A recent Jack Harlow concert in Atlanta has caused a stir with the Cobb County Police Department. Harlow’s shows aren’t usually places that go viral over scandals or controversies, but after the rapper received a brief clip of an interaction between one of his fans and a police officer, Harlow shone a light on what he says was a blatant misuse of authority. In the video, a Black woman is seen yelling at two officers, telling them that all she wants to do is to go to Harlow’s concert. In the middle of the confrontation, one of the officers grabbed her by the neck.

“I look out in the crowd every night and see black women in my front row…screaming my lyrics, traveling to see me, supporting me, riding for me,” Harlow wrote on Instagram.

“I want this woman, and every black woman that supports me to know – I am so sorry. I want you to be protected and I want this guy to lose his job so f*cking fast. I love you. Let’s find this officer.” The incident is reportedly being investigated and a statement has been issued regarding the officer’s actions.

“The Cobb County Police Department takes any and all allegations of officer misconduct very seriously,” a spokesperson for the police department said. “We are aware of the video snippet posted to Instagram involving our officer and a young woman outside the Coca-Cola Roxy. The incident is going through an internal review to get a full understanding of the entire incident before any potential action is taken.”

Paul George has one of the best and most consistent signature sneaker lines in the basketball world right now. Fans have been enjoying every single new model that comes out, and with 2022 on the horizon, fans are anticipating more greatness with the Nike PG 6. After a disappointing PG 4, Nike was able to right their wrongs with a PG 5 that brought the line back to its roots. It was a shoe that had people excited, and now, a new offering is on the horizon.

Unfortunately, there are no teasers of the PG 6 floating around online. Nike has done a great job of keeping this new shoe under wraps, however, some information about the sneaker is finally starting to leak out.

According to Sneaker Bar Detroit, this model will actually be dropping on January 13th of next year. This means the shoe is only a couple of weeks away, which is a pretty good indication that some product images will be upon us very soon. After all, Nike wouldn’t expect fans to buy some kicks without them knowing what they’re getting into.

A question posed by Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star Erica Dixon has resulted in a bit of backlash. Dixon rose to fame after appearing on the VH1 series alongside Lil Scrappy, her ex and father of their daughter. The pair’s tumultuous relationship made for a storyline that continues to captivate reality television audiences, but their drama wasn’t what caused Dixon’s uproar on social media.

Dixon recently asked, “I heard a straight guy saying another guy was nice looking. Am I tripping or that’s a red flag?”

The responses took over her timeline as the question went viral, and both Pretty Ricky’s Baby Blue, as well as Tammy Rivera, had a bit to say about it.

“Nah, that’s super homophobic to think a guy can’t compliment another guy,” Blue commented. “A man with alot of confidence that is secure with his sexuality not only can give a male a compliment but he can also have gay friends or family members and not feels compromised. This is 2022! We gotta do better.”

Later, Blue added, “Btw, I love Scrappy and his family! We just having an open conversation with instagram at this point. She was just asking a question. I’m sure she meant no harm.” Rivera commented on Hollywood Unlocked’s post about Blue’s reaction.

Over the years, the Air Jordan 1 has received a ton of different variations. One such model is the Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT which has been getting a lot of love over the past year. Jumpman has been releasing a ton of new colorways, and fans are eager to get their hands on as many as possible. Of course, 2021 is coming to an end which means 2022 is on the horizon. To ring in the New Year, Jordan Brand is planning more Zoom CMFTs, including the “Celestine Blue” model below.

As you can see in the images below, this shoe has some vibrant yet soft tones. The base of the upper is mostly made with a light pink, all while the overlays are cloud blue and lavender. From there, the Nike swoosh has a darker blue aesthetic with some nice textures. Overall, this is one of the most unique Jordan 1s we have seen in a very long time, which means fans will certainly appreciate it.

