COVID-19 has hurt a lot of NFL teams this season as some of the best players in the league have been hit with the virus. As a result, it has forced these players to miss games, and in some cases, it has even put their vaccination status into question. With all of that being said, it should come as no surprise that even more players are being met with the COVID-19 fate as we enter the second half of the NFL season.
This weekend, the Dallas Cowboys are going to be facing off against a very solid offense in the Kansas City Chiefs, and they will need all hands on deck to win what should be a shootout. Unfortunately, the Cowboys were dealt a significant blow as it was revealed that their second-most productive wide receiver Amari Cooper would be out as he has now been placed on the COVID reserve.
As reporter Nick Eatman explained, this is something that could carry forward to the Cowboys’ next game as well, which would certainly be bad news for Dak Prescott and company. The Cowboys are enjoying a solid season thus far, and they would much rather keep the chemistry together from week to week.’
