DaniLeigh Says She Saw Texts Between B. Simone & DaBaby

As people weigh in about DaBaby’s projected sales numbers for his latest project, his name is once again entangled in drama related to his ex-girlfriend, DaniLeigh. Last night (September 27), rumors surfaced about DaniLeigh’s appearance on Wild ‘n Out, and it was said that she requested cast member B. Simone to not be included in that episode’s cast. People quickly began speculating about the gossip and alleged that it may have had something to do with DaBaby.

There was a time when B. Simone repeatedly went viral after thirsting over DaBaby on social media, and it left many to believe that her adoration of the rapper rubbed DaniLeigh the wrong way.

That hasn’t been confirmed or denied, but after this news picked up traction, Dani returned with an explanation. She admitted that she and Simone don’t get along and said that people are making it a bigger issue than it is.

“It was never a demand,” she said of the request to have B. Simone removed from her episode. “I don’t know why the blogs are putting out that I demanded B. Simone not to be on Wild ‘n Out. That wasn’t the case. Wild ‘n Out asked me, I love Wild ‘n Out shows, I’ve always supported Nick [Cannon], I always supported the comedians on the show.”

“Me and B. Simone are not cool. So, I just—my team asked if she doesn’t do the episode that I do, respectfully. It was never anything to be like, ‘I’m a diva, I don’t want’—I thought it’d be more mature to not have us sitting next to each other on a show, making it mad awkward and uncomfortable.”

“I’m protecting my peace. I’m protecting my heart on the situation. It wasn’t petty. She was actually there, so I’m sure she got paid. It wasn’t to take nobody from nobody’s pocket.”

DaniLeigh also alleged that B. Simone “made a whole diss song” about her and said she saw “text messages between” DaBaby and Simone in the past, but never mentioned it. She believes she’s handling the situation maturely because she’s trying to keep information to herself.

DaniLeigh Accused Of Having B.Simone Removed From Wild N’ Out Episode Over DaBaby

DaniLeigh and DaBaby may just be co-parents these days, but the new mom is still protective over her ex. The tumultuous couple made headlines last year after getting into a fight on Instagram Live while 26-year old songstress was feeding their 3-month old daughter. A bowling alley brawl and a few doctor’s appointments later, co-parenting seems to be going well for them both.

Despite their separation, the “Take It Easy” singer is still sensitive when it comes to her relationship with the North Carolina rapper. So much so that during a recent appearance on Wild N’ Out, she reportedly had B. Simone removed from the episode because of the comedienne’s public affinity for DaBaby.

Back in 2020, Simone and Baby sparked dating rumors after she starred in his music video for “Find My Way.” Just one year prior, the Wild N’ Out star dressed as a bride and brought out a cut-out board picture of DaBaby to a Halloween party. While this all took place before DaniLeigh publicly began dating DaBaby, the singer still wasn’t fond of having B. Simone on set while filming the MTV show earlier this week.

A source revealed that before filming began, Dani felt like something was going on between her daughter’ father and B. Simone, so she expressed those feelings to executive producers, who ultimately made the big decision. However, DaniLeigh laughed off the allegations, simply responding, “LOL [laughing emoji].” Shortly after, B. Simone’s Wild N’ Out cast members, including Jess Hilarious and Pretty Vee chimed in to defend the comedienne. “Weak sh** don’t give a f**,” Jess commented. Vee added, “No shade but this back & both is mad old. My sis @thebsimone is doing her THING.”

As for B. Simone, she liked the Hollywood Unlocked post that reported the story, leading fans to believe that the claims about DaniLeigh are in fact true. DaBaby has yet to comment on the incident.

Nick Cannon’s ‘Wild ‘N Out’ Is Set To Return To VH1 In April

Nick Cannon has more lives than a cat — and just about as many jobs as that. One of those jobs seemed threatened last year when the multihyphenate rapper-actor-tv-host made some comments on his podcast that were perceived as anti-Semitic, prompting ViacomCBS to sever ties with him. That left the future of his trademark show, Wild ‘N Out, in doubt as not was he on the outs with the owners of MTV and VH1, but production on the show was also shut down due to the pandemic.

However, it appears that his efforts to make amends have not gone unnoticed as a new promo teases the show’s return in April. According to Deadline, the new episodes were filmed before the coronavirus outbreak here in the States and will constitute the second half of the 15th (!) season of the popular improv comedy show. Guests set to appear include rappers 24kGolden, Ambjaay, Cuban Doll, Da Brat, MC Lyte, OMB Peezy, and Rapsody, along with Cannon’s show-hosting brethren Big Tigger, Donnell Rawlings, and Trinidad James. The Black Ink Crew: Compton cast will also appear, as will YouTuber-turned-R&B star Queen Najia.

The show will return on VH1 after Diddy hoped to bring Nick and his most popular creation to Revolt TV. The new episodes will air April 6 at 8 pm ET. You can watch the promo above.
