As Omicron continues to spread, the CDC has decided to drastically shorten the standard isolation period for anyone that receives a positive COVID-19 test. For some time now, it’s been expected that anyone with the virus would spend 10 days minimum in isolation, but now, that’s been cut in half. 

“Given what we currently know about COVID-19 and the Omicron variant, CDC is shortening the recommended time for isolation from 10 days for people with COVID-19 to five days, if asymptomatic, followed by five days of wearing a mask when around others,” a statement from the organization reads.

What this means is that if you’re not experiencing any symptoms, after just five days you’re free to re-enter society – as long as you continue to wear a mask, that is. According to Uproxx, those who come into contact with someone who’s tested positive also face the same five-day isolation recommendation.

The reason for the change is partially because “SARS-CoV-2 transmission tends to occur early on in one’s illness, usually one to two days before symptoms kick in and then for 2 or three days after,” the article notes.

Following the news being released early this morning, plenty of people headed to Twitter to express their emotions, both positive and negative. “The CDC cutting the required isolation time is a sign things are collapsing, causing the government to become increasingly blatant and cruel in its desperation to enforce capitalism,” one frustrated user wrote.

It’s been nearly two years since we were first introduced to the interesting characters of Netflix’s internet-breaking docu-series Tiger King, but the show continues to make headlines. The second season premiered just over a month ago, although the new episodes didn’t bring much good news in the story of Joe Exotic and our other favourites.

Over the past few months, two of the zookeepers who appeared on the show have died – Erik Cowie, who passed due to acute and chronic alcohol abuse in September, and Jeff Johnson, who reportedly committed suicide. Complex reports that more bad news has arrived, as the show’s producers and Netflix have now been hit with a copyright infringement lawsuit.

The suit from Morgan Creek Productions says that Tiger King used two clips from Ace Ventura 2 “without permission or license.” The documents read, “leaving no room for doubt as to the source, a dubbed-over voice identifies one such movie as Ace Ventura, at the precise time when the Infringing Clips appear on-screen. Plaintiff is informed and believes, and thereupon alleges, that Ace Ventura is the only film used in Tiger King where more than one clip appears.”

Clips used in the docuseries include one that sees star Jim Carrey “triumphantly riding an elephant,” and the second features the Canadian with a cute monkey wrapped around his upper body. Morgan Creek has asked to be awarded damages in the suit.

Kris Jenner did Christmas big this year. At the start of the holiday, she surprised her friends and fans by teaming up with Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker to cover “Jingle Bells,” and now, she’s surprised her six children with custom electric Moke cars, spending a reported $130,000 on the amazing gifts.

Kim, the family’s second-oldest, shared a video of the line-up of vehicles to her Instagram story, saying, “oh my God, look at our Christmas presents from my mom!” In the row of cars, several different colours can be seen, including yellow, pink, white, and orange. “For all of her kids,” KKW continued before one of her children added, “and me.” 

“And you, yes,” the mother of four responded with a laugh. “Thank you, mommy,” text written over the clip reads. As the SKIMS founder stops in front of one of the white cars she says, “how cool,” before noticing a skull design located on the hood. “Oh this HAS to be Kourtney and Travis for sure,” she said, zooming in to give viewers a closer look.

Speaking of Kravis, they’ve been making headlines on their own account after the Blink-182 drummer shared what looks like a baby bottle in his Instagram story yesterday. While it’s unlikely he and Kourt have popped one out, it is far more possible that little sister Kylie Jenner has given birth, which is what some internet sleuths have been speculating.

Continuing down the row of cars, Kim said, “Khloe and I got the pink ones,” showing off the large, beautiful white bows placed on top of each. It’s unclear which siblings claimed the other colours, but one thing’s for sure – Kris Jenner knows how to give one hell of a gift.

Page Six notes that Jenner isn’t a stranger to Moke – she previously received a fully customized car of her own on Christmas in 2017, with the company’s CEO Todd Rome personally delivering the present to the beloved momager.

Days after celebrating what would’ve been the late Kim Porter’s birthday with a heartfelt Instagram tribute, Diddy has sold the Toluca Lake mansion where she was tragically found dead at just 47 years old in November of 2018.

“Happy birthday THE QUEEN. @ladykp! There will never be another! The Epitome of Grace and Love. I miss you. I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I LOVE YOU! Happy Birthday baby,” the Harlem native captioned a stunning portrait of his lover on December 15th.

According to TMZ, Diddy officially has a pending deal for $7 million on the house where Porter lost her battle with pneumonia that’s due to close this week, noting that, as of right now, the sale isn’t final. 

The 9,655 square foot estate is said to contain six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. Besides that, it offers plenty of luxuries including a family-sized pool and spa, as well as a sports court.

The “I’ll Be Missing You” singer first listed the property back in October. Seeing as it sits on “one of the most famous streets in the San Fernando Valley,” it’s no surprise that it only took a few months to find new owners. Rumour has it that other celebrities who reside in the area include Sia, Viola Davis, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Steve Carell.

Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian are back in the rumour mill. This time around, fans are speculating that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star could be expecting after her fiance shared an interesting photo to his Instagram story.

On Sunday, December 26th, the Blink 182 drummer uploaded a picture of his festively decorated home, with How the Grinch Stole Christmas playing on the television. Although it wasn’t the focal point of the photo, observant internet sleuths happened to notice a small baby bottle with what looks like milk in the bottom right corner.

“Hi @travisbarker you can’t just post a pic of a baby bottle and be like ‘Imma just leave this here,'” a curious follower wrote under their screenshot of the 46-year-old’s story. As Page Six notes, the recently engaged couple hasn’t officially announced that they’re expecting, although Kourt made the decision to freeze her eggs a few years back, so the idea of them having a baby together isn’t entirely absurd.

Since it’s unlikely that the mother of three gave birth, eyes have turned to 24-year-old Kylie Jenner, who’s been carrying her second child with Astroworld artist, Travis Scott. Her due date has never been made public knowledge, although she has shared more of her pregnancy journey with fans this time around than she did with their first child, 3-year-old Stormi Webster.

“Y’all peep that baby bottle in Travis Barker’s IG story? $20 Kylie had that baby,” a Twitter user posted earlier this evening. Interestingly enough, both Kourtney and Kylie were absent from this year’s annual Kardashian Christmas card, along with Kendall, and Kanye West.

Earlier today, Ari Fletcher began causing a stir online when word of her Don’t Call Me White Girl podcast episode got out. During the interview, the 26-year-old opened up about her relationship with Moneybagg Yo, and how it’s healthier than anything she’s ever been in.

While chatting with her friend, the mother of one admitted that she’s been the toxic person in her previous relationships, revealing that she even used to enjoy having men pull their guns out when she would dramatically cause a fight and threaten to leave.

“Like, pull your gun out and show me like, ‘bitch leave. I wish you would walk out the door,’” she told the podcast host when explaining toxic scenarios she used to enjoy. The controversial comments have been getting plenty of attention online and even earned Fletcher a video from Apple Watts, who had plenty to say.

“Ari, like, you’re beautiful, but bitch! Humble yourself,” the Love & Hip Hop: Miami star told Fletcher in an Instagram video. “‘Nobody cares, nobody cares.’ I’m with the gangster shit, right? I’m like yeah, that turn me on. Choke me. But I’m the bitch to choke a n*gga, I’m the bitch to pull the burner out, but baby girl! Why you gotta be so stuck up?”

Apple continued her rant, “you’re like a tampon, so stuck up. We get it! You got money. We get it. But you ain’t gotta be an asshole to bitches who got beat up by n*ggas. Bitch, you ain’t got beat up before or something! Because you need to humble yourself. A bitch with money. This how you know project bitches get money.”

She didn’t relent when coming down on Ari, adding, “you get too happy bitch. You need a bitch to humble yourself,” wagging her finger at the camera while speaking passionately. “You talk too much on the internet, and then you wanna downgrade bitches that got beat up by n*ggas in domestic violence.”

Apple concluded, “humble your weird-ass self, bitch. You got a little money and you got a little d*ck, and now you’re talking too much. Relax your breath, bitch, cuz I ain’t one of them hoes.”

The clip has been making rounds on social media, with the internet seemingly divided on how they feel about the reality star’s rant. Cuban Doll took to Twitter to defend Ari, writing, “leave Ari alone, she a strong Black mother! Y’all swear y’all support the Black community but try to downplay every situation like y’all are perfect!”

Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty lingerie company has had a constant roster of famous faces repping it since its 2018 inception, but RiRi hasn’t hesitated to cut people’s brand deals when they step out of line, including Draya Michele, who was seemingly dropped back in 2020 following problematic comments she made on a podcast.

While reflecting on what she hopes to bring in in the new year, the 36-year-old wrote “I would like my @savagexfenty deal back in 2022. Just wishful thinking,” overtop a photo of her wearing a bold red set from the “Love on the Brain” singer while posing for the camera. 

After the post made its way onto The Shade Room, Michele hopped into the comments to further speak her mind. “The thing about it is I’m human,” she explained. “And I make mistakes, but the only difference between me and everyone else is my mistakes were made in front of the world as well as my consequences.”

“I definitely learned a lot from this experience and I was adamant about making sure my apology was as loud as a harmful comment. I played myself, I made triggering comments, was reprimanded, and apologized. All in front of y’all. That’s growth. Bouncing back,” she concluded.

While appearing on a podcast not long after the infamous shooting incident between Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion occurred, Michele was recorded giving her take on what may have happened that night, saying, “I predict that they had some sort of Bobby and Whitney love that drove them down this type of road and I’m here for it – I like that. I want you to like me so much you shoot me in the foot too.”

