There may be jokes about Nick Cannon and his bevy of children, but it must be incredibly difficult for the comedian and Alyssa Scott as they continue to mourn the loss of their infant. Scott gave birth to their son, Zen, back in June, but weeks ago, she and Cannon shared that he had passed away from a brain tumor. Both the Wild N Out mogul and model have been quite candid about their emotions during this time, and Scott returned to social media to share a message of support for others “grieving this holiday season.”

“Maybe you close the door to the nursery,” she penned. “Maybe you leave it open. Maybe you have boxed some things away – maybe you still fold and put them in the drawers.”

“This is where I’m at. Walking by his room.. sometimes going in,” she continued. “Washing some of his clothes but putting aside others that still have his scent. A pile is growing because I don’t know exactly what to do but I’m not rushing myself to a decision.” Scott added, “I am thinking of all who are grieving this holiday season. I am also reading your messages and keeping them close to me during this time.”

At the end of November, it was confirmed that actors Tiffany Haddish and Common had ended their relationship after spending over a year together. During a recent interview with Jason Lee, the “Girl’s Trip” star revealed that her ex wasn’t necessarily honest about the reason for their split when speaking to the media.

“I miss him. I miss him from time to time, but that’s with any relationship you might have. You miss them, but I’m fine with it. It’s cool,” Haddish confessed to her friend. She continued, “He might be the type of person that never really settles with somebody, maybe he’s like, you know, like a bee going from flower to flower to flower,” adding that Common “will always be cool.”

When asked about the Resurrection hitmaker’s explanation that he had Haddish simply were spending enough time in the same city to be able to nurture their relationship, she said, “I was very disappointed. I was like, ‘Oh, OK. ‘Cause that’s not what you told me, but OK.'” Lee pushed to find out what Common actually did say when they split, but the 42-year-old refused, saying it was between her and her past partner.

Following this news, Haddish has taken to Twitter to ask for some relationship advice. “I want a man in my life I can share my success with,” she wrote on Christmas Eve. “My joy, my body and all while I feel safe with him, and he feels the same with me. Does anyone know how to make that happen?”

The replies were filled with helpful advice for the comedian. “Girl I’m [giving] you GOLD here.. When he LOOK for love, we SEE things that don’t really exist… Then we get hurt… When we STOP looking, real love finds us. Reason: when we seem hungry, some asshole will try to feed us ANYTHING to have us, but leave us WANTING even worse!”

Haddish responded with, “facts. Well then no more looking for love. Just respect and amazing sex.”

It has been quite an interesting year for Baby Blue. The Pretty Ricky singer had a few serious run-ins this year, both as a shooting victim and as a person accused by federal authorities of scamming the government through a falsified Paycheck Protection Program loan. Of the latter, Blue reportedly took a plea and was sentenced to 20 months in prison. As far as the shooting is concerned, a new report by the South Florida Sun-Sentinel stated that Blue is suing the location where it occurred.

Back in April, we reported on the frightening news that Baby Blue had been shot. Now, more details about the incident have been shared with the public.

According to the Sun-Sentinel, the incident took place in the parking lot of the SpareZ bowling alley. In a civil suit against the venue, Blue claims that they “did not [provide] adequate security that could have thwarted the shooting.” Police stated that Blue went to the bowling alley because he was meeting up with his family. He’d allegedly only been there 20 minutes when the shooting occurred.

Blue was reportedly standing outside with his cousin when “two men with hoodies pulled tightly around their heads and facial coverings approached Smith.”

“Don’t say nothing. Take it off,” one of the men said of Smith’s gold chain and Jesus charm. The man attempted to yank the chain from Smith’s neck when the gun went off striking Smith in the left shoulder. Both men attempted to take the chain and charm but were not successful, police say. Supplemental police incident reports say the bullet broke a few of Smith’s ribs, punctured his lung and became lodged in Smith’s back.

It’s unclear what damages Baby Blue may be seeking in the suit. A representative for the bowling alley has yet to release a statement. On Instagram, Blue alleged that the security guard ran and hid in a restroom instead of helping. Check it out below.

A new study conducted by Oxford Royale has named Meghan Markle as smartest member of the royal family, Complex reports. The education company took into account their academic background, including high school performance and how their colleges are ranked on the QS World University Ranking when ranking royals, with the actresses’ Northwestern education nabbing her the coveted top spot.

Markle studied at the prestigious school in Evanston, Illinois, which comes in at number 30 on 2021’s QS World Rankings. She received a double degree in theatre and international relations back in 2003, which would eventually land her a starring role on Suits, among other projects.

