ILOVEMAKONNEN Returns With Surprise New Album “My Parade”

ILOVEMAKONNEN is officially back with the release of his surprise new album, which comes on the artist’s thirty-first birthday. While his career may not have gone the way we all predicted back in 2014, Makonnen is still culturally relevant because of his earlier work on songs like “Tuesday”, which remains one of the best niche records for a night out in the middle of the week.

We haven’t heard from Makonnen in a while but he’s been locked in the studio, continuing to work on his craft and delivering his latest full-length effort on his birthday. Revealing that My Parade is the first independently-released project in his catalogue, fans will be listening to the Lil B and Payday-featured album for the next little while. There are chances of viral success on tracks like “Whoopsy”, which has a new visualizer below.

Fre$h Experiments With His Sound On 5-Track EP “Still Summer Somewhere”

Houston artist Fre$h is a man who has consistently delivered some dope tracks and projects over the years. Fans are always looking forward to what he will do next and over the weekend, he decided to drop a brand new five-track EP that contains some summer tropical vibes. In fact, while making this album, Fre$h noted that he got to experiment with Afro beats for the very first time.

“I was in Aruba when I realized that tropical sounding music really has no expiration date. Ironically, my dog Paperboy Fabe hit me and said “Yo Fre$h, I think your voice would sound good on some Afro beats.” I had never tried it before so as soon as I got back we locked in and created some of the best music I ever made and named the project Still Summer Somewhere.. because even if it’s cold where you are, all you have to do is board a plane to catch the vibe,” Fre$h said.

Fre$h’s voice works great with the production and all five of these tracks will have you wanting to be at the beach with a drink in your hand. Stream the project, below.

Sauce Walka Drops Off Third Project Of The Week “R&B Sauce”

Sauce Walka clearly stockpiled on music throughout the pandemic. The rapper’s prolific output this week included the release of Birdz Hunt Snakes and his collaborative effort with El Trainn on Sauce Train. Those two projects along would give fans enough music to ride out to for the remainder of the year, though it seems like the plan is to overwhelm them with songs.

This week, he returned with another project titled, Sauce R&B which stands for Sauce Rhythm & Blood. Laced up with 15 songs with a runtime of nearly an hour, Sauce Walka offers a slew of bangers with artists like Trippie Redd, El Trainn, Maserati Jay, Rico Glizzy, and more.
