Childish Gambino Delays Final Stretch Of North American Tour To Focus On His “Physical Health”

Childish Gambino is going to be no longer pretty soon. After releasing the final album under this moniker, Bando Stone and The New World back in July, he brought out a tour to accompany it. The New World Tour kicked off back in August was essentially in its final stages, as it was scheduled to wrap up on October 3. However, the multi-talented artist is putting things on pause for now, according to Billboard. Gambino says he’s been dealing with some “physical health” issues that he wants to get right so he close things out on a proper note. Here’s what he had to say in a tweet just a couple of hours ago.

“Hey everyone. Unfortunately I have to postpone the rest of the north american tour to focus on my physical health for a few weeks. Hold onto your tickets. ALL tickets will be honored for the upcoming dates in north america when they are rescheduled. Thanks for the privacy. Thanks for the support. Thanks for the love”.

Childish Gambino Tour Update Doesn’t Anger Fans

Obviously, the “3005” hitmaker isn’t going to go into full detail about what’s exactly bothering him. However, the fans don’t mind one bit as they just want to see him rest up and do what he has to do. Normally, fans can be pretty stubborn and selfish, but seeing these responses is always a sight for sore eyes. “HEALTH IS WEALTH!!!! TAKE CARE”, one user says. “Focus on your health more than anything✊🏽”, another adds. At this time, no one is sure about when the North American dates will be announced, so stay locked in with us for any updates.

Usher Unveils Why He Had To Postpone His Early Tour Stops

USHER had fans in an uproar yesterday over his surprise postponement of the inaugural show for his Past Present Future tour. He did so just hours before he was supposed to hit the stage in Atlanta, Georgia. The R&B superstar sent a few painful paragraphs to explain the reason for this. “For my 30-plus year career, 100% of my blood, sweat and tears has gone into putting on the best performance and creating a memorable experience for my fans. I have every intention of doing that for this tour as well. Which is why I have to postpone tonight’s show and reschedule it for a later date to give my body a second to rest and heal”.

People were suspecting that he was referring to all of his previous gigs such as the Super Bowl, his Las Vegas, Nevada residency, and etc. This had some fans understanding where he was coming from, especially since they recognize how much work he puts into his shows. Still, though, others felt blindsided. But it seems we now have specifics. According to a report from Bossip, USHER released yet another statement in which he revealed that he suffered a neck injury of sorts. “Earlier this week, I suffered an injury to my neck while rehearsing to provide my fans with the greatest USHER show of all time”, he began.

USHER Moves Tour Dates Around Following Neck Injury Announcement

“My hope was that with physical therapy and medical treatment, I would be able to overcome the injury and be ready for opening night. Unfortunately, the injury has not healed yet, and my doctors have instructed me not to perform any shows this week”. Thankfully, though, if he stays the course on the proper recovery track, he can hit the stage in Washington, D.C., Tuesday, August 20. Furthermore, the first three shows in Atlanta that were going to kick off the tour are rescheduled. The August 14 show will now be December 9. August 16 is being pushed back to December 10. Then, the performance on the 17 is going to take place on December 12.

What are your thoughts on USHER revealing that a neck injury was the reason for postponing the early Atlanta tour dates? Do you think the fans that were bashing him should apologize? How do you feel about the timing for the rescheduled shows? Are you planning on going to one of the performances? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. USHER Postpones Opening Night Of “Past Present Future Tour” With Heartfelt Message

USHER, even 30 years and change into his career, is still a performer that’s in high demand. The Super Bowl, his residence in Las Vegas, ESSENCE, and Paris around this time last year are just few stages he’s rocked over the last 12 months. Additionally, USHER is someone who wants to give his very best for any venue he plays at. So, it’s why he’s deciding to postpone the opening night of his Past Present Future tour. Unfortunately, the notice is very last minute, as the things were supposed to get underway tonight in one of the many places he calls home, Atlanta.

The enormous trek across the United States is for his most recent record, COMING HOME. If you remember, it was released hours after his halftime performance. Initially, the set of dates was going to start on the 20th in Washington, D.C. But he added a handful of extra stops just a few days after revealing the tour, according to Rated R&B. Unfortunately, it’s unclear when he will hit the road. But for now, USHER had a heartfelt message to share about the reason for this decision.

I have every intention of doing that for this tour as well. Which is why I have to postpone tonight’s show and reschedule it for a later date to give my body a second to rest and heal,” USHER began. “You’re still going to get a bit of the past, some of the present and a unique look into the future on the rescheduled date but you’ll also be getting 100% of me. The last thing I want to ever do is disappoint you, the fans who have been eagerly waiting for this tour to start. However, I wouldn’t be the entertainer that I am if I can’t physically give you my best”.

Before signing off, he wrote, “My team will be sharing news of the rescheduled date soon. I can’t wait to celebrate this legacy with you”. However, that explanation expectedly did not do much to quell the fans anger for this. One person clearly spent a lot of money on this trip and show. “Naah This is not acceptable like I already bought a flight ticket and I booked a hotel so it’s really not acceptable.” Additionally, others would rather know if it will eventually be shut down for good in the future. Just last month, Ye and Ty canceled six separate shows. So, you can see why people are growing tired of this.

What are your thoughts on Ye and Ty Dolla $ign having to postpone their show at the Step Pyramid of Djoser? Do you think they will actually head there still in 2024 or at all, why or why not?