We’re not sure if Nicki Minaj will be a Bravo TV regular after helping host the Real Housewives of Potomac reunion, but the rapper is clearly a fan of the series. Minaj took some time to join Andy Cohen and the cast of the popular franchise when they gathered together to reflect on the ups and downs of the latest season. The reactions to Minaj’s appearance were monumental as her Barbz tuned in to watch her grill the women on their most controversial moments.

Minaj’s relationship with the cast didn’t end there, because the Rap icon surprised several children of certain cast members with lavish holiday gifts.

Gizelle Bryant uploaded a video of her daughters showing off their presents from Nicki and it’s clear that they are more than thrilled.

“I’m SPEECHLESS! So I’ve never bought my girls high end bags because I always wanted to keep them HUMBLE,” wrote Gizelle. “Always felt like humility and gratitude is way more important than stylin and profilin for children. So for their 1st @gucci bag to be gifted by the MEGA ICON SUPERSTAR @nickiminaj for Christmas is PRICELESS! Nicki my kids are screaming thru the house [crying laughing emoji] You have made their YEAR! Thank you for being so sweet, this is beyond special!!”

Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors have been on a role as of late, however, much like some of the other teams in the league, the Warriors have been struck with COVID-19 cases. As a result of these issues, the Warriors ended up losing to the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday by a score of 89-86. 

Tonight, the Warriors were set to face the Nuggets again, however, the NBA decided to postpone the match as the Nuggets were dealing with a plethora of COVID cases. This decision had Green feeling a bit upset and slighted, especially considering the fact that the NBA did not extend the same courtesy to the Warriors.

As you will see in the tweets below, Green believes the NBA needs to implement the same rules all across the board. In his eyes, the game should be goind down tonight, as planned.

“How do you continue to cancel games when you’ve implemented rules to prevent this from happening? Is that not a competitive advantage for other teams? The guys we didn’t have due to the protocol list played no role in Tuesdays loss? Pick a side but don’t straddle the fence,” Green wrote. “So when the game is rescheduled(which will probably take a day away from our “break”), we wil play them at full strength… But they got to sneak a win when we weren’t at full strength, only two days ago??? Let’s make it make some sense here.”

The NBA has had to make some very difficult decisions this season, and they won’t get any easier as the pandemic continues to march forward. Hopefully, the league can rein things in once the new year is upon us.

A slight criticism of Kanye West has made Safaree Samuels a target. The reality star rapper has often created social media controversy with his pop culture commentary, and earlier today (December 30), Samuels dropped off an observation about Ye and his fashion. The Chicago icon has been a leading force in fashion for years and the lines of his influence have blurred between industries, but the Love & Hip Hop star isn’t as impressed as everyone else seems to be.

We previously reported on Safaree tweeting, “I’ve always been a Kanye fan but I really hate how he’s been dressing these last 2 years. He use to be inspiration with clothes and jewelry. Now this guy just wears hoodies and black gloves and it bothers me.”

The backlash was quick after screenshots of the tweet were thrown around social media and R&B veteran Tank weighed in with a reaction that rubbed Safaree the wrong way.

“Says the guy with no clothing line, no clothing endorsements, and absolutely no fashion sense [sideways laughing emojis],” wrote Tank. Samuels replied, “Hey I use to be a fan of you… now you suck [upset emojis].” Although it was a semi-playful interaction, Tank wasn’t the only one to add his voice to this conversation. Baker Mayfield has been dealing with a few struggles out on the field this season. The Cleveland Browns have not been particularly good and with his shoulder all mangled, Mayfield has not been able to get the leverage he typically has when throwing the football. Either way, Mayfield knows he could be playing better, especially after throwing a grand total of four interceptions against the Green Bay Packers.

Unfortunately, fans have been particularly mean to Mayfield and this includes death threats. The quarterback’s wife posted some of these death threats on social media recently, and today, Mayfield addressed them with the media. As Mayfield explains, they are simply stupid trolls who have no intention of doing anything. He also noted that the team will not intervene in this matter.

On Monday, Mayfield and his teammates will take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in a game that could decide their fate this season. Hopefully, Mayfield is able to block out the noise and give fans one of his best performances of the entire year.
