GloRilla isn’t taking criticism lightly. In a new video she recorded while out for a drive she addressed people that bring up her past as a criticism of her current rap persona. In the video, she brings up complaints people have about her switching up from as far back as high school. Her explanation for the hate is that many of those who can’t replicate her success are just jealous. While the video is short the implication is clear and it is likely targeted at all of her haters, not just this specific group.
GloRilla recently popped up 4 times on Gangsta Art 2, the newest compilation from label CMG. The most notable was her crossing paths with Fivio Foreign for the first time on the song “Cha Cha Cha.” The pair teamed up to perform the song live for the first time during the recent BET Hip-Hop Awards. Though from fan reactions to the performance online, it doesn’t seem to be a particularly well-liked song. Glo also appears on the compilation’s intro track “Overstood,” “Pop It” with Mike WiLL Made-It, and the posse cut “Wrong One.” Check out the video of Glo responding to some of her haters below.
