Luh Kel Flexes His Jewelry & Face Mask Collection On “In My Bag”

Even though Drake has been rocking a heart on his head in anticipation for his long-awaited sixth studio album, he’s not the only Certified Lover Boy in the music industry. Enter Luh Kel, a 19-year-old singer-songwriter with an ear for warm melodies and a penchant for writing heartfelt love songs. After dropping the 14-track album L.O.V.E. last fall, Luh Kel has continued to treat his fans with singles such as “I Wish,” “7:26am,” and “F Love.”

A few months after Mario Judah literally got into his rockstar back, the up-and-coming St. Louis artist paid HNHH a visit for a brand new episode of In My Bag, and in under three minutes, the “F Love” singer-songwriter shows viewers everything that he “can’t manage” without.

When unpacking the contents of his sleek Black leather Lacoste bag, Luh Kel shows that he always keeps some face masks and hand sanitizer with him, showing that he’s still taking the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic pretty seriously. “Make sure you keep some hand sanitizer!” the L.O.V.E. artist jokes as he takes the opportunity to quickly lather some on mid-episode.

Kel also reveals that he often carries mouthwash just in case his breath takes a turn for the worse while he’s around women. Of course, the St. Louis artist carries essentials such as weed, phone chargers, and headphones. Furthermore, his bag is also likely to double as jewelry storage at any given moment, whether it be for his Johnny Dang-created grill, his one-tone Audemars Piguet, or his flashy Luh Kel chain.

Coi Leray Wreaks Havoc In Pressa’s “Attachments” Video

Coi Leray is having an insane year so far, finding a lane for herself and making millions off of TikTok. The rising superstar has had a couple of breakout records this year, including “No More Parties” and the song’s remix with Lil Durk, but she continues to hustle on the path to her debut studio album release.

Alongside her, Toronto rapper Pressa has been impressing with his recent releases. He has equally been rising the ranks with his single “Attachments,” which Coi Leray jumped on for the remix. The track is smooth and it showcases their strong hitmaking talent. The official music video has been released, featuring Pressa in a beautiful mansion, which Coi seemingly haunts through her supernatural powers. Causing Pressa to get wrapped up in vines and casting spells to make the chandelier fall to the floor, Coi unites with Pressa for the video’s closing moments, dancing to the single outside the mess.

DJ Khaled Drops “Body In Motion” Video Ft. Lil Baby, Roddy Ricch & Bryson Tiller

DJ Khaled is fresh off of the release of his latest album, KHALED KHALED that brings a slew of stars together for a Blockbuster affair. Since it dropped in time for the summer, it only made sense that at least one of the music videos would find him in a silk shirt on a yacht somewhere.

Earlier today, DJ Khaled unveiled the official music video for “BODY IN MOTION.” While the song was practically created for the sake of being another summer anthem in Khaled’s catalog, the music video hones into the feeling even further. Khaled, Bryson Tiller, Lil Baby, and Roddy Ricch are warmed by bikini-clad models on a yacht. Joseph Khan, once again, directs the latest visual off of Khaled Khaled with stunning shots of Miami Beach and luxurious promotional shots of Ciroc.

Joyner Lucas Stunts With Mark Wahlberg & Diddy In “Zim Zimma”

Joyner Lucas is an artist who pours himself into every aspect of his craft, and as fans know, his videos have long been a point of pride for the acclaimed lyricist. Case in point, the new clip for “Zim Zimma,” a highlight off his recent project Evolutionwhich might actually be the rapper’s most ambitious video yet. It’s certainly among the most star-studded, boasting cameo appearances from Diddy, George Lopez, and Oscar-nominated actor Mark Wahlberg.

Clocking in at over eight minutes, there’s plenty of room for antics between Joyner and his pals. One particular segment stands as a highlight, during which Mark Wahlberg finds himself so drawn in by Joyner’s music that he ends up driving headlong into a pile of dirt, much to the rapper’s annoyance- you have to see it to believe it, really. As for Diddy’s cameo, he opts to keep it relatively low-key, holding it down in a miniature ride while Joyner spits dexterous, rapid-fire bars; though he doesn’t say much, his commanding presence speaks volumes.

Throw in a few hilarious outtakes for good measure, and Joyner Lucas’ new video for “Zim Zimma” is easily among his most enjoyable, despite its gargantuan runtime. Check it out for yourself now, and sound off if you’ve been keeping Joyner’s Evolution on steady rotation.

Aesop Rock Goes Skeletal In “Jumping Coffin” Video

The Spirit World Field Guide has returned with another scenic stop on his tour. We are, of course, referring to the one and only Aesop Rock, who has proven to be one of hip-hop’s most intellectually challenging lyricists, seldom presenting something exactly as it seems. It’s part of what makes him so compelling to revisit, and Aesop’s latest drop continues to spark new interpretations with every new spin.

Today, the Rhymesayers emcee has come through to bring some new visuals to the table, this time holding it down with a clip for “Jumping Coffin.” In typical Aesop fashion, the visuals come courtesy of his longtime collaborator Rob Shaw, who animated macabre imagery over motion-captured footage of pro skaters  Emile Laurent, Enzo Kurmaskie, Anthony Del Togno Armanasco, and Silas Baxter-Neal.

Though relatively simple in concept, the clip is actually rather ambitious in execution. It also happens to be on-brand for Aesop, who has long held a fascination with all things skeletal — lest we forget about his underground classic Skelethon, which unsurprisingly featured a skeleton on the album cover. Be sure to revisit “Jumping Coffin” now, and show some love to Aesop Rock in the comments below — have you been keeping Spirit World Field Guide in steady rotation?

