Drake has a new tour on the way, but could we get new music before then? On the Sound 42 Fri Yiy Show on Sirius XM, an unreleased Drake song dropped, featuring Kim Kardashian speaking on her separation from Kanye West.
According to Complex, the new snipper was from the 2021 series finale of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
The single appears to be titled “Rescue Me,” and highlights what The Boy needs in his true dream girl:
“I need someone to be patient with me Someone to get money, would not take it from me They don’t need to be as famous as me They don’t need to be at the same places as me”
Drake previewed an upcoming song tentatively titled, “Rescue Me,” during Friday night’s episode of Sound 42’s The Fry Yiy Show on SiriusXM Radio. On the track, he samples Kim Kardashian discussing the idea of getting a divorce from Kanye West. The audio comes from an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians in 2021.
“I didn’t come this far, just to come this far and not be happy. Remember that,” Kim said in the clip. Throughout the song, Drake sings about finding a woman to settle down with for the long run. The song could mean a new solo album is on the horizon for Drake, who recently teased dropping at some point in 2023. The Toronto rapper is also gearing up for a collaborative tour with 21 Savage this summer.

“I need someone to be patient with me/ Someone to get money, would not take it from me/ They don’t even need to be as famous as me/ I don’t think I meet ’em at the places I be/ But deep down I think about you all day, mami,” Drake raps. “I know I’m a pitbull, but dalé, mami/ I just wanna take you on a holiday, mami/ Say what’s on your mind, I’m a call away, mami/ Come and rescue me/ Take me out the club, take me out the trap/ Take me off the market, take me off the map/ I’m tryna hit the group chat and tell ’em.”
Drake previously teased the new song during a post on his Instagram Story, earlier this week. It was produced by BNYX, who shared the snippet on his Twitter account as well. “I remember when I used to add the Drake acapellas to my beats to see if they was hard,” he captioned the clip. “Now look.” 50 Cent even praised Drake after the snippet was posted. On Instagram, he wrote, “I fuckwit Drake. He getting ready to come with some hard shit. You know the vibes n***a.”
