At one point, a passenger told OBJ to just get a move on, which led to some insults from the football star.

“You’re everything wrong with the world,” Beckham said. “Looking at me to get off a plane, for you. I would never. Ever in my life get off the plane for you. Specifically you. Maybe everybody else, I would get off the plane. You gon’ wait 40 minutes and I’m going to be on a private plane home. Yeah, with your fat ass. Get your ass off the plane for a second.”

As Uproxx’s October 2022 cover star, Cordae teased his next project. “I wouldn’t compare it to anything, but it’s going to be vulnerable, bro,” the 25-year-old rapper (and TED Talk speaker) said. Cordae is definitely in for his most incomparable, vulnerable chapter yet, but it has nothing to do with his discography.

Naomi Osaka, the tennis great whom Cordae has been dating since 2019, announced today, January 11, that she’s expecting her first child. (She withdrew from the Australian Open earlier this week.)

“The past few years have been interesting to say the least, but I find that its the most challenging times in life that may be the most fun,” Osaka, 25, wrote on Instagram alongside an ultrasound. “These few months away from the sport has really given me a new love and appreciation for the game I’ve dedicated my life to. I realize that life is so short and I don’t take any moments for granted, everyday is a new blessing and adventure. I know that I have so much to look forward to in the future, one thing I’m looking forward to is for my kid to watch one of my matches and tell someone, ‘that’s my mom,’ haha.

The four-time grand slam champion continued, “2023 will be a year that’ll be full of lessons for me and I hope I’ll see you guys in the start of the next one cause I’ll be at Aus 2024. Love you all infinitely. Sidenote : I don’t think there’s a perfectly correct path to take in life but I always felt that if you move forward with good intentions you’ll find your way eventually.”

Cordae has yet to comment, but his fans are taking it upon themselves to handle the public celebration. The three-time Grammy nominee is trending on Twitter because of the hilarious reactions. And while Cordae was teasing new music just months ago, some fans are questioning whether he will rap again after this news.

Nerlens Noel Agrees To Rich Paul Settlement

If you remember, back in 2021, Nerlens Noel attempted to sue Rich Paul for $58 million in lost salary. This all took place because of a grievance Paul filed with the National Basketball Players Association. As the story goes, Paul, who represented Noel with Klutch Sports, hadn’t been paid commission for a $5 million deal with the Knicks.

Noel owed Klutch Sports $200,000, however, he refused to pay the bill. Subsequently, Noel launched the aforementioned lawsuit against Paul where he claimed that the agent was responsible for a missed opportunity. The Detroit Pistons star believes Paul talked him out of a $70 million deal. However, many agents around the league believe Noel is at fault as he ultimately had the final say.

Nerlens Noel Pays Klutch Sports

According to TMZ, Noel has officially decided to reach a settlement with Paul. His lawsuit had been thrown out, so there were no real other options left. Consequently, Paul will be getting a $200,000 payday while Noel continues to think about what could have been.

As you can imagine, Klutch Sports is happy to be done with this chapter. Overall, it was a bad look to have a player saying these things about such a powerful agent. Regardless, even the NBPA wasn’t on Noel’s side here, which is fairly telling.

Rich Paul has some of the biggest clients in the NBA. LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Ben Simmons, and Draymond Green are all under the Klutch Sports umbrella. Needless to say, he has a reputation to uphold.

The Future Of LeBron James

According to a new report from Zach Lowe on his ESPN podcast, LeBron is very much committed to staying in LA. Essentially, there is a chance he could become resentful of the front office, although, for the most part, he has always wanted to finish his career as a Laker. Lakers fans can finally breathe a sigh of relief.

“I keep hearing he wants to stay with the Lakers,” Lowe said. “He wants to finish his career with the Lakers. His comments though should be interpreted as his patience is not infinite and if this is just a continued morass of losing, maybe that changes. But if you force me to bet, I’d still bet on him finishing his career with the Lakers. And I’d feel pretty confident in that.”

Of course, this would mean the Lakers would need to draft or sign Bronny James Jr. LeBron James wants to play with his son, and he will go anywhere around the league to make that a reality.

