Megan Thee Stallion Stuns On “ELLE” Cover Styled By Law Roach: Photos

Tory Lanez and his legal team are fighting with all their might to secure a retrial in his shooting case. Elsewhere, Megan Thee Stallion is making it abundantly clear that she’s ready to move on with her life. Earlier this week, a deputy District Attorney revealed that the rap diva is eager to close this chapter as the Canadian artist pursues his freedom amid various obstacles and delays. Following that, the Houston native unveiled stunning photos from her ELLE Magazine cover shoot on Tuesday (April 18). All of them see her wearing outfits put together by retired celebrity stylist, Law Roach.

Designs worn by the “Big Ole Freak” artist on set came from brands like Ferragamo, Else Peretti, Tiffany & Co., Michael Kors, Cartier, and Dolce & Gabbana. In one particularly captivating snapshot, Thee Stallion sits on the floor. She gives the camera a sultry, inviting glance in her chocolate brown custom net dress from Loewe. On the cover photo, Roach and Thee Stallion opted for another visually intriguing piece. A caged coat from Alaïa which beautifully reveals her hourglass silhouette beneath, draping over the platform she’s sitting on.

Thee Stallion didn’t take the traditional interview route for her latest project with ELLE. Instead, the multi-talent chose to pen a reflection on her healing journey in wake of Lanez’s guilty verdict last year. “I don’t want to call myself a victim. As I reflect on the past three years, I view myself as a survivor, because I have truly survived the unimaginable,” Megan’s empowering message begins. “Not only did I survive being shot by someone I trusted and considered a close friend, but I overcame the public humiliation of having my name and reputation dragged through the mud by that individual for the entire world to see.”

The 28-year-old went on to express the trauma she’s still battling as a result of not being believed, not to mention her physical injuries. Of course, she’s happy to see the man responsible for her pain behind bars, but the recording artist also accepts responsibility for the role she plays in her own healing while moving forward with her life.
