A fan caught Rick Ross off guard during a recent performance by offering him her hand in marriage. Ross shared a video of the girl on social media as she offered Ross a ring.

“Did she ask me to marry her?” Ross asks in a caption over the clip. It’s unclear what the woman is saying.

To the anonymous fan’s dismay, Ross is currently romantically linked to Tanzanian model Hamisa Mobetto. The Port of Miami 2 rapper recently spoke about his relationship with Mobetto during an interview with a local radio station.

“I have to be honest, there is a connection, how much you wanna me to tell you about it? I’m gonna leave that to her. So, I want you to make sure you do an interview with her,” he said.

Ross added that she is killing it and that he’s very proud of her: “She is such a beautiful person, beautiful spirit and she is a huge entrepreneur and I want to help her take it to the next level.”

Ross and Mobetto were spotted getting cozy during a vacation to Dubai, last week.

Matthew McConaughey says he has decided not to run for Texas Governor, updating fans on his long-teased transition into politics. McConaughey explained his decision in a video uploaded to his social media pages, Sunday night.

“As a simple kid born in the little town of Uvalde, Texas, it never occurred to me that I would one day be considered for political leadership. It’s a humbling and inspiring path to ponder. It is also a path that I’m choosing not to take at this moment,” McConaughey said in the clip.

He explains that he still plans to support the state of Texas in other ways for the time being.

McConaughey says he will “continue to work and invest the bounty I have by supporting entrepreneurs, businesses and foundations that I’ve believe are leaders, establishments that I believe are creating pathways for people to succeed in life, organizations that have a mission to serve and build trust while also generating prosperity. That’s the American dream.”

The news comes despite Dallas Morning News conducting a recent poll that placed McConaughey eight points above incumbent Greg Abbott in a head-to-head matchup.

December 13 is the state deadline to enter the race.

The Milwaukee Bucks intend to sign veteran center Demarcus Cousins, according to ESPN’s Adian Wojnarowski. The team is in need of depth at the position after Brook Lopez suffered a back injury, earlier this season.

The contract is expected to be a one-year, non-guaranteed deal.

Cousins reposted a tweet from Shams Charania announcing the signing on his Instagram story, Sunday night.

Cousins recently spent the 2020-21 season with the Houston Rockets and LA Clippers. Before that, he played for the Golden State Warriors, New Orleans Pelicans, and Sacramento Kings.

Over his 10-year career, Cousins has averaged 20.4 points and 10.6 rebounds per game. Since tearing an ACL and an Achilles in recent years, his production has seen a significant drop. Cousins has been selected to four All-Star teams and two All-NBA teams. He was drafted 5th overall by the Kings in the 2010 NBA Draft. He spent seven years with the organization, where he played the best basketball of his career.

The Bucks are currently 13-8 and once again have championship aspirations with superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo. The team took home the title for the first time in 50 years, last season.

Cousins has yet to win an NBA title.

Cardi B reportedly dropped  $5.85 million on her new New York home, which is actually located in Garden City, New Jersey, according to the New York Post. Cardi is also rumored to be spending more than $1 million on improvements.

The Bronx native will now be approximately a 25-minute drive to Washington Heights.

Cardi originally revealed that she was purchasing a New York home on Instagram, earlier this month.

“These days I don’t just live one place, I’m everywhere due to my work,” she explained. “One thing for sure I needed a home in my home city of NY! I’m soo proud of myself. I work so hard for my children to be comfortable everywhere they are regardless of work. Me and my husband have always dreamed of having a crib in NY, and we have decided to add to our portfolio of homes, along with Atlanta and LA. Now having a home in NY, I can have get togethers with my family all the time!! I have accomplished so many things yet I still feel far from all the goals I want to accomplish. This is one dream I can cross off…..Let me know if ya’ll want a mini tour!”

The home reportedly has a movie theatre, a wine cellar, a gym, a powder room, a tennis court, and more.

The Carolina Panthers benched quarterback Cam Newton during the team’s 33-10 loss to the Miami Dolphins, Sunday. Head coach Matt Rhule explained after the game that Newton will remain the starter and that the decision was made to preserve his health.

“At the end of the day we weren’t protecting the quarterback at all,” he explained. “It wouldn’t be fair to keep Cam in there and keep getting him hit.”

