s another resume bullet point. If there’s one thing he’s not awesome at, though, it’s supporting CEOs while they sit on his shoulders.

That’s not just an odd and random thing to say, as TMZ has the story: The rapper was hired to perform at the the Range Rover Leadership Summit, which was attended by Jaguar Land Rover higher-ups, yesterday. After the event, there was an after party at the Edition Hotel in West Hollywood, where Jean was seen carrying Joe Eberhardt, President and CEO of Jaguar Land Rover North America, on his shoulders. In the video obtained by TMZ, Wyclef kind of just sways for a while as Eberhardt sits on him and supports himself by holding onto Jean’s hands. Then, there comes the point where Jean seemingly either attempts to let Eberhardt off his shoulders or just stumbles forward, which sent both Jean and Eberhardt hurtling to the ground.

TMZ notes that Eberhardt left the party early and was “slightly hurt” as Jean “looked embarrassed by the whole thing.”

Land Rover’s slogan is “above and beyond,” but it seems Eberhardt might be best served if he stayed below and close: below shoulder level and close to the ground.

Lil Baby Breaks Down The Cost Of His Outfit

There’s no doubt that Lil Baby strives to look fresh. The Atlanta rapper is constantly flexing his drip on social media, whether it’s the designer clothes he’s rocking or the collection of jewelry he owns. It’s not necessarily new for rappers to spend thousands of dollars on their outfits. Still, fans are always curious to find out just how much their faves spend on clothes.

Chris Smoove of Instagram fame has caught up with plenty of artists in the past to get a breakdown of the cost of their fit. Kanye West has previously appeared in the series where he admitted to not knowing the cost of any of his clothing items with the exception of his watch. DDG and Post Malone also appeared on the series in the past.

Smoove recently caught up with Lil Baby at Day N Vegas this weekend for the latest episode of “How much does your fit cost?” Baby revealed that the chains on his neck were worth roughly $600K while his Balenciaga shirt cost him upwards of $1000. Baby estimated his Dior jacket was around $3000 – $4000 and his plain jane AP watch was worth $200K. Plus, the collection of bracelets on his wrist cost $150K each. Meanwhile, the shoes were only a few hundred while the pants cost roughly the same as his t-shirt.

It shouldn’t be entirely surprising that he’d spend that much on clothes considering he just dropped $150K for a picture of an ape to use as his display picture on social media.