Frankie Muniz To Compete In NASCAR

If you are a child of the 90s or the early 2000s, you surely know who Frankie Muniz is. He was the main character in Malcolm In The Middle and he was even the title character in Agent Cody Banks. Overall, many fans have fond memories of watching Muniz’s work.

Now, Muniz is 37 years old and he has been immersing himself in the world of auto racing. Ever since he was a kid, he has had dreams of being a racecar driver. Subsequently, he has been gaining seat time in various different types of cars. Now, it looks like he is making a go of it in NASCAR.

According to a new Instagram post, Muniz announced that he will be taking his talents to the ARCA National Series. This is the fourth level of NASCAR that is mainly used to develop young talents. He may not be a Cup racer, but he is under the NASCAR umbrella, which is definitely exciting.

Frankie Muniz Speaks

“Finally making my dream a reality, this one is for my son and showing him that you can always chase your dreams,” Muniz said. “Excited for this opportunity with Rette Jones Racing, Ford, and our partners to go full-time racing for an ARCA National Series Championship in 2023.”

NASCAR racing at any level takes a lot of time and commitment, so it will not be an easy start for Muniz. However, he clearly has the drive (no pun intended) to make this a successful enterprise. If you are a motorsports fan, you can’t help but be interested in how he does.

Lamar Jackson & The Ravens Get Bad News

Lamar Jackson is one of the best quarterbacks in the entire NFL when he is healthy. He has a dynamic skill set that even won him MVP of the league a few years ago. Unfortunately, he has yet to have the playoff success one would expect of a superstar.

Additionally, Jackson is now dealing with contract issues that put his future in Baltimore, in jeopardy. Now, however, Jackson is dealing with yet another injury that has ultimately kept him out of the Ravens’ lineup. With the playoffs just a few days away, fans were hoping he would be able to come back.

Lamar Jackson Sidelined Again

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Jackson missed practice again on Wednesday. Consequently, it is very likely that he will not be able to play this weekend against the Bengals. This is absolutely devastating for the Ravens’ chances, especially with Tyler Huntley missing time as well.

The Bengals have become one of the best teams in the league over the past few weeks. Having said that, the Ravens are going to need a miracle to come out on top here. If you’re a fan of the team, then this Jackson news is truly devastating stuff.

With Jackson going through these injury issues, the Ravens front office will have even less incentive to sign him to guaranteed money. Overall, it is just a bad situation for both parties. Quite frankly, it would not be surprising to see some sort of divorce in the offseason. There are certainly a few teams out there who could use someone like Jackson.

Hopefully, Jackson is able to turn things around and have the career he has the potential to enjoy. In the meantime, stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest news from around the sports world.

FTX Loses Naming Rights To Miami Heat Arena Amid Massive Scandal

If you are someone who was invested in cryptocurrency, then you probably knew about FTX. Unfortunately, many people lost their life savings with the exchange as it was promptly shut down. It has since declared bankruptcy, and now, FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried is looking at a lengthy prison sentence.

Overall, things do not look good for SBF. The entrepreneur is now being charged with fraud, money laundering, and even conspiracy. Needless to say, no one wants anything to do with his company. This is especially true of sports teams who were sponsored by the exchange.

FTX Founder Sam Bankman-Fried leaves Manhattan Federal Court on January 03, 2023 in New York City. FTX Vs. Miami Heat

NBA fans are well aware of the fact that the Miami Heat’s arena was called “FTX Arena.” The naming rights were purchased for $135 million just two years. Since the scandal, however, the Heat has been trying to get the name removed from its building. According to TMZ, those efforts have officially become successful.

Consequently, all FTX logos will be removed from outside of the arena. Additionally, any FTX branding on the court will also have to go. Over the past month, the exchange’s logos have remained on the floor in the arena, which has definitely caused some confusion.

Overall, it can certainly be said that the Heat are just happy to rid themselves of the brand. Now, they won’t have to field any unfortunate questions about the situation.

It remains to be seen who will win the naming rights next. Perhaps the Heat will have the foresight to stay away from crypto this time.
