LeBron James Gets Some Good News

LeBron James is easily one of the greatest players in the history of the NBA. Just recently, he surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for first on the all-time scoring list. Overall, it was a truly incredible record to break, and it will probably be years before anyone else breaks it again. That said, it is clear that LeBron is one of the biggest legends in the history of the NBA. One can only hope that he has a solid end to his career. After all, it would be fitting for all of his accomplishments.

However, this season has been a bit of a struggle for James and the Lakers. On one hand, LeBron has been great individually. Although, the Lakers continue to struggle. Moreover, James has missed the last three games due to a lingering foot problem. This is one of those injuries that could very easily derail the Lakers’ season, and fans have been hoping that not to be the case.

Now, LeBron and the Lakers are actually getting some good news. While speaking to Dave McMenamin of ESPN, head coach Darvin Ham said it is very likely that LeBron will be playing tonight. The Lakers are set to take on the New Orleans Pelicans, who are dealing with some injuries of their own. Overall, this will be a huge boost to the Lakers, especially since LeBron averages 30 points per game. Furthermore, it will be his first game with the new players on the Lakers, including D’Angelo Russell and Malik Beasley.

Moving forward, it will be interesting to see how the Lakers respond. They are in desperate need of a winning streak, especially with the All-Star breaking coming up.
