Police Camp Out In Front Of Yo Gotti’s Restaurant Following Young Dolph’s Death: Report

Police presence in Memphis has heightened this evening following the tragic death of Young Dolph. We have continued to report on the unfolding of this case after Dolph was shot and killed in the hometown that he loved. The rapper was reportedly at a local cookie shop where he was buying items for his mother. It has been stated that a car pulled up and opened fire on the 36-year-old father.

In Hip Hop, rap beefs are common, and Young Dolph was like many of his peers. It was known that he had some unsettling industry moments with the likes of Yo Gotti and Blac Youngsta, and following his murder, there were rumors that retaliation was on the horizon. Police said no violent action on the two rappers or their families has occurred.

It must be noted that nowhere in this investigation has it been stated that either Youngsta or Gotti, or their associates, have anything to do with Dolph’s death. Yet, police have reportedly been camped outside of Gotti’s Memphis restaurant Prive, just 10 miles away from where Young Dolph was killed.

TMZ reported:

It’s currently unclear if there was an actual threat made against the restaurant, or if cops are just being proactive in preventing any possible payback. Dolph’s killer is also unknown at this time, and there have been no public connections to Yo Gotti surrounding his murder.

It is unclear how many suspects investigators are seeking, but they have asked for the public’s help in identifying those responsible.

Cozz Admits He Has Vices In The Vulnerable Video For ‘Addicted’

Cozz has gone almost four years without releasing an album. His last one, Effected, arrived at the beginning of 2018, and since then it’s been mostly loose singles and guest appearances, like “LamboTruck” with Reason, “Don’t Hit Me Right Now” with Bas, Buddy, Guapdad 4000, and Baby Tate, and “Eye To Eye” with fellow Dreamville rapper Lute. Thankfully, Cozz seems to be getting back in the swing, returning with his latest single, “Addicted,” and its accompanying video.

On the track, which Cozz described as a “quick joint with some choice words about a few of my addictions,” Cozz gets vulnerable as he opens up about his many vices, including women on social media, drinking, and his ex. “Ditching my addictions is like switching my pigment,” he raps. “Sh*t if ya got any advice I’m here to listen, we all got plenty of vices and mine no different / Unless we talking be women who grew up without they fathers / So they addictions attention you know.” The video tracks a day in his life filled with said vices.

Prior to “Addicted,” Cozz expressed his gratitude for living to see another day in his video for “Fortunate,” which sees Cozz walk away from a head-on collision that left him with some cuts and bruises.

R. Kelly Associate Sentenced To 96 Months For Setting Witness’s Car On Fire: Report

It was in June 2020 when Azriel Clary, the former girlfriend of R. Kelly, came forward with the shocking news that someone set fire to her vehicle. According to Clary, she was targeted by the arsonist who also poured gasoline around the perimeter of her home, and later, it was reported that Kelly’s associate, Michael Williams, faced charges related to intimidation and “destroying a vehicle by means of fire.”

While the victim in his case remained anonymous, it was widely speculated that Williams was being prosecuted for the crime against Clary. Williams recently learned his fate after pleading guilty to intimidating a witness in Kelly’s case in April of this year.

According to Rolling Stone, Williams was sentenced to 96 months in prison for intimidating the witness. The outlet stated the investigation uncovered that Williams searched online for information related to “detonation properties of fertilizer and diesel fuel,” as well as “witness and witness tampering.” He also reportedly looked up which countries “do not have extradition agreements with the United States.”

“In a violent act designed to instill fear and stop a witness from testifying at trial, Williams set fire to the victim’s vehicle in the middle of the night while it was parked outside of a residence occupied by four adults and two children,” United States Attorney Breon Peace said in a statement. “Intimidating witnesses and threatening the safety of crime victims undermine the very fabric of our judicial system and will never be tolerated. This Office will bring all of its resources to bear against those who commit dangerous acts of violence to silence victims and interfere with the administration of justice.”

The victim, known as Jane Doe, also released a statement via Assistant U.S. Attorney Maria Cruz Melendez: “It is very unfortunate to see a man lose his freedom, however, the crime that was committed was not only vicious but disturbing. My mental state deteriorated tremendously due to fear, invasion of privacy, and trauma among many other things. Because of your actions, I live in fear and have had to relocate my entire life. In that home were not only adults but animals and children under the age of 10. My family is traumatized and has been in distress due to this unlawful act. I hope this life-changing event gives you time to reflect on your actions.”