Despite only being sacked once, the 32-year-old quarterback was hit on several plays. He finished the game with 92 yards with two interceptions, resulting in a quarterback ranking of a measly 5.8.

Newton said he was fine with the decision to seat him after the game.

“I was fine with that,” he said. “At the end of the day it’s still about being a professional. At that particular point I had more than enough opportunities to keep the game in the balance. There’s no need to put up a fight with that.”

“This is the NFL,” Newton said. “Nothing is promised. Just because Cam Newton is on your roster doesn’t mean you’re going to win. Just because it’s a feel-good story doesn’t mean you’re going to win.”

Kanye West dedicated his Sunday Service show to the late fashion designer, Virgil Abloh, who passed away at the age of 41, Sunday. Abloh had battled privately with cancer for several years.

As West’s service concluded, the screen displayed the message: “In loving memory of Virgil Abloh, the creative director of Donda.”

Abloh had worked with West on numerous occasions, including designing some of his most iconic album covers such as My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and Yeezus. Abloh had also served as the artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s menswear collection since 2018 and founded Off-White.

The legendary designer’s passing was announced in a statement on his official Instagram page.

The post explained: “For over two years, Virgil valiantly battled a rare, aggressive form of cancer, cardiac angiosarcoma. He chose to endure his battle privately since his diagnosis in 2019, undergoing numerous challenging treatments, all while helming several significant institutions that span fashion, art, and culture.”

Tributes from across the world poured out in response to Abloh’s death.

“My plan is to touch the sky 1000 more times for you…love you eternally brother,” Drake wrote on Instagram. “Thank you for everything.”

Abloh is survived by his wife Shannon, as well as his children Lowe and Grey.

Faizon Love says that the star of a sequel to the classic holiday film, Elf, should be Black, after Will Ferrell shot down returning as the main character. Love appeared as a store manager in the original movie.

“I think Elf 2 could happen with Faizon Love,” the comedian recently told TMZ. “What’s wrong with a Black elf? I think America is ready for a Black elf. You had a Black president, you had an orange president, now it’s time for a Black elf. I was surprised [Will Ferrell] he turned down that much money… If they would’ve asked me to do it for some potato chips and $3500 [I’d do it]. He turned down $29 million? Wow. Whoa.”

Ferrell recently explained that he turned down a $29 million dollar offer to star in the sequel because he doesn’t think the film will be all that good. In October, he told the Hollywood Reporter that he wouldn’t be able to promote a project that he doesn’t believe in.

“I would have had to promote the movie from an honest place, which would’ve been, like, ‘Oh no, it’s not good. I just couldn’t turn down that much money,’” he revealed. “And I thought, ‘Can I actually say those words? I don’t think I can, so I guess I can’t do the movie.’”

After sharing concerning posts about her mental health, Rico Nasty has received an outpouring of support from several of the biggest artists in the music industry including Megan Thee Stallion, Juicy J, and more. Rico has been on the receiving end of harassment from fans while performing on Playboi Carti’s King Vamp Tour.

“I dead ass need at least two hours out of each day, just to cry,” the 24-year-old tweeted, Saturday. “Crazy how I wanted a tour bus my whole life and now I just be on the tour bus crying myself to sleep every night.”

A$AP Rocky has been in album mode for quite some time. His upcoming album ALL SMILES has been in the works for a while now, as he has previewed some of its songs at concerts and festivals.

On Saturday (Nov. 27), fans stopped Rocky while he was in his car and had him spit a brief freestyle for them. With a hard-hitting trap beat in the background, Rocky lets off a quick verse about the women in his life and his drug use.

While it is exciting to see Rocky back in his rapping bag, fans in the comments were fixated on his stylish jacket. The Gucci x Balenciaga collaboration he dons is a beige and brown hoodie with the Gucci logo all over the design. The comment section praised it saying “OK but that jacket harder than the actual freestyle” and “That Gucci x balenciaga jacket go so hard.”

This video surfaces a few weeks after Rocky spit a cypher with Andy Milonakis in New York in early November. The momentum Rocky is building towards ALL SMILES is real.

While there is no confirmed tracklist for the project, he was recently seen having dinner with Kanye West and hitting the studio with Young Thug. He landed a feature verse on Thug’s recent project Punk, but they could potentially have a song together on the new Rocky project.
