Keefe D’s Nephew Confessed To 2Pac Killing, Former Cop Alleges

Keefe D’s nephew, Orlando Anderson, allegedly bragged about the killing of 2Pac just days afterward, according to retired Compton Gang Unit Officer Robert Ladd. Ladd explained to VladTV that multiple informants claimed Anderson boasted about the murder.

“Within the next few days [of the shooting], we started getting calls from informants,” he said. “And our first ones were saying, ‘Hey it’s Keefe [and] Orlando was the shooter.’ They’re telling us that Bubble Up and Big Dre were in the car. This is days after. This is informants telling us. And it’s just not us; other people had informants too. [Former Compton Police chief] Reggie Sr., this guy in charge of the narcotics unit, Bobby Baker — they were also getting calls with the same information.”

Keefe D Appears In Court For 2Pac Killing

He continued: “So it wasn’t just us getting information about this. We were told that Orlando came back and started to brag about it — not Keefe D, not Big Dre, not Bubble Up. It was just Orlando. Everyone’s telling us, ‘Orlando’s coming back, he’s bragging about killing them.’ You know, rightfully so, probably. But this is within his own gang. Robert Ladd Discusses 2Pac Murder Case

Keefe D’s Nephew Bragged About Murdering 2Pac, Retired Cop Alleges

Last year, an arrest was finally made in connection to 2Pac’s murder, and Keefe D was put behind bars. The alleged gang member is accused of having been the “shot-caller” of the infamous 1996 Vegas drive-by. The man long believed to have pulled the trigger, his nephew Orlando Anderson, was never charged in connection to the crime and later died in 1998.

During a recent interview with a former member of the Compton PD Gang Unit, Robert Ladd, he recalled the days after the shooting. According to him, informants gave authorities both Keefe D and Anderson’s names in no time. Allegedly, Anderson had also returned to Compton after the shooting to boast about the crime. “Within the next few days, we start getting calls from informants. Our first ones were saying, ‘Hey, it’s Keefe D. Orlando [Anderson] was a shooter.’ They’re telling us that Bubble Up and Big Dre were in the car. This is days after informants telling us, and it’s not just us. Other people had informants too,” he recalls.

Robert Ladd Recalls Days After 2Pac’s Shooting

Ladd also explains that in the days after the shooting, there was a lack of communication between the Compton PD and the Las Vegas PD, out of fear of information leaking. As a result, Compton PD wasn’t notified that they should have been looking out for a white Cadillac, and the car returning to Compton was missed.

“Days have gone by now, and all we’re saying is, ‘Come on man, we know the white Cadillac is coming back to the hood. If we knew there was a white Cadillac we would’ve been looking for it,” he also adds. “I mean, in that type of aspect, maybe we could have caught him or even, uh, you know, found the Cadillac.” What do you think of retired cop Robert Ladd alleging that Orlando Anderson boasted about killing 2Pac? Tupac’s Alleged Killer Appeared In Redman & Released An Album

Nearly 30 years after the tragic death of Tupac, and new details surrounding his murder continue to emerge. In recent times, more news surrounding the accused killer, Orlando Anderson, surfaced. Keefe D, Anderson’s uncle, recently sat down for an interview with Vlad TV, where he detailed his nephew’s rap career. Keefe explained they appeared in Mel-Low’s “Blaze It Up” music video with Redman together after Mel’s team reached out to them for a low-rider.

The music video helped Keefe D and Redman develop a strong relationship. Throughout the years, Redman would touch down in Compton and immediately reach out to Keefe for weed. “So yeah, [Redman] used to pull up to that little spot, he used to get off the airplane, get in his taxi, pull up to my spot, ‘Keefe D. I need that bud!’ He was ghetto. I liked him,” Keefe explained.

Orlando Anderson’s Rap Album

Two years ago, an album recorded by Anderson began surfacing online, which shocked many who only knew him as a suspect in the ‘Pac case. Keefe said that Anderson started a recording company but he explained that he was in the feds around the time that the album was recorded. “I had went to the feds so I didn’t know what was going on [with the album]. I didn’t really talk on the phone once you get in the feds ’cause, you know how they do. But once they was doing that, I went to the feds,” he said.

Though Anderson maintained his innocence until his death in 1998, Keefe D has suggested otherwise. During an interview in 2018, he claimed to be in the backseat of the car the night Tupac was shot. Though he never ID’d the killer, he claimed to be “the only one alive” who knows what happened on the night the rapper died. Former Death Row security guard Reggie Wright Jr. said that Keefe D would be arrested in connection to the murder, though that never occurred.
