Dallas’ own Mo3, known for his unique brand of raw street gospel, continues to inspire fans and artists from Texas and beyond. Today, his estate partners with his record label, H$M Music, and EMPIRE to release a new video for “AR,” a standout track from Mo3’s posthumous album Legend. The track features rising Dallas rapper BigXThaPlug and Bay City rapper That Mexican OT, who both pay tribute to Mo3’s impact on Texas rap.
In “AR,” BigXThaPlug delivers powerful, bass-heavy triplets, while That Mexican OT spits fiery verses, dubbing Mo3 the “King of Texas.” Despite their compelling performances, Mo3 remains the star, with his soulful melodies and rapid-fire rhymes anchoring the track.
The “AR” video, set in Dallas, showcases BigX and OT visiting one of Mo3’s favorite spots, Big Mama’s Chicken And Waffles. They ride dirtbikes and cruise in vintage cars, celebrating Mo3’s legacy. The video includes clips of Mo3 performing and features ‘LL3’ chains, emphasizing the lasting impact of his music.
Though Mo3 is no longer with us, his legacy continues to inspire a new wave of melodic rap, proving that his influence on the genre and his fans endures.