The top five smartest members of the royal family following the mother of two are Kate Middleton and Prince William, who both studied at University of St. Andrews, although the former received better grades than her husband. After the couple comes Princess Eugenie, and then Peter Phillips.

“Life as a royal isn’t always an easy job and involves a lot of dealing with extensive scrutiny and life in the public spotlight, and Meghan Markle’s academic strengths have equipped her perfectly for this role,” a spokesperson for Oxford Royale told the New York Post.

“While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex may have resigned from their roles as working royals, they have captured the interest and attention of the world, and Meghan’s desire to use her platform to raise awareness over serious world issues reflects her intelligence, analytical mind and educational pedigree.”

Complex notes that Prince Harry wasn’t included in the ranking due to his lack of college education.

It’s almost time for Baby J’s arrival, and Jeezy and Jeannie Mai are ready for the new addition. The couple is expecting their first child together, and Mai’s first child overall, and they have kept fans updated with the progress of their pregnancy through vlogs, blogs, interviews, and social media. Mai previously shared that she had no interest in becoming a mother, but after meeting and marrying Jeezy, she was ready for parenthood.

Hours ago, Jeannie gave a sneak peek into their Winter Wonderland-themed baby shower and fans couldn’t help but reference Jeezy’s “Snowman” nickname.

“Baby J is surround by a tribe of QUEENS,” Jeannie wrote in a caption to a post. “I’m so thankful for my family of WOMEN who have helped me through this pregnancy with joy, wisdom, and savage ass moments to prep for it all  I love you ladies and thank you thank you for this beautiful surprise shower!!!”

In another, she added, “How am I falling in love again…but this time with someone I’ve never met? Baby J isn’t even here yet– yet bringing together our friends and family in a way only God can do. Thank you, thank you to all our friends who threw this shower of love. And thank you to the one and only @katrinaselegantevents who turned our home into a winter wonderland.”

It’s become a yearly tradition for the Kardashian family to get as many members of their wide-stretching clan together for a holiday photo for some time now, but the 2021 edition of their Christmas card is missing far more faces than normal.

Now that the holidays have arrived, Kim has debuted this year’s photo dump, which sees her, little sister Khloe, and mom Kris Jenner posing alongside a group of children, all of them wearing matching cozy pyjama sets, most likely from KKW’s SKIMS clothing and shape wear brand.

“Merry Christmas” the mother of four captioned her post. Her children, North (8), Saint (6), Chicago (3), and Psalm (2) all made it to this year’s shoot. In one photo, Kim and Saint can be seen sharing a sweet smooch, and in another, Chicago can be seen smiling as she lays out upside down across her mother’s leg. 

Another shot sees Psalm sitting solo, wearing a straight faced expression that shows his uncanny resemblance to his father, Kanye West. Khloe’s daughter True was also part of the Christmas festivities, as well as Rob Kardashian’s little girl, Dream, who he shares with Blac Chyna.

Rob, who has distanced himself from the spotlight in recent years, was not pictured on the card, and neither were Kendall or Kylie Jenner, or Kylie’s young daughter, Stormi. In the past, some of the sister’s partners or baby daddies have been photographed, but this year that didn’t happen for obvious reasons.

Kim is currently exploring a new relationship with comedian Pete Davidson as she separates from Ye, and Khloe has been dealing with the drama of the father of her child, Tristan Thompson, allegedly fathering a baby with someone else while in a public relationship with her.

In brighter news, Kris Jenner has been spreading plenty of holiday cheer this year, teaming up with Kourtney Kardashian and her fiancé Travis Barker for an upbeat cover of “Jingle Bell,” which you can stream here.

For those who have lost a loved one, the holidays can be a particularly difficult season. In August 2020, devastating news was shared about Frank Ocean’s 18-year-old brother, Ryan Breaux, who passed away following a car accident in Thousand Oaks, California. The tragedy has been understandably heartbreaking for Ocean’s family, and the singer’s mother penned a message on social media asking people not to send her holiday greetings.

Although Tonya Breaux is thankful for her friends, family, and supporters, she wanted them to know that not everyone is feeling as cheery this time of year.

“I’m so grateful for the people that love me,” she wrote. “So incredibly grateful. I just have one request. Please, refrain from texting or messaging me any Merry this or Happy that messages. Maybe next year, but not this year. I know you want to show love but when I look at my phone and see 50 messages like this, it’s just more triggering than helpful. So instead, send love through the universes.”