At the time of the incident, Clary shared photos of the aftermath and was hit with an onslaught of backlash from people who accused her of setting the blaze herself.

The incident occurred during a carjacking and from the onset, Jones has denied that he is responsible for the killing and it has been argued that the true murderer set him up. Lil Nas X’s Hilarious Appearance On ‘Maury’ Is Filled With Baby Daddy Drama

Last week, in another awesome display of promotion and marketing, Lil Nas X announced that he would appear on Maury to sort out some relationship drama. As promised, that episode arrived on Wednesday and it’s filled with equal amounts of comedy and drama. The entire story began with Lil Nas’ “That’s What I Want” video, which he released along with his official debut album Montero. In it, he and his love interest, who is played by Yai Ariza (the singer’s real-life ex-boyfriend), quickly fall for each other, but Lil Nas later finds out that Ariza is hiding a wife and child.

That brings us to the Maury episode. “Montero and Yai are football teammates who quickly became lovers. Montero was shocked to discover soon after that Yai was married with a child,” the video’s description reads. “Now, Montero is here to tell Yai’s wife, Ashley, about their secret love affair. Maury will get the answers they need. Will Montero get exactly what he wants?”

Lil Nas previously spoke about his relationship with Ariza during a past interview on SiriusXM. “We were dating, and we are still on very good terms,” he said. “You know, we may date again I’m sure. I love him, he is amazing.”

You can watch the full episode in the video above.

Tami Roman Gives Husband The Green Light To Have Baby With Another Woman

Those controversial Basketball Wives moments are behind her and Tami Roman has spent the better part of her recent years building her brand. She has appeared on her own Fox Soul series and often pops up on social media alongside her husband, Reggie Youngblood. Their relationship was well-documented while on Basketball Wives, including Tami’s hesitation to take the next step due to their 17-year age difference.

The couple has openly spoken about possibly welcoming children in the future, but 51-year-old Roman recently told The Real that she has no motherhood aspirations at the moment. Instead, she offered up another solution that raised eyebrows.

After telling The Real that her and Reggie’s children plans were “on pause,” Roman explained that she is focused on making business moves, not babies.

“I feel like I’m at a point where my career is starting to do and reward me for all of the time and my efforts that I’ve been in this business and a baby for me right now would just be the thing to do,” said the actress. “A baby for me right now, would just not be the thing to do… So, what I offered him was an opportunity for us to take a break for a year or two and let him go find someone to have a child with. And then when he has his baby, we could get back together.”

Roman added that she would not have any issues with helping to raise the child, but she does not want to endure the physical and mental hardships that come with in vitro fertilization. She already has two adult daughters that she shared with her former NBA star ex-husband Kenny Anderson.

“It’s just…I don’t want to have it, I don’t want to get my eggs,” said Roman. “It’s really about him being able to have his legacy here because he’s an only child. And he does not have any children, so it’s really more for him than it is for me.” Watch below.

Young Dolph’s Murder Causes Politicians To Call For Memphis Curfew

The city of Memphis is tunned by the news of Young Dolph’s murder, and following rumors of retaliation, several politicians are calling for a curfew. Earlier today (November 17), Dolph was reportedly shot and killed while buying cookies for his mother at a local store. The beloved rapper’s murder has shocked the Hip Hop community and beyond, but there have been reports of retaliatory violence against Blac Youngsta and Yo Gotti. The Memphis Police Department reportedly shut down the gossip.

However, ABC24 News reports that City Councilman JB Smiley and Tennesee State Representative London Lamar have publicly pleaded with officials to enact a citywide curfew in the wake of the tragedy.

“Today, we lost a very talented Memphian and star known all across this country,” Smiley reportedly wrote in a statement. “I’m hopeful that the City of Memphis will implement a curfew to preserve the safety of all citizens.” After Mayor Jim Strickland asked “for calm in our city to allow the Memphis Police Department to do their duty to capture those responsible,” Lamar responded with her request.

“Thank you Mayor! I appreciate you speaking out! [praying hands emmoji] Let’s also add a citywide curfew tonight! My fear is that many people are hurting and the violence will continue!” There has yet to be news that a curfew will be set but we will keep you updated as this case unfolds.
