He has jumped between the Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers, and Chicago Bulls. Furthermore, he has even been on TV for NBA Today. Needless to say, he has done it all. This year, however, he has been back on the Cleveland Cavaliers. He is a depth player for the team, and he has certainly ingratiated himself with the fans out in the Land.

Unfortunately for Thompson, it appears as though his season is being stopped in its tracks. This is because the NBA star tested positive for PEDs recently. In a statement released by the NBA, Thompson had growth hormone in his system. Consequently, he has been suspended for 25 games. At this time, Thompson has not reacted to the suspension. Regardless, this is one of those things that can be pretty hard to fight. Moreover, the NBA takes this seriously as it calls into question the integrity of the league.

LeBron James is someone who continues to be at the pinnacle of his sport. Overall, LeBron is still one of the best players in the entire NBA, despite being 38 years old. At this point in his career, fans thought that he would become washed. However, he has proven people wrong thanks to his 30-points-per-game average. Although he has gone through some injury issues of late, there is no doubt that he can be a top-15 player on any given night. It is truly impressive, and it is beyond anything we have ever seen before.

That said, there are a lot of people out there who have suggested that James could be on PEDs. For those not in the know, PED stands for Performance Enhancing Drugs. This is a broad term for any kind of cocktail of drugs that can boost testosterone or other important hormones. While LeBron has been accused of PED use, there has never been any evidence that he takes them. In fact, these accusations always come across as pure jealousy and are pretty baseless.

LeBron Hit With Chael Sonnen Accusation

This week, James was hit with another accusation of PED use, this time by former UFC fighter Chael Sonnen. In fact, Sonnen was on Flagrant 2 with Andrew Schultz, where he claimed to have the same PED guy as LeBron. This means that they allegedly get their drugs from the same person. Overall, this is a claim that Sonnen has made in the past. Although, he has never actually given concrete proof of this. Either way, Schultz was fascinated by the assertion, and it led to some discourse about PEDs in the sports world.

The NBA is a league that does random drug tests on its players and very rarely does anyone get hit with a positive test. After all, the NBA is a far cry from baseball where it feels like a superstar is being hit with a PED suspension every single season.