After the episode aired, the Pennsylvania native found herself facing plenty of backlash, and was subsequently cut from the Fenty family. In a tweet sent out in July of 2020, the model wrote, “I truly don’t glorify domestic violence… I was trying to say just love me deeply. But while trying to be funny I offended many, including Meg. And I’m sorry.”

After feuding with 50 Cent on Instagram, it looks like 63-year-old Madonna has a new rapper to publicly go back and forth with – Tory Lanez. According to the “Like A Virgin” singer, a new song by the Canadian recording artist sounds a little bit too similar to one of her older works.

Screenshots nabbed by TMZ show a comment from the pop star underneath one of Lanez’s recent posts, which says, “read your messages for illegal usage of my song ‘Get Into The Groove’!”

From the sounds of things, Madonna has been trying to get in contact with the “Freaky” rapper regarding the issue for some time now. The song that she’s taken issue with is “Pluto’s Last Comet,” the eighth track from his new 80s album, Alone At Prom, which arrived on December 10th.

Several listeners have compared the 29-year-old’s latest drop-off to The Weeknd, with some even accusing Lanez of jacking his fellow Ontario native’s musical style for the project.

It remains unclear if Madonna has plans to take legal action, or if the Brampton-born recording artist took the time to get back to her regarding her comment, but Lanez has no shortage of other issues to deal with at the moment. As you may already know, he was recently in court for proceedings regarding his incident with Megan Thee Stallion, during which he reportedly yelled “dance bitch, dance” at her while shooting at the ground near the “Body” rapper’s feet, resulting in an injury. 

According to TMZ, back in May, a Love & Hip Hop: Miami cast member also accused the “LUV” hitmaker of attacking him in a nightclub. Here’s to hoping he’s able to stay out of court with Madonna.

Not long after she made waves with an unreleased rap track, Ari Fletcher has once again turned the internet upside down – this time, for her comments about some toxic behaviour she used to engage in with her romantic partners. Currently, she’s dating Moneybagg Yo, and during a recent interview she opened up about what their life together is like.

While on the Don’t Call Me White Girl podcast, Ari explained, “we don’t have like, a toxic thing where we like… We like to talk about everything. Like, I’m mad, this is why I’m mad, and this is what needs to happen moving forward so this don’t make me mad no more.” The mother of one added, “we’re like real adults – it’s weird. I’ve never been like this before.”

When the host responded, “I don’t think I’ve ever had something that wasn’t toxic before,” also whispering “because I think I’m the toxic one,” Fletcher replied, “me too,” before diving back into her partnership with the “Scorpio” rapper.

“He make me feel like, how old is you? Like, grow the f*ck up. Yeah, he do that to me,” she admitted, revealing that her boyfriend makes her question some of her more problematic and immature thought patterns.

The 26-year-old then shared some of the more toxic behaviours that she used to engage in, including throwing dramatic temper tantrums to make it seem like she was about to leave them in hopes to see the man in her life put up a fight for her to stay. One particularly controversial comment she made was, “Like, pull your gun out and show me like, ‘bitch leave. I wish you would walk out the door.’”

She continued, “I’m going to just sit down because I got a son and I’m not trying to die – I got a son. So I’m only staying because I got a son and I don’t want you to shoot me.”

After the podcast episode aired, Fletcher found herself facing some heat for her words. “Ari Fletcher been a clown so idk why it’s such an uproar that she promotes toxic relationships,” one Twitter user wrote. “This is the type [of] ‘relationship goals’ that y’all idolize in these rappers and their girlfriends/baby mamas until there’s domestic violence involved.”

The Chicago-born star didn’t take long to hop on Instagram Live to explain her trending comments. “The podcast was amazing, I had a fun, beautiful time… Y’all, please go tune into the podcast – I’m so glad this got so much attention because my girl about to blow up! I mean that’s what it’s really all about like nobody cares about all the negative stuff. Let’s stay focused on what this is really about.”

“All of y’all with the [gun comments]. First of all, you probably don’t even have a man, and two, if somebody wants their man to pull out a gun, that’s what they want! Like nobody cares, joking or not, it’s none of your business. Stop tryna do a thing, why the f*ck y’all victimize yourself?”

One of the most iconic Jumpman shoes of all time is the Air Jordan 6. This is a silhouette that came out all the way back in 1991, which means this year was the shoe’s 30th anniversary. There were a ton of Jordan 6 releases as a result, and as we head into 2022, it appears as though Jumpman has every intention of keeping up the momentum. Among those offerings is the Air Jordan 6 “Georgetown,” which can be found in the photoshop rendering below. In the eyes of some fans, this shoe might as well be called a ‘Cowboys” colorway. This is because the entire upper is covered in grey, all while the little highlights on the back heel and midsole are navy blue. These colors work perfectly together, and if you’re a sneakerhead, then this color scheme should come as familiar territory to you.
