Bad Bunny Used ‘Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va A Pasar Mañana’ To Address His Phone Throwing Controversy

Bad Bunny’s latest album, Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va A Pasar Mañana, has led to many questions. Is he signed to Drake’s label? Are he and Kendall Jenner officially in a relationship? Has he abandoned his day-one supporters? But, before addressing any of those times, there was one thing the Grammy Award winner wanted to double down on.

The track’s opening song and title track — “Nadie Sabe (Nobody Knows),” produced by La Paciencia and Tainy — revisited his controversial phone-throwing incident in January, weirdly enough predicted by The Simpsons. While the recording artist has addressed the matter several times, including on social media and in past interviews, Bad Bunny wanted to hammer his sentiments in one last time.

“There’s a lot of people wishing me to go badly / Sadly it’s up to those people to suck / You are not my real fan, that’s why I threw my cell phone at you / I will always love the real ones / Let every bastard who wants to speak, speak,” Bad Bunny rapped on the song. Although the lyrics are roughly translated, the lines mirror his previous statements.

As a reminder, the interaction occurred during Bad Bunny’s visit to the Dominican Republic. In his words, a fan got a little too close for comfort. As the woman pulled out their phone to grab a video with the star, he grabbed it and tossed it into the nearby landscape.

Bad Bunny Seemingly Confirmed The ‘Nadie Sabe’ Album Rumors With A Hilariously Cocky Tracklist

This year, Bad Bunny has hopped around every sector of the entertainer industry. He’d had a record-setting headline performance at Coachella 2023, done high-stakes wrestling matches with the WWE, appeared on The Simpsons, and starred alongside his rumored girlfriend Kendall Jenner in Gucci’s latest campaign. He’d be well within his right to take the rest of the year off.

Instead Bad Bunny’s busy ironing out his plans for 2024. Last month, he dropped his latest single, “Un Preview.” In his private WhatsApp community, he said they shouldn’t expect anything else until next year. However, on Sunday, October 8, he seemed to confirm long-standing rumors that his album Nadie Sabe would soon be headed down the pipeline.

A fan page dedicated to Bad Bunny pointed out the minor update to his X (formerly Twitter) profile, where the title now appears in the biography section.

To fuel the fire, Bad Bunny wiped his official Instagram page, a social media marketing move artists typically take to make room for a significant announcement. He even shared a post on X: a hilariously cocky tracklist. Each of the 22 songs are listed as “Fuego,” which, translated from Spanish to English, means fire.

Given that his last album, Un Verano Sin Ti, which was released in 2022, broke tremendous streaming records, Bad Bunny’s confidence seems warranted.

Does Bad Bunny Have An Album Coming Soon?

After releasing a critically acclaimed album like Un Verano Sin Ti, there’s a lot of pressure to follow said project up with even more heat. But for Bad Bunny, that comes easily. This is especially great, as anticipation is high for a new album.

And it looks like new music may arrive soon, especially as Bad Bunny fans have taken to social media to share theories about his impending project.

Does Bad Bunny have an album coming soon?

At the end of the video for his song “Where She Goes,” a dembow and Jersey Club-inspired song that dropped this past May, fans noticed a billboard reading “Nadie Sabe,” which is Spanish for “no one knows.” Fans immediately guessed that this may have something to do with Bad Bunny’s upcoming era, and may even be the album title.

The Puerto Rican hitmaker himself has not commented, however, more billboards have begun to show up in real life.

This past week, Spotify billboards appeared in Mexico, Colombia, Chile, and Argentina. The billboards read “Nadie sabe si será este año o el próximo,” along with the English translation, “No one knows if it will be this year or next.” This has led to further speculation about an upcoming album.

Today (October 7), Spotify shared a picture of what looks like a tracklist. On it are 15 tracks, all titled “FIRE” with a fire emoji. The post was captioned with the hashtag, “#NadieSabe.”

In the comments, fans are speculating that if Bad Bunny actually does have a new album on the way, it may arrive as early as this week.

Which would make sense, as he is scheduled to host and perform on Saturday Night Live on October 21.
