Young Chop Drops “Under Surveillance”

The Godfather of drill continues to leave his imprint through his solo releases. With the year’s end inching closer, the producer and rapper is preparing to sweep through with a few new projects, beginning with Under Surveillance. The rapper came through with his latest project this week. The 7-song effort features no credited guest verses with production being entirely handled by Chop himself.

Under Surveillance arrives just weeks before he unveils a new project which he announced as a part 2 on Instagram last week. That project is set to include four songs and one guest appearance from Nikko Baby.

The rapper’s latest body of work serves as the follow-up to his project I Win which he released in June and included the Kevin Gates-assisted, “Did What I Did (Remix).”

Flipp Dinero Drops Off New EP “Table For One”

While Flipp Dinero has dropped a couple of singles and feature verses throughout 2021, fans have waited patiently for a new project from the “Leave Me Alone” rapper.

That wait is over.

Dropping Table For One, a brand new, five-track EP early this morning, Dinero makes his presence known, handling every single verse featured on the record. Over mostly subdued production, Dinero dives into the ins and outs of his love for the women in his life, as well his love for the money.

Starting with uplifting horns on “No Option,” and finishing with ominous strings and heavy 808s on “Riche$,” Table For One runs the gamut of emotions that come with being a rising rapper in 2021, and displays Flipp Dinero at his lyrical best. Spitting with his customary rasp, Dinero skates on each of the five instrumentals featured on the EP and lets the world know he came from rags to riches, and doesn’t plan on giving it up.

Tracklist
1. No Option
2. For You
3. Need Me
4. On Me
5. Riche$

Sauce Walka 2021 Run Continues With “Spill Drill”

Sauce Walka’s continuing his hot streak in 2021 with the release of his latest project, Spill Drill. Executive produced by A$AP ILLZ, Walka deliver a 16-song tracklist that brings some of the New York flare to his Houston stylings. From the time the album opens with the title track, that influence is heard with Brooklyn drill-style production that you may have not expected to hear from Sauce Walka. Spill Drill continues to prove that the H-Town artist has no limit to his creative boundaries.

The latest offering from Sauce Walka enlists a slew of collaborators, as well. Paul Wall and Lil Keke assist on “Still Drippin Still Tippin,” and Hell Rell appears on “Frenemy.” Other appearances on the project include lildirtycup, Afrikillz, Voochie P, Sauce White, and Sauce WoodWinnin.

Kanye West Drops Deluxe Version Of “Donda”

Kanye West has released a deluxe edition of Donda with several new songs, including his collaboration with Andre 3000 that was leaked by Drake, earlier this year, amidst the beef between the two rappers. The song originally was cut from the project for Dre’s verse being explicit.

The updated project now features the tracks “Up From the Ashes,” “Remote Control Pt. 2,” “Never Abandon Your Family,” “Keep My Spirit Alive Pt. 2,” and “Life of the Party.”

Never Abandon Your Family” was premiered by Ye during one of his listening sessions for Donda at Atlanta’s Mercedes Benz Stadium on July 22; however, the song was left off of following previews of the album as well as its final release.

Donda was originally released on August 29 following several delays.

Landstrip Chip Enlists Latto & More For “Catch My Good Side”

Landstrip Chip has proven over time that he’s an exceptional songwriter. 2019’s From My Point Of View made that clear but the rapper remained quiet throughout 2020. “Lights On” served as his sole release of the year but much like every other rapper dealing with the effects of the pandemic, he was busy cooking up in the studio.

The results of his work is shown on his new project, Catch My Good Side. It’s a 9-song entry that puts his melodic delivery and witty penmanship on display. Catch My Good Side came after the release of a handful of singles throughout the year including “Friendzone” ft. Seddy Hendrinx and “Round 2.”

Catch My Good Side also includes appearances from Vory and Latto. Check out the project in full below.

Q Da Fool Doubles Up On “Twin (Deluxe)”

DMV’s Q Da Fool is back with the re-up. The rapper came through with his seven-song project Twin earlier this year. The project included no features whatsoever but it was another effort that highlighted Q Da Fool’s ability to deliver emotionally-potent records that speak to the struggle he experienced.

This week, the rapper returned with the official deluxe edition of the project. Equipped with an additional 9 songs to extend the tracklist to 16 tracks, the rapper continues to hold it down on his own. Snowzart, who appears on “30 Switches,” serves as the sole guest feature on Twin (Deluxe). However, Q Da Fool does bring on a slew of producers likeNamz Beatz, Harto Beats, E Major Unruly, and Juu2x.

A. CHAL Shares New Project “FAR FROM GAZ”

For nearly a decade now, A.CHAL has been carving out his own lane. There’s really no way to describe his music but his fusion of elements of hip-hop, R&B, Latin trap, and more has formed his own unique sound that ultimately has the power to transcend genres.

It’s been roughly three years since he dropped a new project but on Friday, he blessed fans with his latest body of work, FAR FROM GAZ. The new project arrives after a string of singles like “Zorro” and “Dirty Dancin,” both of which appear on the tracklist. FAR FROM GAZ is 10 songs in total, with moody production fusing together trap and R&B. Haviah Mighty Raises The Price On “Stock Exchange”

A pandemic is enough to slow any artist down but Haviah Mighty’s has kept it pushing. The Canadian rapper’s been slowly unveiling heat across the year with singles like “Avocado” ft. Grandtheft, and the Astrokidjay-assisted, “Coulda Been U.”

On Friday, Mighty came through with her latest project, Stock Exchange in its entirety. The rapper’s follow-up to 13th Floor finds Haviah diving into international sounds with collaborators from across the globe. Grime artists like Yizzy, Latin MC Mala Rodriguez, and Rhythm + Flow contestant Old Man Sax make appearances across the tracklist, along with artists like TOBi, Jalen Santoy, and more.

“These statistics that we use to compare ourselves to others and to define our successes, have become proof of our worth. It’s all perception,” Mighty said in a statement. “These ideas around perceived value got me thinking about the Stock Exchange. Seeing parallels between the way it flows — the constant rising and falling — all dictated by the general public’s perception of an entity’s value, and ultimately how that influences the moves that we make as individuals.”

Dappy Releases Anticipated Album “Fortune”

UK rapper Dappy hasn’t missed this year. Whether he’s serving as a feature or delivering massive collaborations that dominate the summer, he’s spent a large portion of 2021 building the anticipation for a new project. Now, he’s unveiled Fortune in its entirety. It’s a 13-song effort that finds Dappy highlighting his songwriting alongside some big collaborations. Artists like Stefflon Don, Nafe Smallz, Backroad Gee, and Abra Cadabra, who appeared on the previously released single, “Bolo,” all contribute to the tracklist. Fortune also includes both of Dappy’s “Daily Duppy” freestyles with GRM Daily.

Fortune is a triumphant return for Dappy since his last studio album was released nearly nine years ago. With so many fresh faces and new acts in the rap game, he’s proven that he’s able to adapt to the new era of rap.
