She has had a contentious relationship with Aubry, and for over a decade, they have made headlines. The pair met on a Versace photoshoot when Aubry was working as a model. They dated for five years before announcing their split, unraveling into a bitter custody battle. Berry later met actor Olivier Martinez while working on a film, and she wanted to move her family to France with the French actor. Aubry was adamantly against it, and soon, he and Martinez were fighting at the actress’s home.
A restraining order was established, but a judge sided with Aubry in the custody dispute. Berry and Aubry later settled the matter, and the actress was ordered to pay him $16,000 per month, a retroactive payment of $115,000, and $300,000 in Auby’s attorney fees.