Lil Durk Debuts “Should’ve Ducked” Visuals With Pooh Shiesty

Lil Durk had a monumental 2020. Aside from appearing on Drake’s summer hit “Laugh Now Cry Later,” the Chicago emcee treated fans to two projects with a standard and deluxe version: Just Cause Y’all Waited 2 at the top of the year followed by The Voice. Released in January, the deluxe version of The Voice went on to outperform the standard edition’s debut week, moving 86,000 album-equivalent album units in its first week.

The deluxe saw 12 new additional songs added to the tracklist with appearances from frequent collaborators like Lil Baby and Pooh Shiesty. As for Pooh Shiesty, he’s been continuing to rise up the ranks in the game ever since his breakthrough single “Back in Blood” also featuring the OTF rapper. The two even appeared together for the Memphis native’s debut television appearance of the track on The Tonight Show.

The “Should’ve Ducked” music video marks the next joint effort from Shiesty and Durk. The visual presents the pair hanging out with their respective crews at night while reciting the track’s menacing lyrics. Making finger guns at the camera in a dark hallway, the video leaves very little to the imagination about what Shiesty and Durk are talking about.

Check out the video for “Should’ve Ducked” above and let us know how you’re feeling about it.

J. Cole Drops “a m a r i” Music Video

It’s been three years since J. Cole won over many of his naysayers with the release of K.O.D which was later followed by a rather impressive feature run. While Cole’s released a few singles since then, fans have been anticipating The Off-Season. On Friday, it arrived in its entirety, just days before Cole made his pro basketball debut in the BAL. The rapper returned this morning with the official visuals to one of the highlights from the project, “a m a r i.” The rapper performs his verses in front of various backdrops including his former dorm room which is decorated with his plaques.

Cole’s latest body of work is, unsurprisingly, expected to do some major numbers this week. The Off-Season is on pace to move anywhere between 280K-310K in its first week which could mark the biggest debut of the year.

Lil Uzi Vert, Gunna, & Don Toliver Go On An Adventure In “His & Hers” Video

On Thursday, Internet Money dropped off what should prove to be one of the best songs of the summer. Much like last year’s effort “Lemonade,” “His & Hers” is a summer-ready banger that features the likes of Don Toliver, Gunna, and Lil Uzi Vert. These artists are all massive stars in their respective lanes and when they team up on the same track together, you can pretty well guarantee that the results are going to be favorable. After releasing the song Thursday, the Lyrical Lemonade music video came out on Friday, and it showcases all of the featured artists going on an adventure.

Throughout the music video, Gunna, Lil Uzi Vert, and Don Toliver are all stuck inside of a computer screen where they can be seen making their way through the woods. The artists seem to be ready for the expedition and they are even dressed like cast members of Duck Dynasty. During Uzi’s verse, the artist can be seen stuck in space, which is certainly fitting for an artist who has given us alien-like fashion and songs over the years.

Let us know what you think of the video, in the comments below.

Morray Recalls His First Time Smoking On “How To Roll”

North Carolina’s Morray is on a triumphant run. Not only did he recently drop off his debut mixtape Street Sermonsbut he also held it down as one of the few features on J. Cole’s brand new album The Off-Season. Suffice it to say, it won’t be long before the rising star — who happens to have the benefit of an endearing and genuine personality — is a household name. We recently caught up with Morray, who held it down to spit some game on the new episode of How To Roll.

It’s evident that Morray is a cannabis connoisseur as he reflects on his favorite strains. “OG,” he begins. “You can’t go wrong, OG is the shit. Gelato, if you want to get fancy. Blue Dream was my favorite when I came out. I used to love Blue Dream. I used to smoke Blue Dream every day.” Insofar as his preference towards Indica or Sativa, Morray leans toward the former. “Indica keeps me awake,” he explains. “Sativa give me that relaxation, want-to-lay-down high. Indica gives me that sixteen songs in the studio high.”

“My first time smoking weed, I was in P.A,” he recalls, taking it back to when he was thirteen. “I was on my way to school, and my cousin had some clips in his mom’s ashtray. I hit that muthafucka and went to school, I ain’t ever been so high in my life. My mom came and got me, she slapped me up and all that shit. I didn’t even know I was there.” He laughs. “She was like, are you ready to go home? I was like, I thought I was home. I’m high as shit!”

He also shares a word of advice to anyone looking to buy weed — always be mindful of the packaging. “If anybody sell you weed and it’s not hard to open up, it’s not real weed,” he declares, after struggling to open his own pack. “It shouldn’t be open at the top. You gotta struggle, that’s how you know that weed is good.” When asked about his daily smoking habits, Morray admits that coming to L.A might have increased his consumption. “I was here for six days,” he recalls. “I smoked eight jars a day. It was a lot. When my label told me how much I was smoking, and I had to pay for it, I was like oh shit! Maybe I should slow down! I thought it was coming out of ya’ll pocket!”

H.E.R. & Chris Brown Voice Their Desires In Music Video For “Come Through”

H.E.R. is easily one of the best voices in the r&b world right now and with each new release, fans get excited about a potential new album. Luckily, H.E.R. recently gave her fans some hope on the album front as she announced a few songs from the upcoming tracklist. The album is called Back Of My Mind and it is shaping up to be a phenomenal effort. One of the lead singles from the project is called “Come Through” and it features Chris Brown. The song was released just a few weeks ago and it has already become a massive hit, with fans clamoring for more.

Today, H.E.R and Chris Brown released a music video for the track and it’s already got fans feeling excited about the summer. Throughout the music video, H.E.R. and Chris Brown are seen dancing with their respective partners who appear to be apprehensive about what’s going on. In these lyrics, H.E.R. and Chris know exactly what they want and in the end, they end up dancing together flirtatiously in a cabin setting. The video fits the track perfectly, and you can check out the production, above.