“I’ll feel it. I promise. Thank you in advance [praying hands emoji][blue heart emoji].” Although she did not explicitly state this was about the loss of her son, a new wave of well wishes has taken over timelines. Read through more below.

NeNe Leakes has been spending plenty of time with her new boyfriend, Nyonisela Sioh. The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum shared a video driving around with her “silver fox” blasting music as they share smiles and laughs. “Happy xmas eve,” she wrote with a red heart emoji.

The festive message comes just hours after @stp_temp on Instagram shared photos of he and the reality star getting close and kissing in a club. “Since mf’s wanna leak my shit and run false headlines might as well share the truth,” he wrote.

“Last few months been amazing and eye opening. Nothing but love for you Linnethia and I wish you the best,” he concluded his post. Screenshots uploaded to The Shade Room reveal that the same account also shared a sneaky link selfie of him laying shirtless in bed next to NeNe, who appears to be asleep in a white tank top.

Other clips uploaded show NeNe and her alleged hook up seemingly turning up and listening to music. “Even if I hit you once you part of my collection,” lyrics from Future’s “My Collection” can be heard playing over @stp_temp’s Instagram story, where he shared his feed post about their situationship for more people to see.

From what we can decipher, it seems as though Temp and NeNe may have hooked up, or at the very least, spent some time together, and now that she’s in a new relationship he’s feeling some type of way. The Shade Room reports that the man claims he and the socialite were “more than cut buddies but less than exclusive,” also adding that their relationship “hasn’t really ended.”

Despite his claims, NeNe only seems concerned with Nyonisela, as she’s been sharing plenty of footage of their romantic date nights to her profile.

Authorities from coast to coast have warned against dangers this holiday season, but it was the Los Angeles Police Department that made headlines for killing a teenage girl. An L.A. family is grieving the loss of 14-year-old Valentina Orellana Peralta after she was struck by a stray bullet while trying on clothes inside of a Burlington Coat Factory dressing room in North Hollywood.

According to several reports, police reportedly got a call about a “possible shooting” and when they arrived, they found two people arguing. LAPD Capt. Stacy Spell stated, “While conducting that search for a suspect, the officers encountered an individual who was in the process of assaulting another, and an officer-involved shooting occurred.”

It is unclear if the suspect, a man, had a weapon as reports vary on whether or not a firearm was located. However, an officer did fire off shots, killing both the suspect and Valentina.

“We went behind it (the wall), and it turned out to be a dressing room up there,” LAPD Assistant Chief Dominic Choi said. “We were able to locate a 14-year-old female who was found deceased in that dressing room… Preliminarily, we believe that round was an officer’s round.”

“This chaotic incident resulting in the death of an innocent child is tragic and devastating for everyone involved,” Police Chief Michel Moore said in a statement. “I am profoundly sorry for the loss of this young girl’s life and I know there are no words that can relieve the unimaginable pain for the family.”

Another person was reportedly injured and is being treated. Meanwhile, Burlington issued a statement about the incident: “At Burlington, our hearts are heavy as a result of the tragic incident that occurred today at our North Hollywood, CA store,” the spokesperson said in a statement. “Our top priority is always the safety and well-being of our customers and associates.”

18-year-old Natalia Bryant and her mother Vanessa are taking the world by storm after spending some time mourning the loss of their father and husband, Kobe Bryant. Most recently, the duo teamed up with prestigious makeup company Lancôme for a sentimental holiday ad that’s definitely effective.

“When was the last time we like, got ready together for something,” Natalia can be heard asking her mom as the ad begins. “It’s been so long,” Vanessa responds, before praising the Lancôme foundation that she’s applying to her face. “We can do like an everyday beauty makeup routine, or like, if you wanna do like a full-on glam look, you could do that too,” Natalia explains.

The mother-daughter duo then has a more emotional moment, with Vanessa recalling a time from her eldest daughter’s high school years that warms her heart. “The first time I helped you get ready for prom, it was very emotional. Actually, it was your first homecoming dance. It was homecoming, and I think you came down the stairs, and I was in tears,” the mother of four told Natalia, who couldn’t wipe the wide smile off of her face.

“Cuz you’re all grown up, you know?” she continued, before the move on to talking about Lancôme’s mascara products. “You look fabulous, as usual,” Vanessa compliments Natalia, who can be seen wearing a glitzy gold dress that pairs perfectly with her mama’s stark red look. “So grown, I’m gonna cry,” she gushed while holding the young woman’s hand.
