Shaq was swift to respond to Keith Olbermann’s uncalled-for tweet on Angel Reese’s Final Four celebration. Olbermann took to Twitter to call out Reese for making the “You Can’t See Me.” celebration on Caitlin Clark. The former ESPN broadcaster went as far as to call Reese a “f- idiot.” Many among the Twitter world were quick to defend Reese. From LeBron James to even Samuel L. Jackson. Although there were some great responses, Shaq takes the crown for the best response.

Shaq’s response was short, sweet, and to the point. “shut your dumb ass up leave angel reese alone,” the legendary big man stated in a response to Olbermann. Olbermann has since backpedaled on his stance with Reece’s celebration. He mentioned he was uninformed on the matter. The veteran broadcaster said, “I don’t follow hoops, college or pro, men or women. I had no idea about Clark. Both were wrong.” This begs the question, why even speak on the matter in the first place?

The Tigers annihilated a hot Iowa Hawkeyes team to earn the title of champion. The story that needs to be told is that Angel Reese won the 2023 Final Four MVP. She talked her talk and then backed it up. Clark, who has been known for her trash talk, was receiving what she normally dishes out. If anything, the celebration by Reese was an emotional reaction to defeating such an amazing team in Iowa.

The Women’s Final Four was a perfect representation of Women’s sports. The product had more eyes watching this weekend than maybe in its history. Women’s sports are on the rise in the United States. LeBron James was one of the many fans watching the Women’s Final Four this weekend. This past weekend was dominated by women’s basketball and for good reason. So many storylines were fun and digestible to viewers. Who could stop the dominance of South Carolina? Is Caitlin Clark really her? Would LSU and their flamboyantly dressed coach cut down the nets? There were so many storylines, along with so many characters, that created enticing stories.

However, in the end, it was Kim Mulkey’s LSU Tigers that cut down the nets. The Tigers dominated Iowa from the opening tip on Sunday. The Tigers left no questions unanswered with the 102-85 victory. Sadly, the dominant performance has taken second fiddle to a story that gained traction at the end of the game. LSU star Angel Reese decided to give Caitlin Clark a little taste of her own medicine. Clark blossomed into a star during the tournament with her unabashed personality. Clark was unafraid to talk trash and maybe let her opponents know her true feelings with a few simple gestures.

Clark celebrated her dominant performance over Louisville in the Final Four by showing the Cardinals they couldn’t see her. For anyone to even suggest that what Reese did was wrong really doesn’t understand sports. The best trash talkers in sports always get it right back during a loss. Clark’s situation is just another example of being able to handle what you dish out. While Clark didn’t publicly say she was mad at the actions by Reese. Many in the social media world were irate with Reese’s actions. However, this seems like a simple case of athletes having fun during tough competition. Something that LeBron James knows all too well. If there is one thing LSU Women’s basketball head coach Kim Mulkey knows how to do besides winning (and retaining a major ego), it is pulling off showstopper looks courtside. You might have seen a couple of her looks already on social media since she happens to be trending on TikTok. Most of her outfits contain a statement blazer, sweater, or business-approved high heels.

The Lady Tigers’ coach is winning both on the court, and in her closet. According to WBRZ, Queen of Sparkles boutique owner and designer Jamie Glas is responsible for designing some of her most iconic pieces. Kim Mulkey is clearly not a minimalist when it comes to her fashion choices, making statements with every new look. Additionally, statements are also made on the court, with her team holding a record of 24-1 and placing 2nd in the SEC thus far.
